Family history:

At the age of 16, his mother passed away from cancer. He then had to grow up quick and help support the family.

He got a part time job and would wrestle on the weekends.

His father didn't know how he could do it but supported him in every way possible.

He was trained by the legendary Lance Storm after stumbling across an application during a house show.

Graduating high school, he quit his job and took a risk on being trained fulltime in the academy.

After that he was signed to Progress Wrestling to be part of local talent, the management were impressed and called him back to present him with a contract.

Tyler started wrestling in Progress at the age of 20, he met the little blond aussie Toni Storm.

They became best friends instantly as they had similar interests.

A year later at a Progress show, a Japan recruiter caught an eye on him and wanted to sign him to a combined deal.

New Japan*

Tyler would sign with NJPW a month later and would move straight to Japan to live in the famous NJPW Dojo.

There, he would join Will Ospreay to help reform "Chaos" with Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Gedo and Shinsuke Nakamura.

After two years he had a nice wrap sheet on his record from Chaos.

He left the group to go single for a bit.
