It Was The Anniversary-Oneshot- angst
Tord sobbed.
It was the anniversary of him meeting Tom. It had been exactly 20 years he had known Tom, 10 since they moved in together with Edd, and 1 since he betrayed him.
He was wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate in his hands while looking at a group picture with all his ex-friends. Pau and Pat looked at him worried. It was rare to see their leader like this. When he came into the kitchen he was fine, but as soon as he saw the picture, he broke down.
Pat nodded at Pau. They knew what they had to do.
They had already bought the ticket and printed it out. They just haven't had the chance to give it to him, but now seemed like the perfect timing. "Hey Tord..." Pat started being the less harsh of the two.
He glanced up before taking another sip from the hot drink in his hands. "Look, we got you tickets to go visit your old friends." Pau finished off.
Tord spit out the liquid he held in his mouth.
"WHAT!?" His eyes were wide. He couldn't do that! No, No, No! He wouldn't. "I'm not going!" he yelled. His face went red and he puffed his cheeks like he used to do before a tantrum as a child. Pat knew what was happening. Even if Tord was an adult now, he still had his outbursts, or as some call them, he was about to have a psychotic episode.
His eye was twitching. So was his body.
"I'm. Not. Going. I'm not going, I'm not going, I'm not going." He repeated eyes seeping into a blood red instead of his shining silver. Pat gulped and nodded at Pau. If he was going to die, then he would make sure Pau didn't.
Then the twitching stopped. His face melted to a softer expression and his eyes were once again the color of a full moon. Pat had never seen him calm down on his own. The ever present tears struck again. "I don't want to go Dad. I-I can, can't go." The Infamous leader whimpered.
As of now he was on his knees in the center of the lounge crying, again. He had been wearing the same white tank top and red briefs for the past week and god knows when the last time he took part in a shower, so basically Tordif Larrsin looks like shit.
Pat sighed.
Tord, Pat, and Pau were all around the same age, but Pat and Pau were basically his parents. It hurt to see his almost son like this. "I do want to see them. I-I just can't go, go there al-alone, and I know y-you two don't like being away from home or me for to long... Can they just come here?" Tord looked at his almost father with a pleading expression.
Pat suddenly wished Pau was here. Pat always crumbled when Tord looked at him like that., but Pau always remained strong and firm. Sadly, Pau wasn't there.
Pat let out an exaggerated sigh. "Fine. But only if you take a shower and change."
Tord let out a small smile, and walked to his room, shocking the mother figure. Tord never did what Pat said, but most importantly Tord hasn't smiled in the months he's been home.

It was the anniversary of Tord becoming friends with Edd and Matt. It had been exactly 26 years they had met, 10 since they moved in, and 1 since he had betrayed them.
Tord sat nervously with his two best soldiers and parents.
Surprisingly, the gang decided to come to Norway and visit. Tord gripped at his sleeve that was hiding his robot arm, a nervous habit he had formed. The plane would be landing any minute now, and then the trio would officially be in Red Norway.
Tord was in his leader outfit as he would be in public, but this time he had his red hoodie on underneath so he could take off the stupid thing as soon as he was in his house at the base.
Pat held up a sign that simply said "Eddsworld" on it in bright green sparkly letters. Tord's posture was straight and he had a steely look on his face, but on the inside he was crumbling. He wanted nothing more than to just slouch, go back home, curl up in a blanket with some of his Pa's hot chocolate and cry to himself on the couch.
But that wasn't an option.
Edd was the first one to step off the platform and through the gate. He was still wearing that green hoodie. There was a bulge in his pocket meaning her probably brought his lucky can. Matt was next, looking sharp as ever, blue eyes shining. When he reached Edd, he grabbed his hand. Tord concluded they got together after he left.
Then there was Tom.
Somehow, after everything he had done, after all the fights and shit Tord has been dragged through with him, Tom still managed to take his breath away.
The way his hair seemed to defy gravity, The endless voids of his eyes, the cool blue of one of his many hoodies, the checkered patterns on his shoes and on his bass that he surely had with him. He was just perfect.
And it made Tord finally crack.
Despite all the people in the airport, despite his friends starring at him from across the way, despite his two parental role models standing behind him, he broke down.
He sunk to his knees and sobbed, again.
He couldn't stop. The tears kept streaming and the gasps and sobs kept escaping. He tried to calm himself down, to stop being so weak in front of his people and friends, but he couldn't stop it.
The guilt. The depression. The shame.
It all came crashing in on him, and it hurt. It hurt so much. It was the worse pain he's ever felt.
He felt a hand on his shoulder, then a warm hug, Then someone tackled the two making them all hit the ground. He opened his eyes to see green and purple. Matt and Edd. They were hugging him. Forgiving him.
New tears fell down his face, happy ones.
They were forgiving him.

They all sat around the coffee table with mugs of hot chocolate. The ticking of the clock filled the silence of the room.
"So, how is Norway!" Edd gleefully exclaimed, scarring the unstable soldier. Tord jumped and reached for his gun out of instinct until he remembered that Pau and Pat had confiscated it so Tord couldn't do anything rash.
Matt began to feel the heaviness in the room. "Um, well, where's the bathroom Tor?" He asked politely. "Oh, uh, down the hall to the right, Matt" The Norsk responded. "Thank you!" Matt exclaimed, starting off on his journey to find the bathroom. "Oh, I better go with him and make sure he doesn't get lost or hurt." Edd fretted, briskly walking after the ginger.
Now it was only Tom in the room with the communistic leader, making the weight in the air even heavier. "Look, Tord, I need to get this off my chest."
Tord's head snapped towards the direction of the blue clad male, eyes hopeful.
Could this be it? Will Tom finally tell him they were friends the whole time? That Tome had somehow grown feelings while the two were apart? Did he come to terms with himself and is about to forgive Tord?
Thoughts swam through Tord's head as he began to shift in his seat in anticipation.
"Tord, I fucking hate you." Tord felt his heart shatter. The small, hopeful grin, dropped from his face as the words cut deeper than they would have before.
"You have done nothing except cause us pain. You hurt Matt's face, Edd has been a complete mess, for gods sake I wake up with a searing pain in my arm every morning! Even when you were around all you did was annoy me, ignore Matt, and hardly treat Edd with the respect he deserves! I don't even know why we're here other than the fact that Edd felt guilty or some Bullshit reason!"
I deserve this. Tord thought to himself. I caused them so much and I expected them to forgive me? How do I expect forgiveness from other people when I can't even Forgive myself.
Tord's self destructive nature never helped in situations like these. It only made him weaker than he already was. The tears welling up in his eyes made his vision blurry. He cold now only make out the shape of Tom. His words were muffled by Tord's concentration to keep the tears in. He will not cry in front of Tom.
"But enough ranting. My point is, Tord, that you are the most annoying and horrible person I've ever met, but somehow I have managed to fall in love with you."
What?
"I love every stupid thing about you. Your accent, how you're so embarrassed by that phase you went through but you never threw out the jacket, the way your hair flips up in the back and forms horns in the front, your silvery eyes, the color of your hoodie, your ever constant smile. The list goes on and on..."
Tom's words failed him as he stared at the red clad leader. The younger man looked as if he was about to cry, which he was. A few tears slipped and the next thing you knew, he was a sobbing mess clutching onto Tom's hoodie.
He smelled of vodka and vanilla air freshener. It smelled good.
Tom wrapped his arms around the sniffling boy. He couldn't let go. Not again.
"I'm staying."
"W-what? Tom y-you can't. What about E-edd an-and Matt?" Tord questioned in shock.
"they'll be fine on their own. Tord I love you. I'm not letting you go, not again."
"Tom. I- I love you too."

Tord was sitting across from Tom on their anniversary, reliving the past.
It has been exactly 10 years since that day, 5 since their marriage, and 1 since Tord had become the leader of the world. He was holding his Tommy's hand from across the table smiling. He had defiantly gotten better with his love by his side. They had even adopted a child they named Torm. Life was good
BANG!
"Tom!"
~><~
It was the anniversary of Him meeting tom.
It had been exactly 40 years since they met, 30 since they moved in together with Edd, 29 since he betrayed him, 24 years since their marriage, 22 since Tord became leader, and 10 since Tom had been assassinated.
Tord looked at the ground from the tallest building in the world, a not tucked in his pocket. I'll see you soon beloved, he thought as he flung himself into the streets below.
I hope Torm forgives me, were his last thoughts before the sickening sound of bone against concrete was heard around the world.
A/N hey, I just read this again after how many months and I've realized it's like, actually horrible. Like Jfc ew? I went through this really weird Dom Tom phase and like, I made Tord so OOC? Like woof man. So yeah if you've read this far please please please don't judge my writing only by the beginning chapters. Even I know it's bad.
