3rd P.O.V.

Afternoon....

It was lunchtime and everyone started eating lunch. Jun walk up to Tomo's desk as she was still busy talking with Y/n.

Tomo: So, after school want to come over to my place. I'm sure my mom and dad will be happy to see you again.

Y/n: Are you sure? It been a while since I last saw them. Is your dad still the same overprotective father he is.

Tomo: Yeah... and he still nervous being around mom no matter how many she tells him they're already married.

Y/n: Wow! For a full-grown man, he still gets nervous being around his own wife.

Tomo: Crazy right.

Jun: Hey, Tomo! Want to grab lunch together?

Jun said happily to her as they both turn to look at him.

Tomo: Sorry, Jun but I'm going to spend the whole day with Y/n and show him around like I promised to the teacher.

Jun: Oh really...

Jun look at Y/n coldly as Y/n look back at him with neutral expression.

Y/n: What? Got something to say.

Jun: Nothing... but keep this in mind just because you two knew each other doesn't give you the right to be all friendly with her.

Tomo: Uh... *thought* What with the sudden change of attitude.

Y/n: Are you saying I can't be friendly to my childhood friend, I haven't seen for a long time. That really messed up if you ask me...

Jun: To make me say it again.

He said giving Y/n a glare, but Y/n remained unfazed.

Y/n: What you need to understand is you should be careful what you say in front of people.

Directing his eyes to Tomo as Jun forgot she was still there and covered his mouth quickly.

Tomo: ......

Jun: Excuse me. I got to go!

Jun walk away quickly leaving the two alone and Tomo still surprised by the reaction.

Tomo: I... uh... *thought* WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?!?

Tomo P.O.V.

I can't believe what I just witnessed from Jun! Did he actually get jealous!? Since when does a guy like him get jealous. And why?! We're not even dating and not to mention the embarrassment on how he completely rejected my confession because he still thinks I'm a boy after I'm a girl. Just remembering about the day when I work up the courage to confess to him makes me look like an idiot.

Y/n: Hey, Tomo. Are you ok?

Tomo: Huh? Oh, sorry! My bad I was just thinking to myself.

Crap! I was thinking to myself too long I've been ignoring Y/n. I hope he doesn't think of me weird or anything that will be embarrassing after we finally met.

Y/n: Alright, just worried about you. You sometimes space out too yourself that you lose track of time.

Tomo: I guess I forgot about that. Hehe!

I guess he hasn't change much when we were kids even after he treats me equally as him. Y/n still sees me as a girl and always concern about me no matter how much I tell him I'm ok. It makes happy someone still treats me like a girl even thought I don't act like one.

Y/n: So, Tomo... what your relationship with this Jun guy. He seems really protective of you if he thinks he threaten me.

Tomo: J-Jun, don't mind him. He just another childhood friend I made when I moved here and.... *whisper* the person I confessed my love and got rejected entirely.

Y/n: Excuse what?

Tomo: Nothing!

Y/n instantly started looking at me suspiciously as he got closer to my face making blush in embarrassment.

Tomo: *thought* Gah! Too close! Our face are inches away from each other. What do I do!?

I closed my eyes hoping he's stop staring at me and luckily, he did.

Y/n: Alright, I believe you...

Tomo: Phew! *thought* That was close! However, ...

I then look back at Y/n noticing a few scars on his face. What happened to him?

Tomo: Hey Y/n, what happened to you?

Y/n: Huh, what do you mean.

Tomo: Your face, I noticed you have a lot of scars. Did you get into some fights...

I said with a concern tone, wondering why he has so many.

Y/n: Oh these... don't worry about them too much. They're just some injuries I sustained during my intense practice in karate especially when I was put to spar with someone. Nothing to worry about too much trust me.

He gave me a smile showing me he's ok, but I can tell that there more to the story behind what he's saying. As I was thinking to myself my arm moved on its own and started caressing his face. Gently touching his many wounds, he sustained.

Y/n: T-Tomo!?

Tomo: Huh...

Y/n: W-Why are you caressing my face!?

Tomo: ...... Wha! I... I'm sorry!

I instantly let go of his face as I started blushing madly and looked away from him.

Tomo: *thought* Oh my god! What was I doing just now!? Was I caressing Y/n face! Why was I doing that!?

I was so embarrassed of myself I don't think I can look at him anymore. However, I took a glimpse to see Y/n reaction and to my surprise he was blushing madly like me.

Tomo: *thought* I-Is he blushing as well!? D-Did I do that? This is the first time I made anyone blush let alone a boy who I been friends with since we were kids before I moved away.

To be honest it actually feels nice.... It makes me feel like a real girl in a way.

Y/n P.O.V.

I couldn't believe what just happened... my childhood friend... the same girl I've been in love with since we were kids.... just caressed my face. Quick have to change the subject before things get more awkward!

Y/n: Um... *cough* We should get something to eat while we still have time for lunch.

Tomo: R-Right! Let's do that...

We started walking toward the cafeteria as we remained silent to one another after the awkward situation. However, I feel like someone was spying on us around the corner.

3rd P.O.V.

Unknown to Y/n and Tomo, they were actually being spied on, but it isn't who you think it is. It was a female student with blond hair, two red blushes on her face, green eyes, and a hairband with a single flower on the side.

???: Y/n... friend...

After school...

School has ended and everyone started packing up to leave home.

Tomo: Tomorrow after school I'll take you to the karate club I attend on the weekdays of school. How does that sound to you?

Y/n: Sounds great! I can teach you some of the moves I've learned when you were away.

Tomo: *nods in agreement* Wait... where do you live by the way? I know I've asked you to come visit my folks, but I don't want to trouble you if you live somewhere opposite where I live.

Y/n: I live around the (street address/n) is near the station on how I got to school.

Tomo: Hey, that where my house is! Why haven't I notice you guys moving in the area.

Y/n: I guess we moved in during the middle of the night. We were so tired of the long ride we just unload the moving van and just passed out.

Tomo: That's explain it, I did hear a large vehicle arrive in the middle of the night. I can't believe that was you of all people. I guess that make us neighbors, hahaha!

Y/n: So, I guess inspect to see me every morning as walk to school.

Tomo: Totally!

Jun: Hey, Tomo! Ready to leave?

Tomo: Yeah! Ready to go, Y/n.

Jun: Wait he's coming?

Tomo: Y/n actually lives in the same area where we are. What a surprise right?

Jun: Right...

Tomo picks up her school bag.

Tomo: Let's go before we miss the train stop.

All three of them leave together and makes their way toward the train station. However, as their walking home Jun decided to ask Y/n a personal question.

Jun: Y/n... I have a question for you. What your story with Tomo because I find it hard to believe she had a childhood friend before moving here.

Tomo: What the hell is that supposed to mean!?

Y/n: Easy Tomo, he was just asking... as to answer your question Jun. Me and Tomo have been friends since we were kids our parents are actually old friends from the same school they went to when they were our age.

Flashback

It was 12 years ago me and Tomo where around 4 years old at the time and our parents decided to have a panic together at the park. During my first meeting with her I guess I could say meeting with Tomo was... wonderful.

Kid Tomo: Hey, my name is Tomo!

Kid Y/n: Hello, my name is Y/n.

Kid Tomo: Want to play a game with me?

Kid Y/n: Sure! What kind of game we're playing?

Kid Tomo: How about... Tag your it!!

Kid Y/n: Hey!?

We started having fun together playing tags, wrestling, hide and seek while our parents were catching up for old times' sake. Afterwards we became the greatest of friends for those two years together with both of us being trained under Tomo dad in his Dojo and learning about their backstory from Tomo's mother.

End of Flashback

Y/n: I can still remember everything like it was yesterday but that came to an end when Tomo family decided to move away because of work related if I remember correctly.

Tomo: Can't believe you remember all that from way back. I'm amazed, Y/n!

Y/n: Well, I was hoping one day I get to meet you again one of these days, Tomo. So, I kept myself busy by attending another nearby dojo after your father moves his and start sharpening my skills until I became a black belt in karate.

Tomo: I guess you really missed me didn't you. Hehe!

Y/n: You have no idea. Haha!

Y/n and Tomo couldn't help but laugh and blush to one another while Jun looks on in jealousy for some reason he doesn't know why.

Jun: *thought* I still don't understand why he has to be close to Tomo. They haven't spoken in years and yet they're acting like nothing has changed between them. It really irritates me for some reason but why...

They continue walking back home as Y/n and Tomo continue their reminiscing of the past while Jun walk in silence and envy of the two friendship.
