3rd P.O.V.

It was the beginning of the semester, and the cherry blossoms are blooming early in spring. Two students are seen under the cherry blossom, the girl with short red hair looking nervous as she stands in front of the other person looking like she about confesses about something.

Tomo P.O.V.

Right after I started high school, I made a confession. It was, without question, a confession of love!

Tomo: *thought* This is it! I'm going to tell him! I'm going to confess my feelings to Jun! And if he rejects me than...... I don't know! I didn't think this through enough! Argh!! That's ok! That's ok! That's ok! Just have to get this over with and say it before I regret for the rest of my life.

Taking a deep breath and composing myself, I finally confess my feelings to my childhood friend that I feelings for a long time.

Tomo: I love you, Jun! Can I get your response now?

Jun: You're just telling me this now, Tomo?

I was confused by what Jun meant by that as it made my heart race.

Tomo: But... 

Then he wraps his arm around my shoulder as he gave me a first pump making me feel disappointed.

Jun: I love you too, best bud!  

Tomo : Y-Yeah...   

I knew it! Full on rejection because this dude doesn't even see me as a girl! But I, Aizawa Tomo... am a girl!  

Earlier this Morning....

Tomo: I'm heading out.

I was leaving my house until I heard Jun calling me.

Jun: Heya, Tomo.

Tomo : Hey... *thought* Oh boy this is awkward especially after I confessed my feelings only to end up getting rejected at the end. It makes me wonder if he even has feelings for me in the first place.

We started walking together to school and you're wondering who this guy next to me. This is Kubota Junichiro, lives next door to me, so we've hung out together a lot since we were little. We went to different elementary schools, but in middle school...   
Flashback....

It was when I started wearing female clothes in front of him, it made understand something was off...

Tomo: Hey Jun! We can finally walk home together!

He gave me confuse expression as he pointed out my uniform that I was wearing.

Jun: You know... You're getting a little too crazy with that skirt! What kind of new start are you making?

Tomo: Huh?!

That was when I first realized that Jun thought of me as a guy!

End of Flashback....

Tomo: *thought* Jeez! What with this guy deal anyway! How did Jun not notice I was a girl this whole time! I still remember my friend from my previous hometown before I moved here. At least he knew I was a girl when we first met. Hmm... I wonder how he's doing now. It been a long time since I talk about him and yet I still remember him clearly as day.

Flashback....

It was before I moved here, I made a friend my own age where I used to live as we hung out a lot after school. We either played tag, heroes and villains, hide and seek, etc.... It was so much fun!

Tomo: Catch me if you can!

???: You know I will!

We always play around with each other while our parents hung out as we played in the backyard of his house. He always treated me like a sister despite me looking tomboyish than girlish. Even so he always saw me as a girl, but at the same time treated me like an equal as we had fun together.

Tomo: Almost caught me that time!

???: Aw man!

Tomo/???: Hahahaha!!!

End of Flashback....

Tomo: *thought* I miss those time.... I miss him.

While I thinking to myself, Jun interrupted my thoughts.

Jun: We're gonna miss the bus. Let's move!

He slapped my ass making me get surprised by the action.

Tomo: Ah! *thought* Did this dude just freaking touch my butt! What the hell!?

I looked at Jun with a angry expression as he gave a confused look like he did something wrong.

Jun: What's up?

Tomo: This little...

In response I punched him on the side of his stomach as he wince in pain from my punch.

Tomo: *thought* Serve him right!

Jun: W-What did I do?

Tomo: Hmph!

By the way, I do karate. I been doing Karate since I was young considering my father is a karate teacher and has his owns dojo.

3rd P.O.V.

At School....

Tomo started ranting her issues about Jun with Misuzu another childhood friend of hers listening to Tomo rant.

Tomo: That stupid Jun! Is he gonna treat me like a guy forever? You gotta say something to him for me, Misuzu! 

Misuzu: Listen, Tomo...  I'm saying this as someone who's been a friend to both of you for years. Frankly, you're getting what you deserve.   

Tomo: Huh?  

Misuzu: You only ever play games that boys play. In middle school, you even fought with kids from other schools. And while I'm at it... Even in kindergarten, whenever I asked you to play house or dolls, you never once played with me.  

Tomo felt embarrassed when Mizuru made a point about her.

Tomo: S-Sorry... 

Misuzu: At this point, you might as well just become a boy. What do you say?  

Tomo: Don't ask me that! What the heck? You're gonna treat me like a guy, too?   

Misuzu: Honestly, I'd like to, but... Unlike Junichiro, I've seen certain things... with a woman's eyes. Anyway, your first problem is the way you talk.  

Tomo: Yeah, but I can't just start talkin' girly outta nowhere.  

Misuzu: For starters, why not try softening your tone a bit? Try being more polite and less blunt.

Tomo: Hmmm...

Misuzu: Also have you heard. We're getting a new student that moved here recently.

Tomo: Really? The beginning of the school year has just begun.

Misuzu: Yeah, I even heard that he came from the hometown where you used to live before coming here.

This caught Tomo attention as she could only think of one person that will be coming from her previous hometown.

Tomo: Where I used to live? *thought* Wait could it mean.... No way that's impossible.

Misuzu: The homeroom teacher said he's joining this class starting today so I expect he's arriving for 1st period.

Tomo: Huh, this should be interesting. It will at least keep my mind busy from Jun after what I went through on confessing to him.

1st period......

It was 1st period, and everyone is in class as the teacher prepare an announcement before starting class.

Teacher: Hello everyone! As you all know we have a new transfer student joining us this year.

The whole classroom started chatting among each other.

Jun: A new student, huh. That's sound awesome right, Tomo.

Misuzu: Yeah, more awesome than you and your muscle brain head.

Jun: I hate you.

Misuzu: I hate you more.

Tomo: ......

Teacher: Ok, that's enough chattering among each other and pay attention. I want all of you to make him feel welcome and need a volunteer to show him around the school if you have time. Now.....

The teacher turns toward the door as wave his hand.

Teacher: You can come in, Mr. L/n.

This definitely caught Tomo attention.

Tomo: L/n!

Jun: Huh? Is he someone you know, Tomo.

Misuzu: What else idiot.

Jun: I wasn't talking to you.

Misuzu: Bite me.

Tomo turn to look at the door as Y/n step into view for everyone to see him. Immediately all the girls including Tomo and Misuzu blush instantly when they saw him.

Y/n: Hello.

Y/n walk and stand next to the teacher as the girls immediately start gossiping about Y/n and the boy talking each other noticing his faint scars.

Female student 1#: Wow~! He so handsome~!

Female student 2#: He so gorgeous~!

Male student 1#: Woah! Do you see his scars?

Male student 2#: Yeah, was he in a fight that went down hard.

Teacher: Ok, that enough everyone. Please quite down.

Jun lean toward Tomo as whisper to her.

Jun: Check it out, Tomo! This dude has scars all over his face. What do you think happened to him, Tomo. Tomo?

Jun noticed Tomo staring intently at Y/n as her attention remain on him.

Teacher: Please introduce yourself, Mr. L/n.

Y/n: Hi, my name is Y/n L/n. I'm 18 years old and I just recently moved here with my parents. I enjoy video games, manga, anime, cooking, and I'm a black belt in Karate. So, there's a club involving martial arts I like to join if it still available for new members. And I hope to get along with all of you this semester and the rest of school years that follows.

Teacher: Thank you for introduction, Mr. L/n. Now, I need someone to volunteer on showing him around the school if you have time. So, is there any volunteer?

Before anyone could raise their hands, Tomo immediately raised her hand first as she stand up from her desk. This caught Jun and Mizuki by surprise.

Tomo; I-I can show him around, sir!

Teacher: Thank you, Ms. Aizawa. Now, Mr. L/n take a seat next to Ms. Gundou is.

Y/n: Ok.

Y/n makes his way toward the desk assigned to him as he takes a seat next to Mizuru. Setting down his bag on his desk, he looks back behind him as he smiles at Tomo making her blush.

Y/n: Nice to see you again, Tomo. It been a long time hasn't it.

Tomo: Y-Yeah, it has been a while hasn't.

This didn't go unnoticed for Mizuru and Jun as they're confused how Tomo and Y/n know each other.

Jun: Hold up! I know you just got here and all but who are you to call Tomo by her first name.

Misuzu: And how do you know her first name, anyway. You guys just met today.

Y/n: Let say, me and Tomo have history together.

Misuzu: History?

Jun looks upset for some reason when Y/n said that.

Jun: What do you mean by that.

Tomo: Stop it, Jun!

This surprise Jun by Tomo response as he was taken aback.

Jun: Tomo. Do you know this guy or something.

Tomo: Yes.

Misuzu: Who is he do you?

Tomo: Jun, Misuzu, I like you to meet Y/n. He's my first childhood friend from my hometown.

Juna and Mizuru eyes widen in surprise by the shocking news.

Jun/Misuzu: What?!

They both turn to look at Y/n who waves at them with a smile on his face.

Tomo: And Y/n, I like you to meet my other childhood friends.

Y/n stretch out his hand towards them for a handshake.

Y/n: Nice to meet you! I'm Y/n, Tomo's childhood friend. Thanks, on looking out for Tomo and being friends with her.

They both shake his hand as they remained shocked.

Y/n: So, how's it been Tomo. Are you still doing Karate with your dad?

Tomo: It been good! And yeah, my dad still teaches me Karate, but I joined the karate club. Hey! How about you join the club with me. You said you're a black belt in karate do you mind teaching some moves.

Y/n: Sure! It will also be a great idea for us to catch up for lost times.

Tomo: Defiantly!

The two continue chatting like old friends as class started. Jun and Mizuru continue to be shocked can't believing that Tomo had a childhood friend before them.

Misuzu: What...

Jun: The...

Misuzu/Jun: F***!?
