-PERSONALITY-

Tahli is a hard worker, used to struggling and persevering to get what she wants, and that mindset has followed her throughout life. She is strong willed, stubborn, but she knows when to back down, especially when in the same room or in relation to the Dark Beast. She is feisty, playful, mischievous, and competitive when something catches her interest. She can be flirty, seductive even, when she wants something, and she is confident in herself and her body. She is loyal, protective and has a strong survival instinct, though at times she will ignore it. She is intelligent, athletic and fit from years on the farm, and while she is feminine, she doesnt mind getting dirty, dirtying her dress or shoes, messing up her makeup, none of that really bothers this girl. She has a silver tongue, using her words to direct a conversation or manipulate a visitor is needed or requested. She is loyal to the Dark Beast, enjoying her life without being forced into marriage just to produce children. She can be friendly and caring when she wants to be, but also cool and dark if you hurt or anger her. She will seem to trust you, but as soon as you do something that may break that trust, she probably wont ever trust you again. She can act innocent, often getting away with the illusion, but in truth, she is not in any way innocent to the world.

-BACKGROUND-

Tahli was born the eldest child of Jared Verres, a farmer, and his wife Daniela, and was born several minutes before her twin brother Orion. She has two younger siblings, Riley and Farra, but Farra died of the measles when she was only a few years old, before Riley was born. Tahli and Orion spent much of their time either working with their father on their small farm, or helping their mother raise Riley. But when the twins were 15, their father was killed in an accident on the farm, so they were forced to take over running the farm so that their family could survive. But eventually the time came when Tahli was expected to marry and start a family of her own, but she chose not to, choosing instead to join the Red Brides, the caretakers of the Dark Beast, and that is where she has been ever since.

Tahli groaned softly, lifting a calloused hand to wipe sweat from a hot brow, beads of sweat trickling down her skin, into her eyes and she scowled, wiping furiously at her eyes. She loved the farm, she really did, but what she hated was being out in the heat of the day trying to carve into the sun burnt earth so that , when her brother returned from the next village over, they could plant the next seasons produce. The girl paused, taking a moment to catch her breath, and guzzle down several mouthfuls of cool stream water. " He should be back by now" The girl mused to herself as she capped the deer skin canteen that she had been drinking from, licking the last of the water from her lips before the sun could steal them from her as it stole water from the earth that the girl worked. She sighed, looking back over her shoulder to examine the fruits of her labour in the blazing sun, and she smiled, proud, knowing that she was almost dome for the day, knowing the sun would soon set, and the moon would rise, bringing the cool breeze from the east, a relief to her and her family. Tahli smiled slightly, before picking up her shovel, and getting back to work, waiting for the sound of horse hooves hitting the dirt, that signaled the homecoming of her twin brother.
