Personality

Malachi is a somewhat dark natured individual, though he wasnt always like this, he used to be a kind, innocent and loving young boy, but a lot has changed over the years. He is cold, even tempered, and somewhat indifferent, especially when it comes to using his poisons on the people he has been commanded to kill or on people who managed to make him hate them enough to end their life. He is loyal, loyal to those he trusts, loyal to the king that he has severed for years, but he can be quite closed off when he wants to be, and he is quite good at shutting off his own emotions, very rarely letting anyone see that something gets to him, perceiving it to be a weakness, especially with so many enemies, people who did not like the fact that he poisoned someone they cared for, or just people who hate his profession. He is talented, creative and quite intelligent and hardworking, he had to be to reach the rank he is now when he is only 23 years old. He is curious, inquisitive, and fascinated, always looking for opportunities to learn more than he already knows. He has a bit of a rivalry going on with Madame Nightshade, though he, personally, does not hold anything against her, but his King is certain that he is the better poisoner. He is usually quite patient, but at times will get annoyed if things move too slowly. HE doesnt overly care for his apprentices, but teaches them because his king requested it.

Background

Malachi was born the twin of Madame Nightshade, named Firan by his parents, but they were separated when they were both young, leading to Malachi having few and only very faint memories of his parents and his Twin Sister. He was taken from his home to the kingdom of Ethodonna. For years he was on the streets, but eventually he was taken in by an older man who taught him the art of toxins and poisons, which he, one day, over took his master. Over the years he worked on perfecting his art, eventually being summoned to the palace where he soon became the kings expert in toxins and poisons, choosing to take on a new name for he had long forgotten his original name, so he took the name Malachi Corin Hemlock, in respect and homage to his Craft.
