"Star are you sure you want me to stay back while you go fight?" I ask the blonde princess unsure.

"Oh come on Marco I can handle myself for a couple of days don't be such a worry wort" she says laughing. I only look more worried, latley there was a increase in monsters at her home world and they need everyone they can to fight them off. The queen that ran the kingdom most of the time even asked Star her wild daughter to help,she lifted her ban and everything.

For some reason I felt worried for the blonde girl who I had come to like. She was like a sister to me, always giving me advice on girls and helping me out whenever I needed it. I don't think I want her to be gone so soon.

"I could fight you know" I say displaying my muscle proudly making Star giggle more.

"Marco stop worrying so much, I'll be back before you know it" she says patting my head making me pout.

"Alright alright dint be such a sour candy drop" Star says rummaging through her luggage looking for something making me tilt my head. What was she looking for?

"Found it!" The girl says making me jump. Without a warning she tosses a pink bunny at me and I look at it akwardly.

"Wasent this Tom's rabbit?" I ask petting it subconsciously. Much to my amazement it does actually take some stress out.

"Yeah I sorta kinda took it from him after the whole ball incident " Star says putting on a innocent puppy dog face.

"So you stole his rabbit?" I ask looking down at the trembling bunny. Weird, it looked like it missed the fire demon. I don't know what though..Tom looked like the type of guy who would kick kittens just for the heck of it. If anything I would think the bunny would be happy to be in my arms.

"Hey we can talk about who stole what when I get back" Star says lifting her wand and before I can say another word a portal was made and she was gone. I only sigh and sit on my bed thinking.

I sometimes felt like a burden to her. Most of the time she was the one to save me while I just scream for help. For a guy I feel so helpless. Looking into the bunny rabbits fur my mind starts to wonder to the night of the Blood Moon Ball. In the heat of the moment I never really thought about Tom and his feelings,I just thought about saving Star from a guy who wanted to use her. I could never let that happen to Star she's to good of a person for Tom to be messing with.

"Meow" The bunny says making me raise my eyebrow questionable. Did the rabbit just meow like a cat?

"Ok then.." I say to myself not even bothering to question it. Since Star entered my life strange things keep on happening and I just try and adapt to them. If I don't I'm sure I'll slowly turn paranoid, letting every little detail that wasent normal get to me. Like how this bunny for instance was bow starting to purr.

"Its nornal..completely normal Marco" I say to myself continuing to look at the odd creature.

"I can't belive Tom always had you around I mean your comforting but not that much.." I mutter looking into its big eyes.

A loud cracking of the ground then interrupted me. The devil himself had shown up but this time without his dead horse.

"I think you have something that belongs to me" he says in a sing song voice the ever present smirk on his face while his multiple eyes examine me. I gulp. I knew I couldn't handle Tom on my own without Star and her own magic. Getting up I walk towards the demon holding the bunny out. It was his after all.

"H-here..sorry Star just threw him at me..her? " I look at the rabbit again not really knowing it's gender. It doesn't really matter any way, hopefully Tom will leave right after I give him his pet.

He doesn't. He just grabs it and smirks.

"I think a punishment is in order for those who steal~" he says teasingly and my eyes widen. Oh no.
