3rd Person P.O.V.

Tom and Jerry wake up in a jail cell. They both remembered what happened. An invasion occurred on Earth and some big orange gem by the name of Jasper knocked them both out.

Garnet was poofed, and Amethyst and Pearl were captured. They both don't know what happened to Steven. Jerry looked for ways for him to squeeze out of the cell and let Tom out so they both could look for Steven and his friends. 

The mouse had no luck finding a small gap to squeeze through. Tom touched the yellow forcefield that appeared to contain both of the furry creatures in this alien cell. He felt it pulsing through his finger and thought it would zap him, but was surprised when it didn't.

Tom walked right through it and Jerry did so, too. They both high-five each other and went to find Steven. However, they both gasped when they heard thundering steps approaching.

Tom grabbed Jerry and both of them hide in a different cell to prevent being caught in plain sight. Both of them just didn't realize that there's someone singing in the background until now.

"We can't leave yet! The whole point of coming here is to check on the Cluster!" Someone with an uptight attitude said. Tom and Jerry recognized that voice, it's Peridot, that green gem who looks like a chip. 

Someone punched the wall, causing Tom and Jerry to flinch. "STOP SINGING!" Both of them instantly knew who that was. It's Jasper. "Rose Quartz takes priority. Get back to the bridge and set a course to Homeworld."

Both of them know who Rose Quartz is, Steven's mother, but he has her gem. That was one of the things they noted about the entire story about Steven and the gems Steven told them when they first met. Right now, they're hiding in the cell and hoped Jasper wouldn't see them.

Once Jasper passed by, they both escaped the cell. They wonder how they're going to escape this ship. They ran to the main room where it seems to serve no other purpose other than to be a lounge room for gems to congregate while prisoners sit in their cells. 

Both of them looked around to find something that could help free the others and to escape the ship. Tom went to the hallway that leads to the pilot room. They both saw Peridot typing some commands on the futuristic keyboard. 

Jerry whispered in Tom's ear, hinting that they could cause Peridot to leave the pilot room. Tom wondered how they could make Peridot leave the pilot room. Jerry bites Tom's finger.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Tom screamed in agony as Jerry bit on Tom's finger as hard as the little mouse could.

Peridot heard the scream and left the pilot room to investigate the source of noise. Tom and Jerry hide by jumping up to the ceiling and Tom using his claws to stick onto the ceiling like Spiderman, with Jerry hanging on to Tom's tail. They both dropped to the ground silently behind Peridot and closed the door, locking her out.

"Hey!" Peridot screamed, banging on the door. "Jasper! This isn't funny!"

Both Tom and Jerry snickered mischievously, learning that Peridot misidentified them as her cold-hearted companion. They both lucked out by pressing the button that released the prisoners in their cells. But they both had a little fun by pressing random buttons in an irregular pattern.

But they both accidentally opened the door that Peridot was banging on. When they saw that Peridot was in the pilot room with them, they both let out a shriek.

"What the?!" Peridot exclaimed. "How'd you fur-balls get out?!" She used her limb-enhancers to form a laser gun. 

Both of them gasped loudly and ran away, barely dodging her lasers. After what looked like they got away, they ran into the one gem they did not want to see again, Jasper.

"Oh, great, how'd you get out?" Jasper groaned and tried reaching towards Tom to grab him, but he smacked her hand away. "Ooh, you want to resist?" Jasper smiled so evilly that both the cat and mouse let out a shudder. "Don't mind if I do."

Both of them gasped and slid underneath Jasper's legs to evade her. As Tom ran, Jerry climbed on his back to the top of his head and looked behind Tom to see that Jasper was chasing them. Jerry shrieked and pointed to a direction for Tom to go, in an attempt to lose Jasper. 

Unfortunately, Jasper saw Jerry's gesture and followed Tom. She grabbed Tom by his scruff and yanked him off the ground. Tom extended his claws and scratched the side of Jasper's face to get her to let go, but that only angered her.

Before Jasper could do anything, she got punched in the face by Garnet. "And that was for poofing us."

Jasper was hit so hard, she flew out of view. Both Tom and Jerry fell down. 

Garnet looked down at them. "Aw, you boys look hurt." She scooped them up in her arms and carried them over to the others.

The ship was about to blow, because Tom and Jerry accidentally pressed the self-destruct button when they were fooling around in the pilot room. Steven used one of his powers to form a bubble around everyone, which was himself, Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Tom and Jerry. Once the ship blew up, the bubble the gang was in floated them down to Earth safely. 

However, debris from the ship fell down to Earth with them, surrounding them with scrap from the ship. Steven released the barriers of the bubble and everyone was okay.

"You did it!" Pearl cheered Steven on. "You used your bubble effectively."

"Well, I wouldn't have been able to do that without the help of these two." Steven grabbed Tom and Jerry to hug them.

Both the cat and mouse hugged their owner with pride. However, someone rises from the debris, Jasper. Both Tom and Jerry blew raspberries in Jasper's direction.

"You cowards..." She said to the two animals. "You distracted me while someone snuck up behind me, also like a coward."

Again, the cat and mouse blew raspberries, feeling cocky and confident that Jasper wouldn't go near them with Steven and the gems at their support. Just when Jasper looked like she was about to charge for an attack, a giant water hand crushed her and poofed her. Garnet was quick to pick up Jasper's gem and bubble it.

The gem who used the water hand was Lapis. 

"Lapis!" Steven exclaimed happily. "You made it!"

Lapis smiled. "Of course, I wouldn't leave behind my beach summer fun buddy." She ruffled his hair. 

Both Tom and Jerry smiled that they didn't actually have to fight Jasper, because she definitely called their bluff.
