Tom finds out about a secret 14-year-old niece he never knew he had.

Tom liked to think he had a relatively normal family: His 51-year-old mother, 52-year-old father, his 31-year-old sister, two 20-year-old brothers and a 15-year-old brother.
You know about his brothers, so let's discuss his sister.
Hannah was born when their mother and father were 20 and 21. They didn't plan on it, but hey! Hannah had their father's brown hair but their mothers stunning green eyes. Hannah was 8 when Tom was born, 11 when Sam and Harry were born and 16 when Paddy was born.
Tom liked to have his family come to set and see him work; it gave him an odd sense of pride. Generally, only his oldest brothers came out to visit, but occasionally his parents and Paddy. Hannah never came out.
Hannah moved out of London when she turned 18 so she could be with her boyfriend.
He was moving to New Zealand.

Tom wasn't a very clingy child, but he adored Yn, so he was devastated when she was leaving. "Why are you leaving me?" he asked, his 8-year-old childish innocence destroying Hannah's heart. Hannah bent down and grabbed his hands, hugging him. "I'm not, ok? I'm just moving in with somebody else," That clearly wasn't the right thing to say, because Tom immediately started to cry. Hannah shushed him and took him over to the sofa, where they were quickly joined by 5-year-olds Sam and Harry and less-than-a-year-old Paddy.
Hannah was well loved by her siblings.
She sighed as she picked Paddy up with expertise. "You know how mummy and daddy had to move away from their mummies and daddies to live with each other?" The siblings nodded, "That's what I'm doing. I'm moving so I can live with my boyfriend." Sam was sucking his thumb, Tom was playing with her hair and Paddy was babbling nonsense. "Are you gonna weave us for'va?" Harry asked, looking up at her. Hannah's heart broke, "of course not!" Hannah yelled, shocked.
It took a while, but eventually, the boys were ok with her leaving.
Hannah (and her family which was her husband and little sister in law) visited on every single birthday, Easter, Christmas and anything special. She even came on her birthday. Hannah always stayed a week after or before including the date before she needed to go back for work.
Every two years, the family would go to Hannah's (massive) house where they would stay for a month.
Until she stopped going to theirs as often.
Hannah visited for the 16th birthdays, Christmas every 2 years and (apart from Paddy) the 18th birthdays and Tom's 21st. She even went to Tom's movie premiers with her now-husband.

Tom had rung Hannah up 2 weeks before the Spider-Man premiere to see if she wanted to come. When Hannah said she couldn't, Tom was heartbroken and pleaded with her to come. Hannah just apologized before hanging up.
Tom hadn't spoken to her since then. Well... not until Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Tom got a phone call from an unknown number somewhere towards New Zealand.
"Hello?" He asked. "Hello? Tom is that you?" A feminine voice rang out. Tom nearly dropped the call. "Hannah?" He asked. A sigh came from the other end, "Yeah, it's me. How are you?" Their conversation continued going for a good hour or two before Hannah confused Tom, "Hey, my husband won tickets to some Star Wars thing in Florida and he's going with his brother for the week. Are you still in Atlanta?" Tom froze, "How do you know about that?" He asked. Hannah sighed, "Just because we fell out, Tom, doesn't mean that I'm not checking in with mum and dad about you." Tom gulped, feeling guilty. "Uh... yeah, I'm still in Atlanta. I'll send you the address?" he asked. Hannah confirmed from the other end before a yell was heard, "Ok, I've got to go now, but I'll see you within the next 4 days?" Tom agreed and hung up the call, feeling happier than he had for a while.

True to her word, Hannah arrived... with a bang.
There was some yelling outside his trailer and Tom walked out to see who it was. Zendaya was yelling at Hannah. Tom walked over, yelling, "Whoa, whoa, whoa... what's going on here?" He asked, stepping in the middle.
"TOM!" A voice yelled from behind him. Tom whirled around to be tackled by another female. Zendaya growled and stepped forwards, but Hannah pointed a finger in her direction, "You hurt her and I'll fucking kill you, no hesitations." Tom stepped back with the female in his arms still. He pulled back, "Abigale?" He asked. Zendaya frowned and stared at Hannah. "Ok, who are you and why is she hugging my boyfriend?" She demanded. Hannah shivered in disgust, "Dude... she is my-"
"Niece," Tom said, kissing Abigale on the head. Zendaya gaped, "You never told me you had a niece!" Suddenly, her mood shifted a complete 180. "How old are you?" Zendaya asked, her voice much nicer now. "I'm 14," Abi said, starring Zendaya down. Zendaya nodded, "Sorry for thinking you were his secret girlfriend or something..." Abi nodded and retreated back into Hannah's arms.
Tom stared at the pair of them before a hurt expression crossed his face, "Is she your daughter? Or is she your 'little-sister-in-law' like you've told everyone? Because she looks way too much like you to not be related." Tom asked, voice borderline pissed. Hannah sighed and winced as if it physically pained her to explain. "I ended up pregnant with no money, disappointed parents, a boyfriend who didn't want the baby and for me to get an abortion, no job at the mere age of 17. I had nowhere to go, Tom." Hannah explained, caressing her daughter's hair. "Why didn't you stay?" Tom asked, his voice hurt. Hannah felt tears come to her eyes, "I guess I felt that I had a sort of... I dunno, responsibility?" Tom frowned and Hannah continued, "There was already limited space in the house, Tom. Sam and Harry bunked together, Paddy stayed with mum and dad and you and I had our own rooms. If I had my child growing up in the house as well, then where would everybody sleep?" Tom frowned. "I'm sorry I never told you... I - I was just in too much trouble with stuff and-"
"Stuff? What do you mean stuff?" Tom interpreted. Hannah smiled wetly. "You remember Tony?" She asked and Tom nodded. "Turns out he was a gambler. He used up all of our money and got us into significant debt, like... to the point where mum and dad were having to wire me money in every month to afford the very basics for my child." Tom frowned deeply, "You should've just asked me! I could've given you the money you needed to move away from him!" Hannah smiled again, "That's not your job. If anything, I'm to do that for you. Anyway, Tony found out that I had more money than him and beat me if I didn't give it to him." Tom gaped and turned to Abi, but Hannah spoke again, "He never laid a finger on her. I made sure of that." Tom sighed, feeling a weight he didn't know about, lift. "I lied about Florida, Tony died and left me with a shit tone of debt. The court awarded me the money when I went into court with it. I left New Zealand as quickly as I could." Tom frowned, "Where're you staying?" Tom was prepared to let Hannah have his apartment while he was away, but she replied with, "I'm staying with mum and dad until I can get back on my feet. It's not easy raising a child alone who is 17 years younger than you."

It took a while, but Hannah eventually scored a job as a script-writer for movies and TV shows for Disney, which scored her big money.
She paid for her daughter to have a great education in a great neighbourhood.
Hannah grew back with her family very quickly and now they live together, nice and happy.
