Caitlyn grew up to be a very beautiful young girl. She was successful in princess training and was loved by the kingdom, who were yearning for her ruling. Caitlyn was still the young girl who loved to run around though. When she wasn't training, which only covered up a total of 72 hours, 3 days, she was running around with Alison. Her dad didn't like it. He wanted her to grow up a perfect, prim, proper Queen. Her mum was exactly what she was growing into.

Caitlyn always made sure friends and family were put above everything and everyone else. Even before herself. Whilst she still looked after herself, she still did her own bed in the morning, still helped with baking and helped the maids with Alison. She still followed Kelly around and chatted to her. Kelly was now 56 years old and rather enjoyed being talked to.
Lily had unfortunately passed away when Caitlyn was 2 months shy of turning 11. Kelly had become Caitlyn's substitute motherly figure.

As Caitlyn still helped "those beneath her" her father was well aware of the situation. He tried to turn a blind eye, but when he found out about the cooking and cleaning, he went nuts.

~

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU'RE A PRINCESS! NOT A SLAVE!!" He roared at a defiant Caitlyn, who was staring her dad down. Caitlyn was now 13. "But, father, they too are people. They deserve a life!" Caitlyn tried to reason. "NO, CAITLYN! THEY ARE SLAVES TO THE RICH! DON'T BE SO NAIVE! YOU'RE JUST A SILLY IMMATURE BRAT!!" Caitlyn felt some tears fall from her eyes.

"NO! DON'T CALL HER A BRAT!" Caitlyn turned her head and saw 4 year old Alison glaring at her dad. "Alison, honey, don't get involved. This is a big girl matter."
"I am a big girl." Alison huffed. "No, you're not. You're a child." Her dad leered at Alison. "No! No, I'm not!" Suddenly, a hand flew out and smacked Alison across the face, hard. "Dad! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Caitlyn screamed as she flung herself over to where Alison was sobbing.

Alison immediately turned into her embrace and kept sobbing. Suddenly, her dad yelled and picked up her vase. He smashed her vase against the wall. Caitlyn covered Alison's body as the shards fell down upon her. She glanced up, through terrified eyes. Her father was inhaling deep breaths. "Caitlyn Madison, I'm sending you away. There's a nice boarding school in Kingston Upon-Themes."
"Father, please."
"No. That's it. You will learn to act like a princess. Only when you have learnt shall you be allowed to return."

Caitlyn stood somber outside her house. Her father walked over and Kelly followed behind, holding Alison on her hip. As soon as Alison saw her she scrambled to be let down and ran over to where Caitlyn was standing. Caitlyn fell on the floor and hugged her as they sobbed. King Peter came over and had the decency to look sad. "I realise, my daughter, I may have been rash in my decision. I may come to regret that. But, I hope that you can become a proper princess. Just like your mother."
"Don't bring mum into this." Caitlyn said, voice breaking. "Do you know, that Rebekah went to the same school as you are heading?" Caitlyn just stayed silent. Peter pulled her in for a hug. Once he had finished, Caitlyn drifted over to Kelly and gave her a very strong hug. When she pulled away, she ran straight to the carriage. As the carriage pulled away, she waved goodbye to her family.

Whilst she was away, the Kingdom fell into a state of sadness, longing for their princess to return.

News travels though, because not too soon after, Dominic and Tom, now 13, packed up their stuff and fled back to London.
