"Mom," I said, walking into her embrace. Nicola dropped her shopping bags and rushed to hug me. "Oh my god, I've not seen you since you were a baby! I tried so hard, but when your father moved to L.A, I lost contact with him."

"Mom, you don't have to explain. At least I know my real mom." We just hugged for ages... until a cough was heard. I turned my head. The guy in the middle sighed, and threw his hands to his sides. "Come on," He whined, "even my sister is taller than me." I smiled. "Who are you?" I asked, confused. "I'm Tom. This is Sam, Harry, Paddy, Haz, Tessa the dog and our dad, Dominic." I nodded and hugged each of them. "Wow. Now I have 8 siblings." Mom frowned and put her hands up in a 'Time out' gesture. "What??" She exclaimed. I laughed. "Ok, so, I have 3 British brothers... I guess. (They nod) And 1 American brother who is called Nathanial, plus 4 American sisters who are called; Diana, America, Eden and Maya."
"So, technically, we have 6 American siblings." Paddy said. I nodded. "I guess so."
"What do you do as a job?" Dominic asked. "Um... well, I've just finished my author's degree and my first major Photography project. I had to take photo's for the entire magazine. It included; Angelina Jolie, Zendaya, Reece Witherspoon, Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson and Hugh Jackman. And, my book is about to get published. It's called, ." They all looked impressed. "Wow. Have you ever acted?" Harry asked, to which I responded, "Not really. I've been an extra in a few films." Harry nodded. "Has anyone had dinner?" Nikki suddenly asked. "No." The chorus of voices rang out. "Hows about we go for a dinner? To celebrate your sister." They all agreed, while I tried to protest. "Nikki I couldn't possibly-"
"Nope. We are going for a dinner to celebrate you." I relented. "Ok, fine."


I think I'm going to end up loving this family. After all, they are my kin.
