"And you make them look good" he rested his hand on her thigh, "you should put your hair up," she rolled her eyes but pulled down the visor so she could do so "better Holland?" he quickly glanced over to her "much, now we're matching" she chuckled "what'd your parents say, by the way?" she shrugged "covered it up with my hair, told 'em the same thing i told Paddy, mum backed me up in front of my dad and brothers, but later gave me the sex talk" Tom laughed "hey.." he squeezed her thigh lightly "s'okay, my dad lectured me too" she pursed her lips then pulled out her phone, opening the camera app, looking at herself and making faces, "what you doing?" Tom asked "tryna take a cute picture" "you always look cute" he replied, stopping at a red light, y/n rolled her eyes, then an idea popped in her head. care fully, she leaned up to stand her phone up on the dash, she leaned her head on Toms shoulder as he smiled, continuing the drive "dawe, see cute picture, after parking the car, he looked down at her phone "you should post that" "you should post it" she fired back "oh wait.." she had a slightly confused face, just as Tom took a selfie with her "hey!" "i'll post this one instead" she pouted then Tom snuck another picture "stop!" she laughed, covering her face "you're so cutee" Tom said in a sing song voice, snapping picture after picture. "Wow, my feeds gonna look great" he said after getting out and opening y/ns door for her "fine, you post those i'm posting this one." he wrapped an arm around her, then kissed her forehead. "I'm gonna go talk to the boys real quick yeah?" she nodded, putting her locker code in.
"Hey Tom.." all the boys smirked, looking at the hickey y/n had left "so did you..-" Tom shook hsi head "they haven't paid you in a while, whens the last time you went on a date?" Toms cheeks turned a light shade of pink "few days ago, been letting them recharge for a bit" he replied, putting on a 'i don't care' face in front of the boys "nd you let her give you.." he shrugged "so?" he turned his attention back to y/n who just finished with her locker, "see you 'roud guys" Tom mumbled, before jogging off to y/n.
At lunch, Chris pointed out her hickeys in disgust "the hell are those?" Tom smirked "what'd they look like" Chris shook his head "you guys have barely been dating for two months and you already gave it up to him y/n," he scoffed, " i don't know what happened to you, but you're making a big mistake, you know how he is with girls, he'll do the same to you" her eyes casted down to her hands on her lap, she wanted to defend him, and to defend herself, but he was right, she knew exactly how Tom had treated girls in the past, but she's different right? She has to be. "y/n.." Tom whispered, carefully taking her hand into his own and leading her to get up so they can talk in private.
"Hey..." Tom lifted her head and saw a sight that broke his heart; she had tears running down her cheeks and her bottom lip trembling "hey, love" he wrapped his arms around her tightly as she sobbed into his shirt. When she was slightly calmed down, Tom sat them down on the ground, taking both her hands in his, "look, what Chris said..i" he sighed "i know, that you know how i am--how i was, but you.. You're different y/f/n y/m/n, you're..you're you, and i want to change for you" he bit his lip then continued "and you and i know that we didn't do it, and i'll.. I can... i can wait until you're ready for that, i'll wait forever, hell we don't even need to if you aren't ready" Tom was holding back tears himself

"I'm ready to change for you" I'm ready to call off the bet, because i love you.

"I.." she couldn't speak so instead, she pulled him closer and they sat like that until they heard the warning bell "we should go.." he nodded, lifting the both of them up. "I'll pick you up from class later okay?" Tom wiped away the remaining tears, cupping her cheeks, she nodded, leaning into his touch, brushing her lips against his fingers, "I'll see you later" she mumbled, standing on her tiptoes to place a small lingering kiss on his lips, after pulling away, she made her way to class, every now and then, looking back at the boy who now had a growing smile upon his lips.
Tom finally walked into class, the smile on his face was the biggest both Jacob and Harrison has ever seen on him "haven't seen you smile this big since we were kids and y/n said she would be your first girlfriend" Tom blushed and lowered his voice "i wanna call off the bet" Harrison and Jacob frowned "but you just started the second mon-" Tom shook his head "hear me out, i wanna call it off because i..." he sighed happily "i think i'm falling for her all over again.." Jacob and Harrison smiled widely "hell yeah man!"
