so i have decided that this WILL be a series.. heres the full part one babes

humans had a curfew, 11:00pm. if a human was still out past 11, well..they're on their own.

y/n knew this, but of course, her curiosity took over.

when y/n was younger, her grandmother would tell her stories about how and when she found her soulmate

"grandma! can you tell me the story about how you and grandpa met again please!" the older woman chuckled "of course," she told y/n about meeting her grandfather under the night sky, remembering how at 11 o'clock, the stars were shining brightly, and how her grandfather was one of the first to notice the times they came out and the first to kill one..one of those monsters, then later seeing the small star tattoo fill with colour "wow i wish i meet my soulmate under the stars at 11 too!" her grandmother sighed "oh y/n.. you know the rules.." the little girl huffed "no being outside past 11"

now that she's 18, she decided to go out just before 11, maybe then she'll find her soulmate as well. maybe she'll see her rose fill with such vibrant colours that it would scare away the monster.

see, for humans, most of the time would meet their soulmates between the ages of 12 and 17, all her friends were beginning to think that maybe y/n soulmate was killed by one of them.

"y/n, please dont go" Denise, one of y/n's best friend was saying "seriously y/n, what if you get hurt..or worse" Bella, her other best friend "what? get expelled? yeah i don't think so" y/n sighed "oh come off it! just because your parents and grandparents are on holiday! what if they come back and you die! what are we supposed to tell them? 'sorry we let your daughter out after 11, we tried though!' i don't-" Denise groaned as y/n unlocked the door "don't worry 'bout me. now i'll be back in the morning okay?" Bella sighed "okay let's say you make it through the night, but you meet one while coming back-"

"what? they going to sparkle me to death?" y/n grinned, causing both her friends to giggle, then quickly putting on a serious face. y/n sighed "here," she tossed them each a walkie talkie "keep in touch yeah?" then stepped out the door.

"how is it out there?" Bella asked through the walkie talkie "its..quiet" y/n mumbled back, "but its beautiful, i wish i could come out more" there was silence on the other end "can you take a picture?" y/n chuckled "sure" taking out her phone and quickly taking a picture of the night sky, with out the street laps on. "i'll show it to you when i come back home" she whispered. "alright, please be careful" y/n scoffed "i always a-" her phone went off "you idiot!" both Denise and Bella yelled.

her parents were calling her phone, and just y/n's luck, she forgot to turn off the sound "oh fuck.." she saw one..two.. three..no, four. she saw four shadows around her "nowhere to run" one of the shadows said "guys i-" the walkie was snatched from her hand and was crushed "please.." she mumbled "you should really listen to the rules in this town sweetheart" one of the taller shadows said, about to grab her "wait Sam stop!" he groaned "what is it Harry?!"

"Tom, its the same one as yours"

"i can see that Paddy"

she was quickly picked up and was now being carried by the one with the same tattoo "please don't hurt me!" she cried "shut up" he mumbled "i--" "i said shut up! we don't want to attract any more attention, your stupid phone and walkie talkie did enough" she quickly nodded then shut her mouth until she was dropped "ow! where am i?"

"boys?" a woman came out "whos this?"

"oi! Tom found me dinner!oh and look shes a pretty one" a boy with blond hair came out from behind her limping, 'Tom' hissed at him "why did you bring a human here Tom, you know her scent alone could attract the others" he nodded then bit his opposite arm offering it to y/n "what do you--"

"what?!" Tom sighed "it'll mask your scent" "would i..you..you know.." he shook his head, then pushed his arm closer to her face she bit her lip hesitating, then brought his arm to her mouth, and sucked.

"now, care to explain why shes here?" he sighed then lifted the other sleeve and taking the girls arm to show the woman their matching tattoos "ouch!.hey i'm still a human and i bruise easily!" y/n said, pulling her arm back from him, and rubbing gently where has grip once was, and sure enough, purple marks were fading in.

"this can't be.. this...oh Tom!" the woman wrapped her arms around him, then around the girl "i'm Nicola, but you can call me Nikki, or mum, that'll work too!-" "mum" Tom cut in "i don't even know her name!"

the blond male chuckled "and yet you're still very protective"

"yeah well she isn't food Harrison" Tom muttered "what is your name?" the what seems the youngest asked "i'm uh..i'm y/n" he smiled up at her "i'm Paddy" y/n never thought she'd be in this situation, "come on, let's get you all inside, you've been out for far too long and" "erm..do you by any chance have the time?." y/n asked "darling, it's almost..sunrise" y/n was shocked, how long was she really clinging to him? and how far from home is she?

"come on, you can watch it from my room, with us, its really pretty" Nikki and all the boys went into the house, all apart from Tom "we won't hurt you" he said "you already did" she mumbled, looking down at her arm where the purple marks were more prominent "sorry.. i.. sorry. lets just uh..lets go inside okay?" he put his hand at the small of her back and lead her in. "out" he mumble to the boys who were sitting on- assumingly Toms bed "oh come on mate! your room has the best view!" the blonde one said "oh, and sorry for thinking you were food, i'm Harrison by the way." he extended his arm to her "y/n" Tom sighed "alright, fine, we'll do introductions, that one is Sam" he pointed to one that was waving "and Thats Harry, the smallest one-" "i'm not that small!" Tom rolled his eyes but smiled "the smallest one is Paddy, but you two already talked, now, get out" all the boys said some inaudible things but made their way out "come on" he nodded towards the balcony "ar-aren't you going to.." he raised an eyebrow and smirked "to what?." y/n shrugged "i don't know.. like sparkle or die or something" this time, Tom full on laughed "no,no all the movies and tv shows you humans watch are bullshit, i don't know who started that, we can go out any day, any time" confusion filled her "then.. why do we have a curfew?" the boy shrugged "more fun when the food tries to run away" she shuttered. "only joking.. my dad made a deal with this guy where we would eat animals while the sun was out, but thats not our diet so they compromised" she nodded "what if your dad.." he shook his head "he won't touch you.. no one will" "not even..not even you?" he shrugged "nah..not unless you like it rough" her eyes widened, causing another chuckle from Tom "only joking love..wait hold on" she glanced down at her feet "have you ever?." she shook her head "oh? why not? i mean you're quite attractive, and" she chuckled "okay first, you're only saying that because we're soulmates and second, no guy has ever had a liking to me" she took a seat on one of the chairs on the balcony "uh firstly, Haz thought you were cute, and second, humans must be blind or you're too blind to see that they're all falling to your feet but then again thats good because you're made for me" she chuckled "have you ever? with other..erm vampires?. or any other human" she bit her lip "i.. would like to say no but.." she couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, "do you uh..do you have a phone i can borrow? you guys kinda broke mine.." he nodded "here"

"hello-?" "Y/N? IS THAT YOU?" "yeah its me-" "YOU FUCKING IDIOT ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Denise screamed through the phone "i'm okay and i'm not one of them, i'm still..alive.oh! and i found my soulmate"

"theres another idiot who went out past curfew?" Bella asked "no..uh.. hes"

"who are you?" y/n stopped in her tracks "uh..i..erm.."

"Dad!" Tom pushed y/n back into his room and shut the door "i didn't even realize i was walking around.." she mumbled into the phone "y/n.. where are you?" she bit her lip "my uh..my soulmates house" "why are you-- holy shit he's one of them isn't he?" silence "OH MY GOD HE IS!" Tom walked in, slamming the door "i gotta go guys" y/n didn't wait for a response before hanging up, she felt a mental pull "whats wrong?" she asked sitting next to him "dad thinks i'm bullshitting this and now he's interrogating my brothers and i had no food so--..what are you doing" she didn't know what she was doing either

"i..uh.." she shrugged then used her eyes to point to her arm "i can't-" "you said you didn't eat and you being frustrated is making me frustrated and i think its some type of soulmate thing" Tom hesitated but carefully took her arm then looked her in the eyes for confirmation, to which she nodded. she didn't know what she was feeling, but it wasn't pain, all the stories shes ever heard.. they all had said that a vampires sucking your blood would be painful, so painful that you wouldn't die from blood loss but the pain.

and yet she had felt none.

"did..did that hurt?" Tom questioned, wiping his mouth with his arm while carefully looking at her arm, making sure she was okay "n..no.. i felt no pain at all actually.." Tom smiled at her response and was about to talk again until

three hard knocks at the door "THOMAS"
