A/n- Hello, guys. I decided to write this since Spider-Man: Homecoming is so freaking soon. I'm going to see it on the 7th in 3D so I'm really excited!!!

"Hey" Peter said as he walked towards Y/n with Ned beside him. Y/n was just getting her Science book out of her locker. She smiled at the both of them as they then were in front of her.

"Look, there's Liz!" Ned nudged Peter who then looked at her. Y/n rolled her eyes and felt her heart ache a little. "She's so beautiful today." Peter said dreamily basically devouring her with his eyes. Ned doing the same.

"I heard Flash asked her to homecoming and she said yes." Ned said sadly. "What?! I was gonna ask her." Peter said angry and then finally took his eyes away from her. "Yea, i'm sure she would have said yes." Y/n said jokingly.

Peter gave her a death stare, Y/n put her hands up with surrender. "I need to find a way to make her jealous." Peter said thinking and then he got an idea. Peter looked at Ned and Ned nodded knowingly. They both then looked at Y/n.

Y/n then looked at the two of them. "Idk what you two are thinking but I'm not being apart of it." She said and tried to walk away. Peter then grabbed her wrist and twisted her around and into his arms.

Y/n felt breathless as Peter was an inch from her face. "You're going to homecoming with me." He said smiling. Her eyes widened and pushed him away. "What?!" She exclaimed and Peter smirked.

"It's to make Liz jealous." Ned said and Peter gave him a high five. Y/n's heart ached again and she couldn't believe what was happening.

"Please do this for me!" Peter said and grabbed her hand. She smiled internally at how soft his hand was. "Fine." She said sadly and Peter pulled her into a hug. "Thank you so much!!" He said and rubbed her back. She smiled a little, "Operation: Make Liz jealous is a go!" Ned exclaimed.

-Friday night-

Peter was going to be picking up Y/n at 8 and it was 7:50. So, Y/n was scrambling around to look for her shoes. She finally found them and put them on. She heard the door bell and her mom answer. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled at the sight.

She grabbed her little purse and headed downstairs. "Oh, there she is." She heard her mom say. Her mom and Peter were looking up at her as she walked down. Peter was wearing a black tux with a white flower pinned to it.

She was finally at the bottom and smiled at her mom. "You look so pretty." Her mom exclaimed and took a quick picture. Y/n then looked over to Peter who looked at her amazed. "Y-you look beautiful." He said nervously. Y/n's heart did a little dance as she blushed.

"Ok, pictures!" Y/n's mom exclaimed and pushed them two together. Peter put his arm around Y/n's waist and they both smiled. "Cute!" Y/n's mom said and put the camera away.

"Ok, we should probably go." Peter said and Y/n nodded. "Have fun!" Her mom called after them as they headed towards Peter's car. Y/n waved to her mom and got in the passenger seat. Then they were off.

Y/n and Peter walked into the gym that was bumping music. "Y/n, Peter!" Ned said and walked over in a tux. Y/n smiled at him, "Hey." Peter said and they began talking about the plan.

Y/n walked over to get herself some punch. She looked over and saw Liz and Flash dancing on the dance floor. Liz looked so amazing in her dress and Y/n felt like she looked ridiculous. Y/n then felt someone grab her hand and looked over.

Peter was holding her hand. Y/n felt blood rush up to her cheeks. "Wanna dance?" He asked and she nodded. They walked over to the dance floor hand in hand.

Y/n put her arms around his neck and he put his around her waist. They swayed side to side and stared into each other's eyes. It felt so real. But it was all an act.

Peter then came close to her ear and whispered, "You're doing great." Y/n then smiled even though she felt worse on the inside. She just knew she would have to just enjoy it while it lasted.

"Peter." Y/n heard a voice say, it was Liz. Peter let go of her waist and she let go of his neck. She then felt a little sad at the lost of warmth.

Peter then looked at Liz who then looked at him. "Yea?" He asked and Liz smiled at him. "Can I dance with you?" She asked and Peter's eyes widened. "Aren't you with Flash?" Peter asked and Liz nodded.

"But, I just want one dance with you." She said and Peter was filled with joy. Y/n then felt some tears well up in her eyes. "I'll just leave you two alone." Y/n said and gave Peter a smile.

She walked away to get some more punch. As she sipped she looked over and saw Liz and Peter dancing. He looked so happy. Ned then came up to Y/n, "Are you okay?" He asked. Y/n's eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean?" She asked, Ned smiled at her. "I know you like him. I can see it's killing you seeing them together." Ned said and Y/n blushed.

Peter and Liz swayed together and Y/n couldn't help but think how cute they looked together. She sighed and thought to herself that this was for the best.

About a week later, Liz and Flash broke up and she started dating Peter. Y/n was beyond jealous of how cute they were. She felt so sad every time she would see them together.

Peter and Liz were laughing together as Y/n watched them with Ned. "You need to tell him." Ned said and Y/n shook her head. "No way." She sighed and looked at the two.

But, something happened. Liz had told Y/n to meet her after class near the library. So she went to library and waited for her. Liz then came and smiled at Y/n. Y/n slowly smiled back and wondered to herself what this was about.

"So, you're probably wondering why I'm here." Liz said and Y/n nodded. "Well, it's about Peter. I just broke up with him..." Liz said and Y/n's eyes widened.

"Why?! He's a great guy why would you do that?!" Y/n exclaimed clearly mad. "Because he's in love with you." Y/n's heart then pounded hard.

"What...." She whispered and Liz smiled at her. "When we were together he would just not stop talking about you. Also, how great you are." She sighed. Y/n blushed and Liz touched her shoulder.

"You guys are meant for each other. You should tell him how you feel." Liz smiled and Y/n's heart raced quicker. "I will! Thank you!" She exclaimed and Y/n ran away to find Peter.

She knew he would still be at school studying somewhere. She then saw him sitting under a tree with his math book. He was sitting with Ned and Michelle.

Y/n smiled as she slowly walked towards them. "Hey." She said and they all looked up. "Hey Y/n, What are you doing here?" Ned asked and Y/n smiled at him and winked. Ned's eyebrows furrowed, "Peter, Can I talk to you?" Y/n asked.

Peter nodded and walked away with her to a private area. She grabbed his hand and Peter looked confused. "Peter....I'm so sorry about Liz and you." She said and Peter sighed. "It's ok. Honestly, I don't think we connected that well." He said and squeezed her hand.

"Well....I need to tell you something." Y/n said and gulped a little. Peter nodded, "I like you. I have for a while now. It killed me when I saw you with Liz." Y/n said and closed her eyes. She felt a little weight lift off her shoulders.

She then felt something soft on her lips, she opened her eyes and Peter was kissing her. She closed her eyes and brought him closer to her. He pulled away and smiled at her. "I like you too. I just didn't realize it until now." He blushed and she smiled at the sight.

They both then heard some clapping. They looked over and Ned and Michelle were clapping and laughing. Peter and Y/n blushed as Ned and Michelle whooped and hollered.
