You were scrolling through your phone, awaiting for sleep to come over you, when you hear grunts and thumps outside your window.

Yelping, you toss your phone onto your bed and slowly stand up. On your feet, someone on the other side popped itself up and you screamed, immediately covering your mouth so you wouldn't wake your parents.

The person then fell back down on your balcony outside, groaning and moaning. Your heart was racing so fast from fright that you couldn't believe yourself when you started walking to your balcony door.

Once you opened the door, letting the cold New York air into your room, you peeked your head outside. From the dim light, you saw red and blue. You gasped at the person lying on the ground in front of you.

Spider-Man was on his back, holding his side. You walked up to the vigilante and saw his chest rising and falling.

"Oh my god." You whispered to yourself. Going to Spider-Man's shoulders, you helped him stand up. Then, you led him inside your apartment.

You didn't know how or why Spider-Man would end up in your presence at this time of night, but that question didn't matter. The only thing you could do was at least tend to his wounds.

You put Spider-Man on the floor against your bed. He still held his side, tossing his head backwards onto the edge of your bed. Turning on your lights, you squinted a little, now seeing more clearly.

You knelt by the hero, and looked at him softly. You saw the expression of his eyes widen and you gave a friendly smile.

"I'm gonna have to look at your torso." You whisper quietly, carefully placing one of your hands on top of the one holding his side.

Slowly, but surely, you grabbed the red-gloved hand and drew it away from Spider-Man's side. You were met with three red gashes, each of them oozing sticky blood.

"I'll be right back." You patted Spider-Man's knee as you pushed yourself up to stand.

You walked to your bathroom and took two hand towels from your cabinet and some gauze you somehow still had from years ago. You also found those long bandages you'd wrap around to hold the gauze, a pair of scissors, and rubbing alcohol.

Turning on your sink, you let cold water run through one of the towels, completely soaking it and then wringing it of excess water. Then you take all of your other things and bring it into your bedroom.

When you walked in, Spider-Man was looking around your room like it seemed familiar to him. You ignored his strange behavior and knelt back next to the side wounds.

"Uhm.." You pursed your lip as you folded the wet towel. "I'm gonna need you t-to take off your suit."

Spider-Man looked at you sharply, but you added, "Y-you can leave the mask on. I just need to clean you up."

Spider-Man said nothing, but he gulped as he pressed his chest and the suit became baggy and limp. His mask did the same, but it was kept on his head.

Starting to feel really awkward, you pull down the red and blue suit to reveal the three deep cuts. You left the suit to hang on his waist.

Then you began your work, trying so hard to concentrate on the wounds instead of the fucking six pack in front of you. Taking the wet cloth, you reach for his side.

Spider-Man winced and hissed as the sudden pressure. "Sorry, sorry." You breath, trying to be more gentle with cleaning the blood.

Now it was time for the alcohol. You took a deep breath, opening the rubbing alcohol bottle and pouring the liquid on the dry towel.

"Okay, hold your breath." Even you winced yourself as you brought the towel closer and closer to the cuts. Spider-Man inhaled and held his breath as you passed the towel in the direction of the cut.

Spider-Man slipped out a whimper as you continued to trace the cuts with the towel. "Hold it. Almost done." You encourage as you picked up some gauze with your other hand.

After a couple more swipes, you quickly replaced the towel with the dry gauze, Spider-Man letting go of the breath he was holding. Dropping the towel, you added more gauze to the clean wounds. Once the cuts were covered and blood stopped seeping through the multiple layers of cloth, you took the long bandage.

Unrolling it, you put one end in the middle of Spider-Man's chest, feeling the curve of his muscles as you trace the bandage to go around his body. You make sure the bandage is holding the gauze so you wrap it around him a couple times. When you think he's bandaged enough, you make the bandage go back to where you started.

Since you didn't have a clip, you dug for the other end of the bandage and let it peek out from under the layers. Then you grabbed your scissors and cut off the extra roll. Taking both ends of the bandage, you tied them together, securing the bandage.

"Okay, good? Comfortable?" You patted the knot you just made on Spider-Man's chest. He nodded, his floppy mask following in the direction of his head.

"Thank you." Spider-Man finally spoke. His voice sounded groggy and dry. Somehow, the pitch of his voice sounded familiar.

"Do you want water?" Spider-Man shook his head. "I should get going." You nodded, standing up while holding out a hand to the hero.

Spider-Man took your hand and you pulled him up. He groaned a little. Then he put back on his suit and pressed the spider on his chest, making the suit skin tight.

"Again, thanks." Spider-Man looked over his shoulder as he was about to enter your balcony.

"No problem." You shrugged nonchalantly. Spider-Man saluted you before closing your balcony door.

Once he was gone, you turned to your bed and looked at the stuff you used to clean up the blood. Then it all hit you.

"Wait... what just happened?!"
