Zhan walked to Cheng's office as he wanted to discuss Yibo's case and also wanted to talk to Cheng about Mia and what she said to him.

Since Cheng always comes late at home and Zhan doesn't want to talk in front of their parents about this.

So he came to the room and was about to open the door but the door opened on it's own and Haoxuan walked out, they nearly bumped into each other.

"Oh Mr. Xiao."

Zhan smiled, "oh Mr. P.I. How are you?"

"I am fine."

Seeing Haoxuan over here Zhan asked, "is there any other investigation?"

Haoxuan smiled, "Oh no, no, I just came to meet him, as a friend."

"I didn't know you were his friend."

"We go way back, ten years to be exact."

"Woah, that long? how did you guys become friends?"

Haoxuan smiled, "I was a part of a small local gang and lived in slums, one day I just had some people bullying your brother... so helped him and the rest was history.

Your brother has helped me a lot, he paid my mother's medical fees I said that I wanted to pay him back somehow he asked me to choose a profession that would help him."

Zhan was amused to hear this, "that's great."

"By the way what are you here for?"

"Oh, there were some things I wanted to talk about with him. Is he in?"

"Oh no, he is on a date."

"I see" Zhan spoke and sighed, "No problem."

"I should leave now," Haoxuan said and left after saying farewell to Zhan.

Zhan sighed and walked inside the office, he wanted to call Cheng but then he didn't want to ruin his perfect date with Ziyi.

Not knowing what to do Zhan decided to go back however before leaving his eyes fell on something red sticking out from the drawer of Cheng's table.

Now Zhan knew that Cheng absolutely hated when anyone touched his stuff without his permission and would go absolutely berserk if one his work files are touched.

But right now Zhan flushed all those thoughts and picked the file and it was the folder that Mia had told him about a red folder with a black dot.

So Zhan opened the file and went through the contents and what he saw nearly made him faint from horror and terror. As his hands trembled and his body shook violently.

That day when Zhan came home he was shaken to the core and didn't talk to anyone he just ran to Cheng's room and didn't find him there.

His parents asked, "Zhan what's wrong?"

However Zhan just looked at them and for some reason, something was different vert different about Zhan the way he looked at his parents was like he was looking at strangers.

And his mother tried to touch his hand but moved back, which shocked her and Feng asked, "What's wrong?"

Zhan licked his lips and clenched his fist, "where is Cheng?"

His parents looked at each other, "he isn't home yet."

Feng spoke, "Did that brat do something again! Oh my god, did you guys fight or what?"

Zhan looked at his father with a blank face and empty eyes before he said, "it's nothing." he walked back to his room where Yibo was already waiting for fo him, "welcome back, by the way, I want to talk to you, I am actually going back to work from tomorrow how was you-"

Yibo stopped when he saw Zhan's look so pale as he took out his phone and tried to call Cjeng over and over again but the latter did not pick up.

Zhan kept the file on the table and tried again and again.

"FUCK! WHY IS NOT ANSWERING!" Zhan yelled and threw his phone on the ground while Yibo flinched and was shocked to see this outburst.

Zhan sat on the bed with his head in his hands, and Yibo slowly went near him and sat beside him, "what happened?"

Zhan didn't say anything but he looked so shaken while Yibo went to the table and picked up the folder however before he can open it Zhan snatched it from him startling him.

Zhan looked at him and forced himself to smile before he said, "it's nothing."

"Is this regarding my case or something?"

Zhan shook his head, "No, absolutely not this has nothing to do with you."

"Then what is it?"

Zhan gently caressed his head and kissed him on the lips, "it's nothing, it's something I will discuss with Cheng first it's regarding my company."

Yibo looked at him and nodded, "you will tell me right?"

"I will tell you everything, I will not hide anything from you."

Zhan said as he kept the file in a safe in the almirah before taking a shower and going to bed with Yibo.

They cuddled each other before Yibo fell asleep however Zhan wasn't able to sleep for the whole night.

So many things.

And Cheng knew about it?

For how long? Since when?

So that day Cheng when his grandfather really died Cheng was indeed there.

But why does Cheng has this file? And so much evidence.

Cheng was the quiet kid from the start, the calm and mature individual, sometimes he was even called the creep by others because he was always calm and not bothered by anything or anyone.

All those years, was all this going inside his mind?

Zhan forgot but Cheng remembered everything.

And suddenly sat up in bed with anxiety, was Cheng looking for Yara and what is he going to do if he finds her?

File a case against her?

Zhan closed his eyes as he thought about all this while Yibo also opened his eyes slightly and looked at Zhan.

Meanwhile, Cheng aggressively knocked on a door and Haoxuan opened it.

He moved aside and let Cheng in, Cheng sat on a sofa and Haoxuan gave him a glass of water before he sat on the other sofa.

Cheng was holding the glass but didn't drink the water.

"So what are you planning to do?" Haoxuan asked.

Cheng laughed he looked genuinely happy after all years and years of effort had paid off, "just what I thought off from the very beginning..." he then looked at Hoxuan with a smile, "You are going to help me right?"

Haoxuan looked down before he nodded, Cheng had saved his mother and also paid for his studies moreover, his gang was also funded by Cheng, and because of Cheng they got many other investors. And Haoxuan's gang was like his family and Cheng saved it.

It doesn't matter if Cheng did all this for his own selfish purpose, Hoaxuan understood that Cheng only wanted a loyal dog and loyal people and the best way for that was to do them such a huge favor that it would put them in his debt forever.

Cheng smiled, "if everything goes just like how I imagined then I will free you from this debt I promise... so what were you able to gather?"

Haoxuan got up and picked the file before throwing it before Cheng, "Yara, now goes by the name of Lilith, she also has a son with Ziyi's father Anthony named Kevin.

Kevin is spoiled with multiple accounts of charges on him, like sexual assault and bullying, bribery, and many more but his rich father and mother always save him."

Cheng saw a photo of Kevin and Yara also known as Lilith happily posing for the camera, "she seems to love her son a lot."

Haoxuan nodded, and Cheng leaned on the sofa and laughed, "then kill him first... I would love to see her reaction. I have waited twenty years for this... the sooner everything is done the better because I can't wait to see her miserable."

Haoxuan asked, "how would you like for him to be killed?"

"I want him to be crushed by a truck... and don't worry I will help the truck driver escape."

"Consider it done, ever since Kevin has entered the city all he does is partying and drugs and alcohol nothing more."

"Good."

"And what do you plan to do with Yara?"

"Oh I will deal with her personally."

The next morning Zhan left early, after giving a good bey kiss to Yibo, Cheng didn't come home for the whole night.

While Yibo knew that something was wrong decided to wait for Zhan to tell him everything on his own.

So he also left.

Once he reached the hospital he went to meet Ziyi first, after his accident both of them reconciled and Yibo also apologized for his wrongdoings and Ziyi forgave him.

Today she looked rather happy and cheerful, and Yibo can't help but ask, "what's making you smile like that?"

Ziyi giggled, " I finally had a perfect date with my dream guy and Yibo he was soo gentlemanly and so calm and collected, eeehhhhh oh my god I am going to faint!" she said as she jumped on her seat while Yibo laughed.

"I need the details, did you guys kiss?"

"Oh yes we did and he is good at that as well! But you know he lost his wallet as well and looked so embarrassed about that like a child!"

Yibo laughed with her before he looked at her computer, "What are you doing?"

"Oh, he told me that he was born in this hospital and me being the stalker after stalking his I.g, Facebook, Twitter, and also TikTok I thought about why not do this as well!"

"So you are looking for his files?"

Ziyi nodded, "aren't you curious as well Zhan must has been born here as well."

Yibo smiled when he thought as Ziyi opened the files while browsing her but when she clicked on the Xiao family folder and browsed through it, confusion covered her face.

"Hey, Yibo..."

"Hm..."

"How many children does the Xiao family has?"

Yibo thought a little, "three."

"You said your father-in-law has only one sister right?"

"Yeah."

"What's her name?"

"Nara."

"Then who the fuck is this Xiao Yara and it also that she also had a child named Micah."

Yibo frowned before he also went to check up on himself and he did find Yara's name and her child's name Micah but what was worse.

It says that this child was born in the same months as Zhan and Cheng, only eight days before the twins.

Yibo was shocked as well, "Nobody ever mentioned this... at Zhan's house..."

Both Yibo and Ziyi ran out but Yibo was ahead of Ziyi and when he saw the person who was bought in the hospital he stopped at his place in shock, this person was covered in blood.

Yibo ran to him and saw his heart beating, "Let's take him to the operation theatre hurry!"
