"How much more time are you going to take!" Cheng asked as he banged his hand on the table as glared at Haoxuan, who was happily licking his lollipop.

While Cheng sat down on his chair as he kept on staring at the red folder with a black dot on it.

"Mr. Xiao you are asking something impossible. At this point, this case is twenty years old, and your parents used all their resources to bury it, no media coverage, and even the police files have nothing!

You weren't even able to give me one proper photo of her, since your parents destroyed it, how am I supposed to find them? What's the chance that they are even alive in this time?"

"Then I want the address of their grave, image of their dead body anything that proves that she is dead!"

Haoxuan sighed, "And what are you going to do if you find them? Cleary your parents will not allow you to file a case since that will 'ruin' their reputation and once the family secret is out it will cause an uproar."

Cheng didn't reply he just stared at the folder with cold and angry eyes while clenching his fists tightly, "just do what you are told Hoaxuan leave the rest to me, keep on looking till you find anything.

I want the whereabouts of Yara. And if she is dead I want her death certificate or the location of her grave."

He said and suddenly his phone chimed showing a notification from Ziyi.

'Be on time today.'

Cheng sighed when he saw that and sighed before he looked at Haoxuan who looked back at him, "Mr. Xiao, you know that I am trying my level best."

Cheng got up and grabbed his car keys, "I know you are but try harder Haoxuan."

Haoxuan nodded, "I will, I am not going to sit till I find something."

"Good."

Cheng said and carelessly tossed the folder in his drawer and walked out of there.

He sat in his black Porsche and drove to Ziyi's house.

Meanwhile, Ziyi was well dressed for today, she wore a lovely baby pink sleeveless dress with maroon floral designs on it and pink shoes to setting her hair.

And was all set to leave, she picked up her white handbag and kept her wallet and phone, and soon she received a text from Cheng saying that he was there.

Ziyi smiled as she walked out however before she can step outside she received a text from her father saying that he and others were in the town.

She rolled her eyes and didn't read further than that, she walked towards Cheng's car with a smile, Cheng smiled as he waited for her near his car and opened the passenger seat door for her, "have a seat, my lady."

Ziyi giggled, "Thank you, my lord."

She sat and sat on the passenger seat while Cheng close the door and then sat on the driver's seat, "so where to?"

Ziyi thought, "um... anywhere you want."

"Movies?"

"Nah, boring." she said, and then said, "Amusement park?"

"Nope too crowded. Park?"

"Super-duper boring... book store."

"Nope too silent." Cheng said and then smiled, "I have an idea... just sit back trust me."

"Okay then," Ziyi said and sat quietly, she then received a call from someone but didn't bother to pick up.

Cheng noticed that "An ex- or something?"

Ziyi smiled, "My father, apparently he is back in the country and wants to mee his daughter that he left ten years ago... to 'rot' here."

"Ooh, that's harsh any reason for that?"

"Because his new wife Lilith didn't want to bother with the child of his ex-wife."

Cheng nodded and Ziyi said, "tell me something about yourself."

"what do you want to know I am an open book."

Ziyi scoffed, "you are anything but that. You know I have this feeling that you hide a lot behind this calm face of yours."

Cheng smiled, "Okay, I will tell you a secret, I was born at the hospital where you work."

Ziyi's eyes widened, "really? you were? at the 'Weheal' hospital?"

Cheng nodded, and Ziyi smiled, "Wow..."

"Here we are." Cheng said as they reached their destiny and Ziyi smiled when she saw it, "Anaqurium?"

"Don't like it?"

Ziyi smiled, "Love it."

They got down from the car before going in, Ziyi looked at Cheng and then at hand, and Cheng smiled before he held her hand and they walked in.

And as soon as they came in Ziyi was mesmerized by the view, huge tanks filled with beautiful fishes and other sea creatures and also fish as large as her she took out her phone and took a selfie and told Cheng to come as well as they both took a selfie together.

They also asked a passerby to take a picture of her and Cheng as well.

They then grabbed some snacks and went to watch the dolphin show which made Ziyi smile widely as she enjoyed it a lot, seeing the dolphins doing all the stunts made her record everything.

While Cheng smiled when he saw her beautiful smile that was like a cupid's arrow piercing his heart.

And he took out his phone and took a photo of her. 

"Wow, this was so good," she said as they walked out of the aquarium, "now where?"

She asked and Cheng spoke, "Planetarium?"

"Yeah, sure!"

And so their next trip was to the planetarium, they walked in hand in hand enjoying each other's company, just laughing and talking.

However, as they sat in the dark theater looking at the screen another person sat beside Cheng and Cheng did not notice him as he was bust with Ziyi.

And once they came out of the planetarium, Cheng asked, "Shall we go for lunch?"

"Yeah sure I am starving." and then Cheng took her pretty expensive restaurant, where she said, "We will split the bill."

"Yes ma'am."

And so they sat and ordered their favorite dishes, and it was now that Ziyi asked, "How to get the scar on your forehead?"

Cheng paused for a moment and he spoke, "I just fell while playing some games at school."

"It must be very bad right? that scar looks painful."

Cheng smiled, "it's okay how is the food?"

"It's amazing." she said, "So what made you decide to become a criminal lawyer?"

Cheng thought, and his face became solemn, "Once there was a naive kid, who thought that justice existed so he foolishly followed that path thinking that he will be a great person beginning justice to people."

Ziyi said, "so now? You don't like it?"

"But over time he realized that justice doesn't exist and now I am just enjoying humans tearing each other apart. I also live the debate factor of my job where I can trample all over another team. It's fun like I get paid for lying, debating, and sometimes sending another human to death row, it's pretty fun."

Ziyi can hear the disappointment in Cheng's voice very well.

So she didn't ask further, "What made you want to be a doctor?"

"The pay is high and they are respected a lot," she said and laughed. 

Once they were done eating it was time to pay the bill however once the bill arrived and Cheng looked for his wallet he couldn't find it, so he got up and checked again but it was nowhere to be found because unbeknownst to him it was stolen while they were in the planetarium.

"What's wrong?"

Cheng's ears turned red with embarrassment, "I think I lost my wallet... so can you pay?"

Ziyi nodded, "sure." however her face paled when she saw the bill, which was some xxx dollars which gave her a heart attack and Cheng only looked down as Ziyi shakingly gave her card away.

And saw it being swiped however she felt her heart bleed when she saw the notification from the bank that this much money was deducted from her account.

"I am sorry, I will pay you back," Cheng said.

"It's alright, it isn't your fault," she said and as they sat in the car and but when Cheng started to start the car it didn't start and when looked at the indicator he saw that there was no petrol in the car and he nearly banged his head against the steering wheel.

How can he forget! To get his fuel refilled!

"What happened?" Ziyi asked and Cheng gulped as he faced Ziyi and spoke, "Um... there seems to be no petrol."

"What!" she yelled and Cheng closed his eyes," sorry, I forgot to..."

Kill me just kill me.

Ziyi sighed and got out of the car and Cheng got out as well, "I am really sorry."

Ziyi looked at him he looked like a child who made a mistake and was afraid of scolding and she started laughing before she pinched his cheek, "It's okay let's walk for a while and then we can take a cab."

However, luck was on their side as after walking for a while it suddenly started to rain and they had to run again to hide in a shop but they were nearly drenched.

And Cheng gave Ziyi his court that she gladly took it and wore it.

"That's it, this day is bad. " Cheng said.

While smiled, "But I enjoyed it. Because I was with you."

Cheng smiled as well, "I love it as well but I hate rain."

Ziyi laughed before she booked a cab, and while waiting for the cab she looked at Cheng and admired him, his shape face and his lovely eyes plus his figure everything about him were so perfect.

The Xiao twins are just perfect.

Cheng saw her staring and smiled, "like who you see?"

"I love what I see."

The two stared at each other before they slowly moved towards each other and came closer and closer till their lips touched.

The cab stopped in front of Ziyi's house and once again she paid for it, Cheng walked her to her door but they saw someone waiting over there.

There were two people and when they reached closer Ziyi spoke, "Dad?"

"Finally you are home!" he yelled

Her dad Anthony spoke and Ziyi glared at him and her step-mom Lilith, "What are you doing so late at night with a stranger?" she said as she looked at Cheng up and down.

Ziyi glared at her and turned to Cheng, "thank you for today... bye." she said and walked inside the house and locked the door inside while her father kept on calling her.

And she threatened to call the cops if he didn't leave.

While Cheng was looking at Lilith with dead eyes and almost a psychotic look while Lilith also stared back at him their staring contest continued till Anthony came and took his wife away while cursing at Ziyi for how pathetic of a daughter she was!

And once they left Cheng's phone rang it was a call from Haoxuan, "Mr. Xiao, I actually found something. Someone who matched the photo has entered the city. Maybe you were right she is alive and back."

Cheng didn't reply he just heard what Haoxuan was saying, "Mr. Xiao... Hello... Mr. Xiao are you there?"

Cheng only spoke in an icy cold voice as his empty eyes just stared ahead, "you are right... I found Yara."
