The next day when Yibo woke up he was lying on the bed.

He felt tired and he felt heavy; he blinked twice before he figured out that he was in the hospital; he tried to move but couldn't he didn't have that much energy.

Suddenly May's face came before his eyes, her swollen eyes and her pained expression as she smiled when she looked at him, "Yibo..." she said slowly and gently and Yibo blinked.

"Mom..." he said slowly. His throat was parched, and he needed water, May smiled and kissed his forehead, "Thank god." she said, "you had us worry so much about you." she said and then wiped her tears, "Zhan was also so worried."

Yibo remembered that last night Zhan hit the two with his car and came on time, if Zhan hadn't come on time then god knows what would have happened, "Where is he?" Yibo asked and May smiled as she signaled him with her eyes, and Yibo looked to his other side and saw holding his hand as his was sleeping with his down on the bed.

May then went to Zhan and slowly woke him up, "Zhan wake up..." she shook him a little and Zhan was startled awake before he looked at Yibo and saw him awake.

Zhan felt his soul coming back his body as he sighed with relief, "thank god you finally woke up," he said, "I will go and call Ziyi..." he said and went to call her a few minutes later William and Simon also came in and so did Ziyi, Zhan's family was there as well, and everyone was glad that Yibo was fine.

Ziyi came to check on him as well and asked if he feels discomfort anywhere, and Yibo wsa concered about his leg, "My leg was hit badly..."

Ziyi however assured him, "The x-ray is already done and your bone is not broken, it's jsut swelling."

Yibo sighed with relief, before he said again, "What happened to all those..."

William spoke with a smirk, "well, the two who were hit by Zhan's car are in the ICU and the other two including Danny, they are also getting treated right now... " he then gently patted Yibo's back, "well done."

Yibo smiled as well and after a while Cheng also came in,  and everyone looked at him, "So what do you wish to do Yibo? would you like to file a case against them? Also the cops want to take your statement."

Yibo looked at Zhan and May before he asked Cheng, "what will be the best option?"

Cheng smirked, "Very easy, I can tell the other three to give statement against Danny that he tried to kill you , you also file a case of attemp to murder.

I will also make sure that he will go prison for life."

Yibo asked, "And what about those other three?"

Cheng smirked again, "Well they are illiterate and it will easy to fool them all you have to is make a fake promise to them that their sentence will be reduced however once it is proven that they helped Danny they will naturally get amount of years in prison Or a hefty fine of millions of dollars that they won't be able to pay naturally."

This time May was the one who said, "we'll go with this plan. Send that bastard to jail!"

Zhan and the others nodded as well, Cheng smiled wickedly, "Well then when they ask you, you have to say that Danny tried to kill you and you should tell them that Danny has always been agreessive and also has he ever threatned you before?"

Yibo nodded, "Yes, in my office, there must be CCTV footage of it.".

Cheng smiled, "perfect. Danny is doomed. Just leave the rest to me and only say what I tell you too okay?"

Yibo nodded.

 After making sure that Yibo was alright, Zhan's family left, William, May and Simon stayed for sometime but they left as well.

"Ziyi." Zhan caleld out to her and she stopped, Zhan came to her and said, "Ziyi...about what happened that day I am sorry about that."

Ziyi gave him a small smile, "it's okay I understand, had someone tried to ruin my career I would have reacted in the same way."

Zhan smiled, "I am so sorry, I will make sure that something like that will never happen again."

Ziyi nodded and Zhan asked, "by the way... are you and Cheng dating?"

Ziyi sighed, "for that your brother has to take me for a date and ask me to be his girlfriend but he is just so busy."

Zhan smiled,  "oh... I see, don'y give up, if my brother really likes you he will come around and the way he defended you against me I can tell that he likes you."

Ziyi smiled, "That would be great."

"What are you guys talking about?" Cheng came there and Zhan said, "Nothing."

He then left and Cheng looked at Ziyi, "What were you talking about?"

"Nothing... are you free day after tomorrow?" Cheng thought a little, "Um...it's sunday day after tomorrow."

"Yeah so are you free or not."

"I am."

"The will you go on a date with me?"

Cheng smiled, "I should ask that."

"Well you are a jinx, this time let me do that."

"Yeah I am."

"Great then pick me up from my house we'll go somewhere good."

"Yes ma'am."

Meanwhile Zhan was beside Yibo, they were finally alone in the room and Zhan was really attentive towards Yibo.

Suddenly he got a call from Mia but he didn't pick up, he knew that Mia was calling becuase today was his appointment with the doctor.

And Yibo saw the caller ID as well before he asked, "don't you have something to tell me?"

Zhan looked at him and he saw Yibo's stern and demanding gaze, he was also tired of all the arguements and misunderstandings and he didn;t want Yibo to get angry when he was injured so he decided toi come clean.

"Mia is pregnant five months pregnant with my child... I did the paternity test and the child was indeed mine." 

Yibo sighed and Zhan said, "I didn't cheat on you I swear."

"I can do that much calculation." Yibo spoke but his voice was cold clealry he was mad, "So now what? You want the child?"

Zhan spoke, "Mia has some health complications, her body cannot handle child birth, she might die so she wants to abort the child, for that she wants my help, she wants me to go with her and sign the papers and be with her."

Yibo closed his eyes he felt like till now he was stnading under the scorching hot sun and bucket of cold water was dumped on him giving him relief, "Oh..."

Zhan nodded and Yibo smiled, "I am sorry too, I shouldn't have locked you there but I had heard your conversation with Cheng and I was really mad at you, I had no idea that the lights would go off."

"I understand." Zhan said he then gently grabbed Yibo's hand, "I am sorry..." Yibo looked at him, and Zhan continued, "for everything... for what I did years ago and also for forcing you."

Yibo smiled and said, "well you know, if you had said sorry genuinely and then just asked me to marry you like a normal person, I would have said yes."

Zhan looked down and kissed Yibo's hand, "when you called me like that yesterday and I saw you lying on the road covered in your own blood, I regretted everything.

I regreeted dumping you all those years ago, all the fights, arguments misunderstandings and so many things.

I think what if I hadn't been so stupid back then? what we dated all throughout highschool and then college and see wach other grow... how wonderful that would be. 

The whole night I thought about many different things what if I had done things differently after meeting you, what instead of fighting I had talked to you...because when I reflected I relaized that we don't really have a good memory. I thought that all the time we wasted doing stupid things we could have made so many good memories in that time."

Yibo can feel Zhan's hand shiver slightly, and Zhan wanted to squeeze Yibo's hand but since it was injured he didn't while Yibo agreed with Zhan, "come closer."

Yibo said and Zhan was confused but he came closer and Yibo grabbed his face with his injured hands before he kissed him on the lips and then forehead, and attached their forehead, "we can many, many good memories starting from today, starting from this very second..."

Yibo then looked at him in the eyes and smiled, "How about I make this moment memorable?"

Zhan smiled and nodded and Yibo nodded, "Xiao Zhan... my dear bunny... I love you."

Zhan smiled and kissed Yibo's forehead, "Wang Yibo, I love you too."

The two smiled as this was the first time in ten years Zhan heard those three magical words again and Yibo finally heard a genuine conffession.

This was the first time when both the sides felt the same, no lies, no bets, no challenges just a beautiful confession of how they felt for each other.

Yibo leaned in and Zhan titled his head before they both attacked their lips and kissed gently.
