Knock knock

"Come in." Yibo said as the door opened and the nurse walked in, "Dr. Wang."

"What is it?"

The nurse sighed, "It's about a patient in room number 204."

Yibo paused but did not look up from the files he was looking at, "Mr. Xiao?"

"Yes, him... actually he..."

Yibo looked at her, "What is it?"

"Dr. Wang, Mr. Xiao refused to take medicines or injections and even denied taking food, unless it is you who gives it to him."

Yibo sighed and closed his eyes shut from the despair and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I suggest you go." Ziyi said as she walked in the door and sat before Yibo, "If something happens to him the blame will be on you.

You can lose your job, your license can be suspended, and moreover, your reputation can be ruined as well, and not to mention, they both are from influential families... it's a harsh reality."

Every word that she said was actually correct,  "I suggest go right now, and give him his food and then his meds."

Yibo got up from his seat and gave the files to Ziyi, "You go through them, I will see him."

"All the best," she said and winked at him.

"Do you think he will come?" Zhan said, as he was eating his banana, he tried not to eat anything from the beginning but in the end, the hunger got the best of him, so here he was not eating the banana, like he had not eaten anything for ages.

"It should work," Simon said as he had his hand folded in front of his chest and Zhan once again saw that wedding ring.

"Are you married?"Zhan finally asked and Simon looked at him with surprise before he saw Zhan pointing at the ring on his finger.

Simon didn't react immediately but gave him a small nod.

Zhan was shocked after he heard this, he wanted to hear more but before he can say anything and Yibo came in, Zhan panicked and stuffed the banana in Simon's mouth shooting daggers at him through his glare.

"Don't...don't you feel ashamed eating in front of your starving friend?" Zhan yelled at him.

Simon happily ate the banana that was stuffed in his mouth as he saw Yibo coming toward Zhan with a not-so-pleasant expression.

"I heard that you refused to take, medicines and injections and did not eat as well?"

Zhan smiled at him and nodded, Yibo wanted to punch that face so hard but he controlled himself.

Yibo sighed, and a few seconds later the nurse bought the food for Zhan, and placed it before Zhan, "Eat it, Mr. Xiao." Yibo sighed, "when you get well and get discharged, I will give you a list of ways of several ways to die painfully."

Simon covered his mouth to control himself from smiling while Zhan only looked at Yibo, "Thank you, Dr. Wang, please sit here while I eat."

Yibo did as he was told, as he had no intention of talking much with Zhan and the nurse was their as well doing her work.

Zhan ate before he made eye contact with Simon and he gave him a nod, "You know Simon, the nurse...I had a boyfriend by the name of Wang Yibo back in high school as well."

Yibo had a bad premonition as Zhan spoke, "I thought he was a cute and kind person, we dated as well and we loved each other, he was my first kiss and I was the one who took his virginity as well and he looked so much like Dr. Wang."

Yibo's face turned red while Simon only looked down trying to control his laughter the nurse looked like she was done with the world but she still found this story interesting.

" I still remember his cute face, his beautiful eyes, and his body. Oooofff."

Yibo clenched his fist tightly, he imagined Zhan's skull between his hand and imagined crushing it brutally.

The nurse who was a die-hard fujoshi narrowed her eyes and looked between Yibo and Zhan.

"Where is he now?" the nurse asked and Zhan smiled at her he was thankful to her for asking that.

He made a sad face and puppy eyes, "He betrayed me."

Yibo's looked at him with wide eyes and an agape mouth as he saw Zhan's face covered with tears, Simon put a hand on his shoulder as a way to comfort himself, he was biting his cheek from the inside to not laugh.

"He... hic...he..."

Yibo covered his mouth with shock, what a cunning motherfuker he is!

"He was dating me only as a bet and after he used my body he dumped me and insulted me as well...i...I was so heartbroken that till today this haunts me...I..." Zhan cried and the nurse felt bad for him.

"Don't worry my friend you will find someone better." Simon said as if he was feeling hurt for Zhan looked at him with teary eyes, "Oh my friend."

He said as he hugged Simon who hugged him back, Zhan kept his head on his shoulder while pinching his waist, "Don't wipe your nose on my shoulder, you bastard."

Zhan did exactly the same thing and said, "I can' help it, my nose is itchy, you can buy another shirt." he whispered before he resumed crying.

The nurse who felt genuinely bad for him, "Don't worry Mr. Xiao your friend is right...you will find some better, that bastard did not deserve you."

Yibo looked at the nurse with disbelief and Zhan looked at the nurse with puppy eyes, which made her heart skip a beat, "Someone who can betray a face like this must be blind.

He must be regreeting everything right now. oh poor you... I hope that bastard suffers!!"

Yibo had enough he was so angry that he was only seeing red he got up and yelled, "He is lying!"

Everyone became silent and the nurse flinched, while Yibo spoke, "He was the one who betrayed him and he was the one who insulted him, he is a bastard a mother fucker and he was the reason why that poor person had to suffer so much!"

Yibo breathed heavily before the nurse asked hesitatingly, "But...doctor wang how do you know that?"

Only then did Yibo realize what he had done and his eyes widened and he kept his hand on his mouth while Zhan and Simon smirked before Zhan asked, "Yes dr. Wang, how do you know that?"

Shit.

Yibo thought and headed towards the door but Zhan stopped him, "Dr. Wang."

Zhan said and Yibo stopped but did not turn around, "I still haven't finished my food, you won't want me to die right?"

Yibo was so angry that he clenched his fist, while Simon got up and looked at the nurse signaling her to come out with him, and with that, the two left the room while Zhan spoke,

"Now, let's have a chat shall we?"
