Author's note: too much toxicity? shall we focus on some fluff?

I noticed that if I try to update more that twice,my brain run out of ideas and I start hating the book and feel Like I should just end this garbage, sooo I won't update more than twice daily.

And say if someday I miss any update then that means that I am either or too busy or depressed.

The atmosphere if the house was tense, very tense May and Zhan's parents both were and Zhan and Yibo, because both had something very wrong.

May neither wanted to talk to Zhan and neither Yibo and the same went with Zhan's parents.

At the hospital, Yibo went to Ziyi's office but she refused to talk to him, "Ziyi please listen to me."

"I don't want to hear anything Yibo, absolutely nothing, you broke my trust and I need some time." She said as the pain was visible in her eyes, "Don't approach me."

She said and walked away while Yibo just stood at his place.

Great.

So finally he lost a friend as well.

In the end, he came back to his office and sat on his seat and drowned himself in work and Zhan did the same.

That day when Yibo went home he was greeted by cold silence Zhan's parents didn't say anything to him and they didn't say anything to Zhan as well.

They had actually talked to May and all of them decided not to interfere in their relationship, however, their anger had not yet subsided.

Yibo went to his room and as usual, got fresh, Zhan came after Yibo and they both went for dinner since their parents wanted to talk to them about something.

"We heard everything from Zhan, Yibo." Ziyuan spoke, "And he really did you wrong but that does not excuse what you did to him.

Yanli and Cheng just observed from the side.

You had many options, you could have approached your mother or us we would have handled our son well and made sure that he won't bother you but you took matters in your own hands and because of that not just many more people suffered."

Feng spoke as well, "Zhan you created a scene outside the hospital you nearly attacked an innocent female doctor and while your brother tried to stop you, you blamed him?! How could you?"

Zhan sighed he had no words to say, more than Yibo he felt guilty towards Ziyi and Cheng those two had nothing to do with it and got dragged into it.

Zhan felt that he should personally apologize to them both.

Feng spoke, "We talked to Miss May as well she said that you two are fully grown adults if you made mistakes then own them up and deal with it she does not want to get involved in your relationship, and neither do we, but we must warn you that if something like this happened again then we will have to get involved. And you both wouldn't want that."

Zhan and Yibo were quiet and no one said anything. And Cheng who was actually getting hungry now just wanted this lecture to be over.

He had no problem with the lecture but he wanted to eat while listening.

And once Zhan's parents were done with him Feng turned to Cheng, "And you."

Cheng rolled his eyes he knew this was the start of an argument a huge argument because his father was going to spout nonsense.

And not just Cheng, Zhan, and Yanli also sat straight as they felt uneasy while Ziyuan kept her hand on his hand, "Feng."

"You, rascal when you had figured out an evidence and why didn't you tell about it to anyone?!"

Cheng sighed, "I was going to tell dad after I made sure who was the culprit."

"But still if you had told me and Zhan this argument wouldn't have happened."

Classic Feng, talking nonsense telling Zhan? what a joke, so Cheng thought of a witty reply that was going to earn him a scolding but he wanted to see his father angry, "Because you have an IQ lower than Zhan."

Everyone's eyes widened and Zhan and his mother and sister looked at Feng who was fuming with anger, "You!!! Bastard?!"

Cheng has always, always prepared with earphones in his ear, because he was sure his mother, his sister, and his brother won't let Feng beat him so he played some songs and finally served his food without any care in the world while his father just glared at him.

"Honey calm down." his wife said and Yanli served food for him, "dad relax."

"Yes, dad let's talk about something else,"Zhan spoke.

Feng only glared at  them, "You all have spoiled him so much this brat thinks he is just some big shot."

"Feng" Ziyuan glared at him and her husband finally sat down before he glared at Cheng who happily enjoyed his food, the others also sat down and breathed a sigh of relief.

After the dinner was finally over Zhan knocked at Cheng's door, "come in."

Zhan opened the door and went in Cheng was sitting on his chair going through the files, "What do you want?"

Zhan sighed and sat on a chair, "I am sorry."

Cheng looked at him and Zhan continued, "I shouldn't have accused you as the culprit."

Cheng nodded, "This is isn't the first time you know?"

Zhan looked down and Cheng jeot his files aside, when Zhan accused him of stealing the compnay files that was the last straw for Cheng, how can Zhan even speak before thinking, how can he even think that Cheng was going to harm his own family business and hurt his own family because of a woman that he didn't even knew properly.

Zhan really thought of him as naive fickle minded child and Cheng was done with this shit, Zhan needs to get a realit check and Cheng was more than happy to give him that.

"I didn't mean that..." Zhan tried to justify and Cheng smiled, whether Zhan meant it or not the words were said and the damage was done.

"Of couse you know when we were kids, mom gave is both identical t-shirts you lsot yours and you accused me of stealing it and you created such a hige fuss over it and in the end mom have to give mine shirt to you, the next day you found your shirt, you left it at school and then you came to say sorry to me."

Cheng spoke, "But the damage was done, the fact that I still remember that day clears how deeply I was impacted, but okay that's a normal sibling fight let's come ahead, you dates this girl and you treated her like shit.

And when I consoled her you accused me of stealing your girl and you dumped her on spot and later when you found that she was sad because of you and because she failed in her test you again came to say sorry but what's the point? the damage was already done!"

Cheng spoke in a smooth and calm voice but Zhan's face was deathly pale like a ghost and Cheng gave him a solid blow, "Mom and dad loves you so much like so damn much, because you had an accident and you lost all your memories before that age of five you are even more pampered.

You are the golden child, mom and dad nearly lost you when you were a child and so they paid extra attention to you and you waht did you do put your life in danger the life that mom and dad treasure so much! perhaps even more than me! even though we are twins?! And now what? you are going to say sorry again?" Cheng's smile wsa gone and his face was firm now.

While Zhan's eyes were filled with tears and Cheng played with hair revelaing the scar on his head for a split second, "You said that you changed, you fought for me when I wanted to leave the house, when I wanted to puruse a different career, you fought with mom and dad or me many time.

You supported me when I failed and also helped me when I was in problem even helped me in my studies and may times paid for me and I amn grateful for all these things you did, you suddenly became overprotective over me and I was thankful that you cared about me, I thought that you really changed but your latest accusation crossed all limits Zhan.

This time your sorry won't work, I don't want your sorry and you are just like before, you act before you think and then come to say sorry sometimes you don't even realize what you did wrong." Cheng said and once again got back to work.

While Zhan's face was tear-stained everything that happened these days came crashing to him like a train and he reflected on everything, thought about everything deeply.

Cheng got up and gave him a glass of water and a handkerchief, "And if you really want this marriage of yours to work then I suggest you take a step back, and take a break think about everything and perhaps work on this temperament of yours.

Let Yibo also take a break from you and then think thoroughly what you want sort out your thoughts and then sit and have a chat with him."

Cheng said and sat back on his chair before going back to his work, while Zhan wiped his tears and drank the water and didn't say anything he just silently got up and left.

Author's note: Perhaps the most sensible and calm character in the enitre book is Cheng...can you think of someone else?

Also what is that one trope that you hate with a passion. Like you detest that trope with the bottom of your heart.
