"Ow..." Zhan winced with pain when Yibo removed the bandage on his head and cleaned the wound, Zhan just sat there with a frown on his face.

"It's healing rapidly. That's a good sign, we don't need to bandage it anymore."

He said as he kept it aside, Zhan sighed, he still had a not very pleasant expression on his face.

For some reason he was very irritated, maybe it was the lack of sleep and unpleasant morning but after meeting that chairman his annoyance only increased.

Yibo only looked at Zhan, he expected some kind of reply or any reaction but he got nothing.

Which was weird.

So he cleard his throat, "Your hand and leg will heal soon as well and the bruises and the minor injuries are nearly healed."

"En..." 

That's it? 

Yibo thought, that was the only thing he was going to say?

"Dr. Wang..." the nurse said.

"Yes." he said taking his attention off Zhan.

"What did the chairman say to you?" she asked, she was particularly excited about it.

And Zhan finally narrowed his eyes towards him after all he also wanted to know what the hell they talked about but he felt a bitter taste when he saw Yibo smile.

"Oh, it was nothing he was just asking about how I am doing... and all."

"Oh I see." the nurse said.

Suddenly Yibo's phone rang as well and he looked at the caller ID, "It's chairman, I'll be back." he said and walked out without looking at Zhan.

Zhan felt so annoyed that he wanted to punch someone, that chairman is more important to Yibo than his patient?!

Humph!

Mrs. Nelson saw that Zhan seemed to be upset so she wanted to talk to him to make him feel better, as she thought that maybe he was missing his family and since Simon was not here, he must be feeling lonely.

But before she can say Zhan spoke, "nurse can you give me something that would help me sleep?"

The nurse reluctantly nodded and gave Zhan something that made him fall asleep.

By the time Yibo came back, Zhan was already asleep and he didn't know why but he felt a little disappointed as he wanted to talk to Zhan about what was bothering him.

"What did the chairman say? Dr. Wang?"

"Oh, nothing much," Yibo said, the chairman wanted to ask him which restaurant he would like to go and Yibo just told him that anyone would be okay.

He even finished the call fast so that he can talk to Zhan but now that he was asleep, Yibo quietly came out and went to check on other patients.

When Zhan woke up the next time it was late in the evening, he yawned and sat up on the bed.

He checked his phone there was nothing much only a message from Simon that he would come tomorrow morning.

Zhan kept the phone aside and laid back on the bed, he stayed like that for a while but then he had the urge to go out for a stroll.

He tried to call a nurse and this time the nurse that came to his room was rather young, she was a beautiful woman with a dazzling smile.

"What can I do for you handsome."

Ooh what a flirt.

Zhan smiled as well, "I am sorry to trouble you but would you take me out? I am quiet bored here."

"Sure." she said with a smile.

Hence when Yibo came back the room was empty, he sighed and walked out once again, after going through all his patients and work when he finally had time he thought to check on him.

Besides it was time for the food and then his medicine as Mrs. Nelson had said.

At first he just casually walked but soon he came across a very unsightly scene, that made his eyes cold.

There was Zhan chatting with the nurses.

"You are really very handsome Zhan..."

Wow. Not even Mr. Xiao or Zhan, he became so close with the nurses that they call him by his name?

"Ah... you are making me embarrassed dear, such a compliment from a beautiful woman is making my heart beat very fast."

The other nurse said, "oh is that so? may I check?" she said and Zhan winked at her, "I can't say no to a lovely lady like you, it's all yours." he said and the nurse bent down and kept her hand on his chest.

"Oh my, it's really beating fast."

"Maybe it's the magic of your hands."

The other nurses smiled and Yibo for some reason was fuming with anger as he saw the scene.

"What's going on here?" he said in a very cold tone that made the others stop smiling but he mostly glared at Zhan.

"Mr. Xiao... it seems that you have assumed this hospital as your home... if that's the case then let me remind you this is a hospital and not some kind of park."

Zhan rolled his eyes, "You need to chill doc."

"A hospital is not a place to chill."

Zhan did not like that tone that Yibo used to talk to him, and his smile vanished as he looked at Yibo with cold eyes who was staring back at him.

The others also sensed the atmosphere that was becoming colder and colder and they felt awkward.

"Go back to your room."

That's it.

Zhan absolutely hated it when somebody gave him an order, he was used to being the boss he was used to in control and he was the one who liked to give orders and not receive them.

"Aren't you being a little unreasonable here? Dr. Wang? I understand getting jealous from someone who is always better than you in everything but showing it publicly is just pathetic."

Yibo scoffed and smirked, oh boy if Zhan said that he can give Yibo a nasty comment and walk away then he was wrong very wrong since Yibo was used to these comments since his childhood his relatives taught him well.

"Oh trust me, I am not that pathetic who will get jealous from someone with a loose character, I am just worried that someone like might be carrying an std and my staff can get infected from it."

The nurses were shocked to hear this, as Zhan smirked, he was angry very very angry he wanted to crush Yibo and make him surrender, he wanted to wipe off that smirk and make him regret what he just said.

"Says that one who once followed me like a dog..." before Zhan can complete Yibo kept his hand on the wheelchair behind Zhan's head and leaned in, he came face to face with Zhan, the two glared at each other.

Their faces were close to that of each other as they, their eyes excluded the angry stare and the aura around them was so heavy that the others can also feel the intensity.

Yibo spoke in his cold and firm voice, which can send shivers down anyone's spine, "I suggest mind your tongue because this dog has learned to bite."

Zhan spoke as well, "That's a bad dog then... don't worry I will make sure to tame it again."

"Be my guest."
