I know this chapter is short, I wanted this to be a little longer but there would be sooooo much unnecessary filler but I still hope you enjoy it. Love you guys <3

You were sitting on your couch bored out of your mind. Your husband was currently in a meeting with the rest of Bonten talking about who knows what. You and Kakucho have been together since you were teens. When he told you about him joining Bonten in all honesty you didn't want him to. You were worried about what would happen to him but he promised nothing bad would happen, and thankfully nothing has.

You kept looking at the clock and hours had passed. He would always text you after meetings were over since you actually enjoyed being with him at work. You never got involved with anything, you were merely there just to be by his side, a pretty face around the office. You continued to pass the time and more hours passed, not a single peep from Kakucho. You decided to text and ask him if he was okay.

You waited a few minutes before your phone dinged and Kakucho's contact flashed on your screen. You picked it up and read the text message.

Sorry but we're still in a meeting. I'll text you later when its finished. Love you.

How the hell could this meeting be going on for almost four hours now? The meetings never took this long, even with Sanzu's shenanigans. You huffed tossing the phone next to you before you picked it up again, responding to Kakuchos text. This began a back and forth mini argument between the two of you. I mean it was just a small favor you asked from him and he made it seem like such a big deal.

The texts came to a slow stop which you assumed was because Kakucho got caught texting during the meeting. However your thought was proven wrong when you got a phone call from Kakucho. You smiled and picked up the phone.

"Hi baby."

"Don't hi baby me. I already told you the answer is no. Now even though I love you very much, stop texting me during the meeting. I'm gonna get caught."

"Aww please Kaku? It'll be fun. I won't take long I swear." You said using his little nickname you gave him back in your early stages of dating.

"(Y/N) if I have to tell you no again theres gonna be consequences." Kakucho said, his voice deep.

"You're no fun these days. Its all business, business, Bonten this, Bonten that, I miss the old Kakucho." You huffed into the phone.

"What do you mean I'm no fun? I'm in the middle of a meeting babe."

You and Kakucho now began an actual argument on the phone. You telling him the errand will only take a few minutes, and Kakucho saying he knows you better than yourself and it most certainly won't take 'a few minutes' and how you need to stop being annoying so he can go back to the meeting .

"Annoying? I'm being annoying? A small teeny tiny joke and I'm being an annoyance? You know what Kakucho fine. Just forget I even asked okay. Go back to your meeting I'll see you when you get home." You hung up the phone only for it to immediately ring again with Kakucho's contact.

You sat for a minute before huffing and answering the phone.

"I hung up so you could go back to your meeting since I was being annoying Kakucho." You deadpanned.

"No, listen. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset with what I said. You know I love you and you know I'd do literally anything for you. Please don't be upset babe." He said apologetically.

You and Kakucho were both silent for a few minutes. Yeah you kinda did jump the gun and get mad at him but... no there wasn't a but, you definitely jumped the gun.

"I know you love me, and I love you too babe. I'm sorry I got mad." You said.

You could tell he was smiling on the other end of the phone.

"So since you said you'd do anything for me I was wondering if-" You started only to be cut off.

"No, I will not leave the meeting to go pick out lingerie with you babe." Kakucho interrupted you.

"I wasn't even gonna ask that!"

"Oh really what you were gonna ask? Hmm?" He said teasing you.

"I was gonna ask if you wanted to go out to lunch after your meeting."

"Oh. Um yeah sure, I can pick you up after the meetings over."

"But since you did bring up shop-"

 "We'll go shopping for lingerie a different day when I have the time okay? You like to look at anything and everything and you don't like feeling rushed."

"Fine. I guess that works too."

"Okay grumpy. I'll see you at home later. I love you."

"I love you too."

Kakucho hung up the phone and made his way back to the meeting with the rest of Bonten however he stopped when he saw Ran standing outside.

"What are you doing here?"

"Oh we thought you were taking a while so I came to check."

"Oh, yeah I'm fine." Kakucho said pushing pass Ran.

"Hmm. So (Y/N) wanted you to ditch the meeting and go lingerie shopping with her?"

Kakucho stopped in his tracks turning around to face Ran, a bead of sweat rolling down his face.

"I'm not gonna say anything since you're coming back. Just thought that was kinda funny. She really is something, huh?"

"Yeah but I love her so I don't mind." Kakucho said smiling to himself on the way back to the meeting room.
