Fifty One
Jungkook ran into the house at full speed, hoping and praying that what he heard wasn't true, that his ears were just playing a cruel trick on him. His eyes darted across the smoke-filled kitchen, pleading for any sign of his beloved soulmate. The only things that greeted his panicked state were shattered glass and blood staining the spot where he left Ha-Na. The man stood frozen in the smoky kitchen, seeing nothing left of Ha-Na. Reality slapped him in the face like a freight train- Ha-Na was gone. The one and only time he left her alone, that was when they chose to strike. The men after her came in and made their move.
Now that they have her, they won't hesitate to bring her to the bastards known as her parents. The men who attacked their house, the man trying to buy her from the four older boys, they were all linked to Ha-Na's parents, leaders of a threatening and powerful gang. Ha-Na ran away from home to escape their tyranny, she was managed to stay hidden for four years. They kidnapped her just so that they could marry her off to an ally, just to secure their greedy riches. Meeting Jungkook just set everything into motion.
Namjoon rushed into the kitchen shortly after, his fists forming into tight fists as his eyes landed on the empty kitchen. If he had only delivered the news of their current situation to him fast enough, if they had reacted quick enough, Ha-Na would still be inside the house, safe and sound. The man cursed at himself, her kidnapping was his fault.
The two suddenly heard Yoongi's yelling from outside, and they immediately broke out into a sprint towards the front porch. Right in front of them, they watched Yoongi and his soulmate aiming their guns towards an escaping van. A chain of gunshots filled the air, the two firing their guns until their magazines were empty. Jungkook helplessly watched in horror as the van carrying his soulmate sped off and disappeared out of sight.
Jungkook suddenly felt dizzy, his mind spinning as if he was trapped in a washing machine at the laundromat. However, as he passed out, his body didn't collapse, instead Tokki took over without a speck of hesitation. His brown eyes soon bled black, scaring Namjoon, Yoongi and his soulmate out of their pants.
"We have to go after them!" Tokki roared.
Namjoon and Yoongi grit their teeth as they witnessed a look of rage and anger wash over the man's already tense facial features.
"Tokki, we shot their van with GPS rounds," the pale skinned man explained. "Once the others come back, we can prepare and go after them."
Tokki growled at the two men. Everything had become clear to him the moment Jungkook and Ha-Na bonded that one night. He fully understood that no one else like Ha-Na will ever come into his life, and that he has to protect her no matter what. Tokki has come to terms with the fact that Ha-Na is meant to complete and love him and that nothing is going to change that. Jungkook was hellbent on protecting her, and so was he.
"I can't wait that long!" he snapped, clenching his shaky hands into tight fists. "She's going to be forced into a fucking marriage, and it's not mine!"
"Tokki, I swear to whatever is above, I'm going to put you in a chokehold if you don't calm the fuck down!" Namjoon shot back, letting his fatherly figure burn through.
Tokki clamped his mouth shut, crossing his arms over is chest.
"Look, I know you and Jungkook care about Ha-Na. but we're going up against Ha-Na's parents, we need to think this through," the older huffed. "If we don't, it won't just be Ha-Na we're losing."
Tokki nodded angrily before shutting his eyes. He pulled Jungkook into consciousness, letting him take control of his body. Once Jungkook was awake, he stumbled into Yoongi, still feeling the earlier effects of his nausea. Yoongi caught the younger boy and gently set him down onto the grass.
"Please..." he whimpered, barely hanging on to his consciousness. "I can't lose her, not again..."
