Neo: Oooh ouch, what happened?

He groaned as he slowly woke up from his sudden passing out, slowly gathering his bearings and looking around his new surroundings.

Neo: Luz, where are you?

He asked as he gently stood home his form still fairly sore from his unplanned rest, eying the area. Remembering what last happened, he knew that he and Luz jumped through the portal he made to Earth.

And then nothing.

Neo: Ah ah ah ah, my back!

He gasped in pain as he leaned on a nearby tree, his hand going over his back, feeling a sharp sting there. Whatever made him faint earlier seems to be related to the unknown aching on his back.

Well regardless, he needed to find Luz, and fast.

Neo: Ow ow ow... crap, I'm bleeding...

He said as he noticed the pain growing larger.

Drip drip drip drip~...

As well as the concerning amount of blood coming from his back and now covering his hand.

Neo: Lucky shot.

Be it Lilith or one of those palace goons, he'll get back on them when he gets back to the Isles, though current priorities stand at the moment.

Where is Luz?

Neo: Luz, Luz, Luz!

He shouted with his good hand held up as to better amplify his voice, regardless of the pain he was feeling. As he trenched through the woods, he thought back to the spell he used to send them both here. It's semi random, but they usually are locked in a specific location he himself decides to use.

He fell again slowly losing consciousness.

Thump!

The blood loss and his already low energy wasn't going to keep him up for long, least until he can get some help.

But before his world went completely black, he barely saw something.

Neo: Huh...?

He barely gasped out as he couldn't make out what he could hear, being only his heartbeat, till he saw it. While hard to see, he could slightly make out the outline of his protege kneeling down, yelling at him as she held his shoulder.

But there was someone else, much older and taller than her.

Later:

Neo groaned.

He didn't know when it was, but when he opened his eyes, he was somewhere different than before. Laying on his back on a queen sized bed with his upper clothes removed, his torso was wrapped in tight bandages.

Neo: Huh Luz, is that you?

A pair of cat ears twitched at hearing her name, raising her head from her resting position on a nearby chair. Doing a usual cat stretch, she slowly opened her eyes as fo better see what was in front of her.

Luz: Hm?

She hummed as the sleepiness soon wore off.

Luz: NEO!!!

She shouted as she raced over.

Neo: Oww ow ow, not to hard please.

Luz: Oh, sorry!

She said, quickly backing away from the hug she gave the man, her ears flat on her head.

Luz: You scared me there, a-all the blood on your back...

Neo: Did you patch me up?

He asked as he rubbed a hand over the bandages on his chest, the teen shaking her head.

Luz: No, that wasn't me, that was-OH!!! Right, mama!! He's awake!!

She shouted as she ran to the door.

"Coming Nija!!"

A voice shouted from out the room as the warlock sat up a little straighter.

Neo then saw the owner of the voice walk in.

"Nija, what did we say about yelling? He could feel light headed from his wounds."

The motherly tone of an older Latina woman said as she stood beside her daughter in the doorway. Standing a foot or so taller than Luz, minus the ears, her dark brown hair done in a small bun with it's front styled like the teen. She wore some baby blue doctor's scrubs with a tray full of plates of foods in her hands.

Luz: Sorry mama, I was just excited.

Neo: ...Cami?

He spoke up, his eyes wide and tone loud enough to be heard by them, both turning to the man on the bed, Luz raising a brow.

Luz: Wha-Cami?

She asked as the woman walked closer to him, setting the tray on his lap.

Cami: It has been a long time, Neo.

She said, holding his cheek gently as Luz's eyes shot open.

Neo then looked between the two.

Neo: 14 years I see.

He said as she nodded as she rubbed his cheek with her thumb, Luz pointing between them while imitating a pufferfish.

Luz: W-w-w-wha-you know each other?!

She asked as Cami chuckled slightly and nodded.

Cami: Yes, more than you know Luz.

Luz: Huh?

Neo: It seems Luz, I'm not just your teacher... I'm your father.

...

That revelation was a major surprise, unexpected and so shocking that Luz's brain actually stopped.

Cami: Nija?

She asked, noticing her daughter unusually still, as well as pale with an open jaw.

Cami: Oh dear...

Neo: Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant Cami?

He asked as the woman sighed, carefully pushing him back as to rest his wounds.

Cami: I wanted too, but by the time I found out myself, you had left and I couldn't find you.

She said as she looked down slightly.

Cami: That maybe, because I was, you didn't want to see me anymore...

Neo: I would have married you.

He said seriously as she froze and raised her head, eyes wide in shock.

Cami: Y-you would have?

She asked as he gently took the hand on his chest and gave it a comforting squeeze.

Neo: By the way, do you still have that bikini I liked so much~?

His question was back to his usual cheeky tone, the woman going a little red as she turned away.

Cami(nervous): I-I have it somewhere... b-but first...

She said, looking back at him.

Cami: Why did you leave?

Neo: You broke things of with me, remember?

He asked as she frowned slightly at him.

Camila: You were always so secretive, like you never really trusted me, so much I wouldn't see or hear from you for days.

She said back as she crossed her arms at the man.

Camila: Outside of our dates, I knew next to nothing about you.

Neo: And I wanted to move in together, but you didn't think it was a good idea.

He said, making her lessen her glare.

Camila: I thought it was too soon for us, that we were moving a little too fast.

She said, rubbing her arm slightly.

Neo: Like not wanting me to meet your parents.

Camila: Y-you don't understand, they had EXTREMELY high standards and I was worried they'd scare you away.

She said as she held his shoulder gently.

Camila: I didn't want you to stop seeing me because of them.

Her explanation reminded him of a certain cat girl's girlfriend.

Neo: That's why I became secretive, because I felt like I was a dirty secret.

The warlock looked away sadly as she sighed hearing that.

Camila: I'm sorry you had dealt with that Neo... the last thing I wanted was you to feel uncomfortable...

Neo: Well I guess the cats out of the bag.

The man said with a chuckle.

Neo: You've seen what I can do.

Camila: Yes, I did...

She said, turning to see her still petrified daughter staring at them.

Camila: So magic is real? Like her fantasy books of witches and wizards?

Neo: Yes, but I'm actually a warlock, a male witch.

Camila: I see...

She said, looking between her daughter and her old boyfriend, who began eating the food.

Camila: Should I be worried about the reason behind that wound I found on your back? Something magic related?

Neo: Well one of my students sister's is trying to kill me on the orders of my father.

...

Camila(thinking): And here I believed my parents to be hard to work with...

She thought, unsure of the right response to hearing that.

Camila: W-well it will take you a bit to fully heal, so try not to overexert yourself.

Neo: Hey Camila, I must admit, in the time we've been not together I've had a few... lovers, so to speak.

He explained as she gave him a firm look at him.

Camila: How many is a "few"?

She asked, using the air quotes to emphasize her question.

Neo: Three, one of which is the student who's sister is trying to kill me.

Camila hummed lowly at him, her gaze lowered.

Camila: I... see...

C-CRUNCH~!!!

She said, her grip on the nearby alarm clock breaking under her hold.

Neo waved his fingers over the device.

GLEAM~!!!!!

Instantly repairing it.

Camila staring in surprise from the action as she held it up.

Camila: Amazing...

She said lowly as she set it back down.

Neo: Heh, even after all this time, you're still jealous of other girls.

He said with a smile, the woman blushing as she turned away as to not show him.

Camila(nervous): I-it's not jealousy!! I-I'm just... w-worried is all!

She said as the warlock slowly shook his head at her.

Neo: Right, the girl who hissed at other girls when they looked at me.

Camila: I did NOT hiss!!

She yelled as she pointed at his smug face, her own burning crimson.

Neo: Maybe our daughter was part cat already.

He joked as Luz, having woken up slightly from her shock, pointed wordlessly between them.

Camila: She certainly did think that...

She said as he looked at her.

Camila: Until she was 4, she acted like a house cat.

Neo: Cami, after I get done with possibly killing my father... do you want to try us again?

He asked, Camila doing a double take in surprise, both in the offer and how he said he may commit parricide.

Camila: Y-you really want to try again?

She asked nervously, kneeling next to where he laid, staring right into his eyes.

Camila: W-what about those lovers of yours? H-how will they feel about it?

Neo: Well two practically hump my leg and the third is a closet freak, so the only question is, are you willing to share?

She can floss over those mild descriptions regarding his lovers at a later point, so for now, she can answer his original question.

Camila: I... suppose I could give it a try...

She said, briefly looking to the side before turning back to him.

Camila: But do you really want to be with me? After all this time?

Neo: I have for a decade and a half a prince never forgets his princess.

He said with a smile, the woman smiling back with her eyes glistening over as she held his hands gently.

Camila: Mi príncipe, te he echado de menos...

She said as Luz smiled from her spot.

Neo: Hey Luz, I guess I should give you these.

He said as he snapped his fingers as something appeared in her hands.

The teen looking down in confusion as she soon read the box.

Luz: W-W-W-WHA?!?!

She asked in shock, embarrassment, and confusion from holding a box of condoms in her hands.

Camila: W-what're those for?! Wait, does she have a boyfriend?

Neo: Girlfriend actually, but if she's anything like us, she's going be experimenting... like a lot.

He said, Camila growing red as she looked away with Luz staring in shock.

Luz: W-what?!

Camila: L-let's change the subject, please?! G-girlfriend you say?

Neo: Yep Amity Blight, they remind me of us.

He said with a smile.
