Neo and Luz walked in to see Eda and King holding the babies and sleeping... wait, babies?

Luz: Where'd they come from?

She asked as they leaned in to see the babies. After checking with Eda for a moment, the 2 trained a little more before getting back.

Neo: Aww, so cute.

He said, admiring the sight of both the sleeping infants and Eda.

Luz: They are~! Though I'm wondering who caused this damage.

She said, looking around the semi-trashed living room.

Neo: I think it was them.

Luz: Maybe.

"Ding Dong ding! Hoot hoot!"

The 2 looked over to see the door abruptly open thanks to Hooty.

Luz: Gah! Hooty, stop that!

Neo: When will the Bat Queen be here?

Luz: Uh, does she look like that?

She asked, pointing to a large figure squeezed itself through the door. Luz hid behind Neo in fear of what it'll be as it rose it's head.

Luz: Whoa, you must be mama.

She said as the large winged creature smiled and nodded.

Neo: Greeting miss Bat Queen.

He said kindly before he bowed his head.

The creature, the Bat Queen smiled as she recognized the man.

BQ: Aw, Neo, such a nice boy. How are you? It's been so long.

She asked, lifting his chin with her wing.

Neo: Good, I still remember the dance under the the Blood Moon when we were young.

The Queen nodded with a toothy smile.

BQ: Ah yes, it was a beautiful night.

She looked around, seeing Luz behind Neo and Eda on the couch.

BQ: Aw, you start a family yourself with the Owl lady?

She asked, Luz giggling loudly at people saying that he and Eda are together.

Neo: No she's just my apprentice, but you know with me anything is possible.

The Queen nodded with a smile.

BQ: Indeed. For now, I am here for my babies.

She said, whistling slightly as the smaller bats flew from Eda's arms to the top of the Bat Queen's head.

And in it.

Luz: Whoa...

BQ: Aw, snuggle dumplings.

Neo: Um, they aren't mine, are they?

Neo asked bashfully.

Luz's jaw dropped as she looked between the 2 with wide eyes. The Queen giggled with a wing over her mouth.

BQ: No no, they are not Neo.

She said, soon barfing up a chest full of gold, and a whistle.

BQ: For today's help.

Neo: Thanks.

A Few Minutes Later:

Neo: What's that look for Luz?

He asked as the Latina cat girl gave him a sly grin full of mischief.

Luz: Oh nothing~! So, you and the Bat Queen?

Neo: A gentle lover and the reason I'm very flexible.

He said, Luz looking at him and the door in confusion. The physics of that reasoning is more confusing then embarrassing.

Luz: Gentle? How? Wait, never mind, don't answer that!

She quickly said, her face red.

Neo: Royalty had its perks, especially ladies chasing after you.

Luz: That sounds more like a hassle then it does a luxury.

She said with a raised brow as Neo shrugged, looking at the whistle the Bat Queen coughed up.

Neo: Oh from our first date.

Luz: Aw, how nice!

She said, clasping her hands against her cheek with a wide smile.

Neo: Thanks.

The Next Day:

After dealing with a distraught Eda and King from losing the babies, the settled back to as normal as they get.

Eda: And he said that whistle was from their first date?

She asked while playing with Rock Biter.

Luz: Yup!

She said while she was making a sign for Eda's stand.

It was made with some of her new spells. The sign just read "Owl Lady's Stand", but she learned to make it a neon sign.

Eda: Interesting.

Luz: Is it normal for people to date people like the Bat Queen? I-I mean it in no offense to her of course!!

She said sincerely as Eda laughed.

Eda: Relax kid, taste here in the Isles is different than Human standards.

Suddenly three teens showed up at the stand.

One had short magenta hair in a bun with 3 eyes. The other had long, pale grey hair done in a pony tail. And the last one is very familiar to the junk sellers.

Luz: Oh Amity hey!

The cat girl said cheerily as her tail wagged. The mint haired girl blushed light as they stopped before her.

Amity: Hey Luz...

?: Ugh, is this why we had to stop here?

The tri-clops asked as she checked her phone.

She was the definition of a bitch.

The girl is mean for no apparent reason that people either don't know or she won't share.

Luz: Uh..?

She asked Amity, pointing at her, who sighed.

Amity: Luz, this is Boscha.

Luz: Oh hi there!

She said as the pink girl's third eye looked up at her before back at her phone.

Amity: Yeah, and this is Skara.

She said, gesturing to the other girl, who looked excited.

Skara: Are you a real cat girl?!

She asked, going to the stand with a wide grin.

Luz let out a mew.

The small girl squealed at the cuteness as Amity went red.

Boscha: Ugh, stop that!

She said in anger, glaring at the smaller girl, who flinched at her shout. This annoyed Amity, Luz, and a certain hooded figure not too far away.

Who didn't care for this girl insulting his apprentice and a clearly nice girl.

Suddenly her lips froze over.

C-CRACK~!

Boscha: Mf?! MMMFFF!!!!

Amity and Skara stared in surprise as the mean girl's lips was covered in ice.

Skara: Whoa, what that?!

Amity turned to Luz in confusion, as the girl giggled.

Amity: Did you do that?

Luz shook her head as she looked around, soon noticing a certain, hidden Warlock.

Luz: No, but I have an idea of who did~!

Neo chuckles.

Boscha screamed behind the ice over her face as she stormed off.

Skara: Oh geez, I better follow her before she destroys something. Bye Amity, bye cat girl!

She shouted before running off, Amity looking at Luz with a smile.

Amity: OK, that made my day.

Luz: Yup!

She said, noticing Neo walk over with something hanging off his back.

Luz: Hey Neo!

Neo: Hey ladies and King look what I found.

The girls and self proclaimed King of Demons looked over to see what it was.

King: Ugh, what is it? I'm trying to sleep!

Eda: You sleep enough King. What is it Neo?

Neo: This is my a familiar, Yami.

Amity: Familiar?

She asked as Neo removed the bundle under his cloak.

Eda: Holy cow!

Luz: Awesome!!

Amity: WHOA!!

They said at once as the figure revealed itself. It was around the same height as King with a deadlier look. It has black and grey scales, tiny wings, and a glowing fiery red underbelly.

Neo: My protector and personal pet.

Yami: I am no ones pet!

The dragon said stubbornly as he was set on the desk. The rest leaned in to observe him.

Eda: Whistle~! Now that's a dragon!

Amity: Amazing, I've never seen one up close before.

Luz: Aw, he's cute!

She said, tickling under Yami's chin.

Neo: I'm hoping to bring him with me if I ever get my birthright back.

Eda pat his back gently with that.

Eda: Don't worry, you will.

Luz: Why wouldn't you normally?

She asked as Yami looked around, his gaze falling on King.

Who glared at him.

Yami: What're you?

King stood up and glared at the dragon.

King: The King Of Demons, and you shall tremble before me!!

Yami breathed fire.

FWOOSH~!!

King: EEP!!

He said in fear as he scampered up and behind an amazed Luz.

Luz: Cool!!!

Amity: Whoa!

Eda: Hey!

Tap!

She said, tapping the edge of Yami's nose with her staff.

Eda: No burning King.

Yami grumbled as Neo rubbed his back.

Neo: I still love dragons. At the school of magic there was a game in gym where you had to run away from a dragon while covered in oil.

Yami: It's fun watching them scream as they run!

The rest backed away, Amity actually hiding behind Luz.

Eda: Right... anyway, any reason you brought him here?

King: Other than annoy us? Wee!!

He said before ducking when Yami glared at him.

Neo: I was thinking your next lesson would be taming a familiar in it's natural habitat.

Eda/Luz: Oooh~!

They said at once, sharing a grin.

Amity: Wait, don't familiars have a second form?

Luz: Second form?

Amity: Yeah, where they're stronger and more powerful?

Yami: You're smart child. What's your name?

Yami asked as he walked closer to the girl, who flinched a little at him.

Amity: A-Amity Blight.

Yami hummed as he looked back at Neo, who continued.

Neo: You're lesson is to find an animal, learn about it and make it respect you. Also, try not to get eaten.

Eda: Comforting.

Luz: Yeah...

She said, looking at Yami with a smile.

Luz: Can I hold you?!

King: Hey!

Thump!

The small skull headed creature landed in Luz's arms.

King: You're only allowed to hold me, the King of Demons commands it!

Yami breathed fire again.

FWOOSH~!!

Luz/King: YIPE!!

The 2 shouted at once to avoid the fire as Neo laughed at the sight fondly.

Amity: Oh boy...

Yami: Don't bad mouth me boy!

Neo chuckled.
