She asked as she and Edric continued petting Luz, who was resting on their laps, after taking a seat in the corner. Amity was petting Luz's tail, the Hispanic girl liking her hands the most compared to her siblings.

Neo: Just returning books for a friend.

Edric: Ah, lame. Who reads books anymore?

Luz(purring): People in a library?

She asked with a smile as her tail wrapped around Amity's hands, who enjoyed the feeling greatly.

Emira: Who reads when you could learn magic or mess with people?

She asked with a grin as Neo frowned.

Neo: Really, you think you know so much about magic do you?

The twins shared a look before turning back to Neo.

Emira: We know enough.

Amity: All they know is illusion magic.

The young Blight said with a neutral look as Luz went from the twin's laps to hers, the young girl squealing in her mind.

Edric: Still cool!

Neo waves his hand over two books in the air.

Neo: Literature of present or past read aloud your contents wether it be fiction or fact.

The books shined as a voice spoke from within them, the first being a historical book of The Boiling Isles.

"The History Of The Boiling Isles.

One of death, destruction, and the use of untrained magic was perfectly clear before the Emperor arrived. When he came to the Isles, he brought order and structure to the people, and rightfully punish those who use magic freely..."

The Blight's stared in surprised as the book continued reading.

The other book that started was Luz's Azora book.

"And so Azura challenged her rival Hecity to a Witch's Battle for the fate of her people! Raising her staff to the Heaven's, she gathered the remainder of her magic in a last ditch hope in her victory."

Luz/Amity: Amazing~!!!!

The 2 said at once, Luz staring at Amity in surprise as said girl blushed as she said it out loud.

Luz: You like Azora too!?!?

Amity(shyly): A-a little...

Neo: Now that is how you do magic.

Emira and Edric stared in surprise at the sight, especially since they didn't see Neo use a glyph.

Edric: Wait, how'd you do that without a glyph?

Luz: Because he doesn't need them to be an awesome Warlock!

She said excitedly towards her mentor.

Neo: Pure brain power.

He said, proudly crossing his arms.

Edric: Say, how much about magic do you know?

He asked with a grin, which Emira shared, though Amity grew nervous.

Amity(thinking): Oh no...

Neo: Everything.

He turned the twins into hamsters.

POOF~!

"Squeak?!"

The now 2 bright green hamsters made the sound of surprise while the rest stared in surprise.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Or in Amity's case, laugh her lungs out as she needed to hold onto Luz for support.

Luz: Ooh, could I do that!?

Neo: I'll teach you that at some point, say aren't hamsters rodents?

Luz's eyes and tail shot up as she turned to the transformed teens, who stared at Luz in confusion. That soon turned into fear as Luz had a wide grin grow on her face and her pupils dilate.

Luz: Food~!

"SQUEAK!!!"

Seeing that made the 2 run away in fear with Luz hot on their tails, Amity laughing even harder than before.

Soon he turned them back.

Right~ as Luz pounced on them.

Edric: FINAL-OOF!!

CRASH!!!!

Amity and Neo flinched at the sight when Luz crashed into them, right into a bookshelf. Emira and Edric were dazed as their heads hit the shelf painfully and Luz sprawled over the 2 of them.

Edric/Emira: Oowwwww.....

Luz: Hehe, sorry... instincts took over...

Neo: Kitty kitty.

He said as he rubs under her chin.

Luz smiled as she soon stood up while the Blight twins were left in the ground in pain. Amity was still giggling as she walked over and stood by the mentor and apprentice.

Amity: Oh man, THAT was funny!

Emira(grunting): Not for us...

Amity: Hence why it was funny!

Luz rubbed their back of her head in embarrassment as she looked around, noticing a poster.

Luz: Oh, hey Amity!

Amity: Hm?

Luz: What's the Wailing Star Shower?

Neo: You ever heard of a wishing star Luz?

Luz: Yeah, all the time, wh-IS THAT A THING HERE!?!?!?

She began slowly, till she jumped up in a shout while bouncing in place and excitement.

"SHHHHH~!!!!"

Luz(low): Sorry....

Neo: Well it makes books come to like so it could maybe make Azura come to life.

Luz/Amity: IT COULD!?!?

"SHHHHHH, QUIET!!!"

Luz: Sorry!

Amity: A-are you serious Mr. Neo?! That sounds amazing!

Neo: It is... Mittens~!

He said with a teasing tone, making Amity look completely red as she hid her face against Luz's shoulders who gently pat her back.

Luz: There there.

She said before looking at Neo.

Luz: Is that why the library will be closed for it? To prevent people abusing them?

Neo: Yes, well there is another reason.

He said with a giggle.

Luz rose a curious brow as Amity stood up and had the same expression as they looked at him.

Luz: What is it?

Neo: Because some people, namely teens, back in the day would try and have sex with some of the characters from books.

Both preteens looked completely red at that idea, Amity's pointed ears shooting steam.

Luz: Oh.... O...K...?

Amity: Wait, did you ever...

She trailed off, embarrassed that she even wanted to ask in the first place.

Neo: I had some fun when I was younger.

Luz: OK, TMI!!

She said with a burning red face and her hands raised to stop it as Neo just laughed at how red they looked.

Amity: S-so, N-Neo... w-what type of m-magic do you use?

She asked, hoping to change the subject.

Neo massaged his throat and exhaled fire.

Amity: WHOA!!

Luz: Still cool!

Neo grinned as he reached behind him, holding up his magic staff.

Neo: Light as a feather yet solid as the ground.

He said as he began to walk on the air like a stair case.

Amity, Luz, and everyone else who saw it stared in wonder of how he was doing it so easily and without a glyph to help.

Amity: Just what is he?

Luz: As awesome a teacher as he is a warlock!

The green haired girl turned to Luz as she pointed to Neo's mid-air stroll.

Amity: Can you do that?

Luz shook her head with a small smile.

Luz: No, not yet at least!

Neo: Normally a spell like that would take ten years to master. For me, ten days.

He said while jumping off his air stairs to right back in front of them, Amity having a shocked look.

Amity: Amazing....

Luz: Yup!

Amity: C-can I... learn some spells?

She asked, unsure if he was open to the idea or if he has a limit of apprentices to train at once.

Neo: You already have a teacher.

One he disliked and was apparently Eda's sister but her teacher nonetheless, though noticed Amity looking down.

Amity: Yeah... she hasn't been teaching me these days...

Luz: Is it because of what happened at the duel?

She asked gently, the girl nodding.

Amity: I don't know if she was mad that she made me use that glyph or that I didn't win.

She said lowly and in a sad tone, making Neo and Luz share a frown.

Neo: Well do you think you could give up silly glyph magic for good?

He asked gently as Amity rubbed the back of her head.

Amity: It... may take a while to do that, but I could try.

Having been raised and trained to be able to know many glyphs, and with how often she uses them, it'll be a challenge in itself.

Neo: I'll think about for now I think we should get going Luz before Eda strangles the baby.

Amity: S-strangle!?

She asked in worry as Luz gently pat her shoulder.

Luz: He's kidding! Eda would never do that!

Luz(thinking): Least I hope...

She thought in worry as Amity sighed.

Amity: Alright, thanks you 2, today was... nice.

Luz: No problem!

Neo: Aw, Eda I see you like babies.

The Owl Lady was currently rocking the infant bat back and forth while King sat on the opposite side with a pillow tapped to his head. As they did that, a Rock Biter and Sugar Bear were busy cleaning up the broken glass and damage the baby made.

Eda: It's all I could do to calm it down from screaming.

Luz: Aw, but you look so motherly!

Eda: Say that again and I'll steal you tongue.

She threatened as Luz hid behind Neo.

Neo: See you're already sounding like a mother!
