ok so I think that when hunter goes undercover, he gets looped into the sport that willow is doing (likely flyers derby because of the poster in her room)
and then at some point, he realizes that maybe the sport is illegal, or that Viney, who's set to appear in the episode, has mixed magic.
So, he'll send them to the conformatorium, where Willow, Viney, Skara, and Gus get saved by Amity. I think they'll get saved by Amity due to abominations in the episode.
