CW: Injury

Requested! Hope you enjoy! Reader will be nonbinary/up to interpretation, hope that's alright- also, I have no idea what any of the demons are called on the Boiling Isles, so I... Kinda fudged the name of one lol

You could barely tell where you ended up. You should have known better than to try and take on that kind of demon by yourself. Thankfully, you were able to escape, but definitely not unscathed.

The demon you fought had swiped you pretty good, and had left a rather large gash on the side of your body. You managed to get away, distracting the beast with an illusion.
But now, you weren't quite sure what to do. Healing magic isn't your strong suit, and this was a pretty serious injury. Not to mention,you couldn't use healing magic if you wanted to; you didn't exactly like the idea of dying,so you had joined the illusionist coven. You also didn't have much energy at the moment, both due to using a lot of it to fight the demon, and because of the injury.

So, you decided to sit down beside a tree before your body gave out on you. You looked down, moving the shirt you were wearing to see the damage. It was pretty deep, but at least it wasn't bleeding as bad as it had been for a while.

"My, what happened to you?" You hear someone ask. Looking up, you find Adrian Graye, head witch of the Illusion Coven, looking down at you.
Even injured, you swooned over him. He isn't that much older than you, and in your opinion? He's very attractive.

"I.. tried to take on a Harlett alone, and obviously, it got the best of me." You mumble, a bit embarrassed by the failure. Rather than laugh, the coven head actually seemed a bit impressed. "A Harlett? Those are no easy task, even for witches with experience. Well, unfortunately, I don't have any healing spells. But, I can get you to the head of the healing coven. He should be able to help you."

Adrian helped you back to your feet, and started walking with you. "I admire your bravery. What's your name?" He asked. You told him your name, wincing a bit. It still hurts a lot to move around.

"Well, {y/n}, we'll get you patched up."

Once your injury had been healed, you walked around trying to find Adrian. Mostly to thank him, but also because you wanted to see him again. You found him talking with Terra, and not wanting to interrupt, you waited until they were finished talking.

When Terra walked away, Adrian finally noticed you. "Ah, hello again. Feeling better, I take it?" He says. You nodded, blushing a little. "Thanks... But, why did you help me?" You asked him.
"Well, I don't know. You're a fellow illusionist, and I took pity on you. Besides, it looked very painful." Adrian said, leaning against the wall.

"Well, I mean, I was kinda bleeding to death for a bit there." You say sarcastically. This made Adrian laugh a little. "I like you, you've got spunk. Perhaps we'll get along quite well."

Those words made you happy. A chance to become friends with Adrian Graye? Uh, yes! Maybe he'll even make you some kind of sidekick- titan, why are you such a fangirl, you wonder.
