So this is a book filled with random story of the AU where Kaito isn't Shinichi cousin and he gets turned into a child too enjoy lol

Ran: so what's this whole thing about Sonoko?
Sonoko: oh this famous director wants to create a movie featuring young actors as older characters! And most of all its a love story! The main protagonist is a princess who wish to marry a prince from another land! But her father forbids it! And yet she and her lover prevails and gets married in the end! But unknowingly theres a secret plot twist!
Ran: what is it? What is it?! Tell me!
Sonoko: I don't know yet! We gotta go in and see! All the famous rich people are here to watch it and my dad let me go watch it too! He even let me invite you guys
Hatori: ugh sounds boring
Kazuha: oh shut up you never know how to appreciate romance!

The teens all walks into the building and arrives to the room where the stage set is all prepared and they arrived right at the moment when 2 young actors were in the middle of a scene, the scene was a young prince in a white suit holding a sword facing off a thief who also wears a white suit but wears a white mask to cover his identity

???: wretched thief! Know this! Wherever your shadow goes my blade will follow! I won't rest until I capture you!
###: hehehehe oh my~ then  I'm looking forward to it my prince~ until we meet again under the moonlit night
***: and cut! Good job boys! Take 5
Ran: wow their kid actors?!
Kazuha: wish I never thought people could be so talented at such a young age!
Hatori: hold on dosent that kid looks familiar to you?
###: wow~ meitantei you were great back there! I didnt know you had acting lessons~
???: my mother was a actor genius
Ran: C-Conan kun?! Is that you?!
Conan: huh?! R-Ran oneesan! Uhhh- what are you doing here?!
Sonoko: hey we should be asking you that! Didnt you say you were hanging out with a friend?!
###: well duh! Me of course!
Hatori: and who the heck are you supposed to be?!

The boy takes his white mask off and then makes 3 yellow roses appear out of thin air

Kaito: greetings its a pleasure to meet you! I'm Edgar Poe a magician extrodinare and meitantei beloved
Ran: oh wow a magician?
Kazuha: oh roses! Cute
Hatori: hold on! What do you mean beloved?!
Conan: ah- Kaito dont-
Kaito: why I mean that in his boyfriend of course!
Sonoko: huuuuuuuuuuuuuh?!
Ran: b-b-boyfriend?!
Kazuha: Conan kun has a boyfriend?!
Conan: eh.... *sigh*
Ran: Conan you didnt told me you have a boyfriend!

Sonoko: hmp! Kids now a days think their in love! So how long have you 2 been dating huh?!
Kaito: hmmmmm~ a few months now
Sonoko: a few months?! Impossible... I didnt think anybody would be attracted to this twerp...
Kazuha: but wait... Your name doesn't sound very Japanese...
Conan: ah we were originally friends in LA but he recently moved here a few months ago so we hangout again and uhm... Started dating...
Ran: oh...
Hatori: hey Ku- kiddo come over here for a sec will ya?

Hatori grabs Conan and goes a little bit far away from the group to quietly whisper with him

Hatori: what the heck do you mean your dating that kid now?! Are you insane?! Or have you forgotten how old you are?!
Conan: ugh relax Hatori he's the same age as us
Hatori: what?! What do you mean he's the same age as us?!
Kaito: because~ I'm just like meitantei!
Hatori: ahh! Hey! Don't jump scare me like that!!
Conan: ugh... C'mon Hatori don't you recognize him?
Hatori: huh???

Conan covers a part of Kaitos head and use his other hand to make a circle on Kaitos eye, Hatori was glaring at them trying to get what Conan is hinting at then he finally realized

Hatori: KAITO KID?!
Sonoko: huh? Kaito kid?
Hatori: ah- no-nothing! I meant Kai to kid retired...?! Eheheheheh...
Conan: geez your loud...!
Kaito: hahahaha your friends are funny meitantei
Hatori: so how did he end up like this??
Conan: long story short he's being hunted down by another orginazation so he somehow got his hands on the drug and shrunk himself, the next day he shows up at the professors house like this
Kai to: I thinkered if I appear like this they won't have any idea at all! They'll think I moved away or died!
Conan: I told him there's no going back bcz of my recent efforts... We found that there's no cure... And he still stubbornly ignores it and this is what I've been dealing with for the past few months
Hatori: so what's with the dating thing? I thought you were into Ran
Conan: once I realized I couldn't become Shinichi again I made a decision... Once my time here is over I'll ask for some help to arrange a death for Kudo Shinichi and go under witness protection... I have no other choice but to start over...
Hatori: what?! Hold on isn't that too rushed?! There has to be another way! What about her?! She's your best friend what would she think if she just suddenly found you dead?!
Conan: I have no choice... I already have Ms. Judy help me set up the story, once I moved away as Conan she will set up Shinichi "death"
Kaito: its no used... I try talking to him but you know how he is once he makes up his mind...
Hatori: *sigh* so it really has to be that way huh?
Conan: yes... I can't risk the same thing happening to anyone else...
Hatori: then hey... Don't forget to call me alright? You may get a knew life and identity but I'll still be there to help you out with any case you need
Conan: thanks Hatori watch over her for me... I owe her... A lot...
Hatori: I will and meanwhile yooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu! Have the responsibility of being his boyfriend! Watch over him and don't let him make a stupid decision! Got it?!
Kaito: relax! Of course I'll protect meitantei! I'll stay by his side until he's my husband
Conan: pfftt don't get ahead of yourself, I doubt I can tolerate your shenanigans for that long
Kaito: heeeeeeeeeeey! Meitantei is so mean!
***: boys! Your scene is coming up next!
Conan: coming!
Kaito: c'mon let's go!
Ran: I have to ad it those 2 do look really cute together
Sonoko: hmp! Their ok I geuss, kids and their puppy love
Kazuha: hahaha... C'mon how about we find somewhere to sit down...

After another scene was taken, Conan and Kai to was sitting down and having tea with some sweets

Ran: hey Conan kun can you please tell me the secret plot twist of the story? Pleeeeeaaaaase! I'm dying to know!
Conan: huh? Well its not really a secret one chan, the plot twist was that behind the scenes the brother of the protagonist was also in love with a infamous thief, they first became rivals before soon falling in love, then 1 day the thief stopped stealing as he reveals his true identity to the prince, the thief was a prince too and wish to take the prince hand in marriage, sadly the prince knows that they will be executed if they were to get together so the thief soon leaves but he promises to come back for the prince, he did and they did eventually become lovers
Ran: wow... So who's playing as the prince and the thief?
Kaito: us obviously! I'm the handsome thief and meitantei is the cute prince!
Ran: ehehehehehe...
Kazuha: but I do wonder... Edgar you have been calling Conan kun "meitantei" all the time and Conan kun you have been calling him "Kaito" a lot too, is that your nicknames?
Kaito: o-oh! Yes it is! I call him "meitantei" because he's my detective~ and he calls me Kaito because its like the word Kaito as in phantom thief in Japanese! I'm his phantom thief!
Kazuha: oh that makes sense
Ran: wow now I'm really excited to see how the movie turns out!
Kazuha: yeah me too!
Hatori: yeah after you spoiled the movies plot twist
Kazuha: ugh shut up!

Days pass by and they have finally polished the movie and it was ready to watch! Everyone was gathered inside a private movie theater to watch the movie, everyone was very impressed by the acting and visuals of the movie as many emotional roller coaster was in every scene of the movie and now is the final scene of the movie

The thief walks to the garden behind the castle as the sun slowly rises, he takes off his mask as he sees his lover the prince who was standing in the garden watching the sun rise, he approaches the prince slowly as sorrow takes over him

Conan: so... Your really leaving... Huh
Kaito: yes... I am but please... I still want you to be with me...!
Conan: no... Cant you see it? I love you but if our family were to find out they will harm you... I can not bare it... We can't be together
Kaito: no I refuse to subcom to a fate where I can't have you by my side! I promised my love... I will return... And I will have your hand in marriage not your father not my family no one can stop me from loving you so...! 
Conan: hehe.... And when that time comes... I'll be waiting for you...
Kaito: I will come for you... I promise

They both shared a brief kiss then the thief leaves leaving the prince to stand there sadly watching the love of his life walks away, it transitions to a time skip where the prince stands outside the garden now all grown up, he was standing there watching the sunset but he suddenly heard the sound of a horse approaching, the prince turns to the side in shock as a familiar face gets down from the horse and looks at him with a gentle smile, he approaches the prince and kneeled down on 1 leg and takes the princes hand

Kaito: I said I would come back wouldn't i?
Conan: my love...

The prince hugs the thief with tears of joy in his eyes as the movie ends with them both getting married

Ran: *sniff* I think I'm gonna cry...
Kazuha: I know! I'm so happy for them!
Sonoko: ha...! T-theres nothing emotional about this movie at all...! Its was just- oh who am I kidding?! Im so glad their finally married!! Waaaaah!
Hatori: omg you ladies are embarrassing!
Conan: hehehe... Not embarrassing as saying "my love" over and over again...
Kaito: hey c'mon! It fits! Besides you look cute when you blush like that!
Conan: ehh I like the thief better with the mask on
Kaito: meitantei is so mean!
