“Yep, let’s finish this,” I replied, standing up with him. We walked towards opposite sides of the center of the Hunger Deens Arena and turned to face each other with cocky smirks on our faces.

His rubber covered axe, Betty, in hand, he sprinted towards me, roaring loudly, as I ran towards him with my iron sword in hand and a grin spreading onto my face. We jumped up onto the small shelter in the middle and our weapons clashed fiercely, both of us threatening to fall off the edge of the structure.

Once I gained my balance, I was met sword to axe with Jerome, who had obviously balanced himself before I, so I did one of the only things I could and, being underneath Jerome, kicked him in the legs, knocking him down. I got back up and saw him hanging on the very edge of the roof of the structure, so I, clearly being the only logical person in this facility, did the only logical thing that I could do. I held my foot above his fingers and crouched.

“Jerome, I killed Mufasa,” I whispered before I stepped on his fingers.

“NO!!!!!!” he yelled, laughing slightly. He didn’t fall very far down, but I was still the King of Pride Rock and that’s all that matters. Once he hit the floor, he muttered a small ‘oof’ and got back up.

“HAIL HYDRA!!!” I screamed at him as I crawled on all fours on the roof, hissing at him from above.

“I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY!!” he hollered back, jumping back up to meet me in combat again. His axe once again met with my iron sword, both of us quivering at the force we were using against each other. Our weapons clashed over and over again, the loud sounds of our battle causing powerful sound waves, as my feet began to tremble.

Suddenly, the building collapsed underneath our feet and sent us falling upon sharp bits of metal. Both of us knowing well that where we fell was a matter of winning or losing, we both angled ourselves towards the metal and attempted to land unscathed.

Jerome snatched the metal spikes that had been caused by the fall of the ceiling and pushed them out of the way so that he could land on a fairly smooth floor, while I grasped a particularly large piece of metal and pushed off of it to land on all four of my limbs on a clear area of tranquil land. Panting, we dove right back at each other, our weapons clashing once more. Clash after clash, our arms grew more and more tired. We didn’t have a lot of energy to begin with, and all of this fighting definitely wasn’t helping. My footing was getting weaker and sloppier, but his concentration was breaking off from me, leaving us even.

Jerome’s strength boosting him greatly, I was definitely at a disadvantage. Deciding I had to change up something if I wanted to win this fight, I back flipped into the air and grabbed Jerome’s axe in between my two feet. I held my hands out towards the ground and did a back handspring while I threw Betty into the air with my feet.

The axe landed in my left hand before I spun it around and held it up threateningly. Glancing nervously at Betty, Jerome pulled out two iron swords covered in rubber and ran at me once more. Mainly attacking my left side, he persisted over and over again to break the weapon that was protecting the left side of my body.

Turning my back to the rubble, I made sure that my right side was facing Jerome so that he had no choice other than to fight my iron sword instead of my newly claimed diamond axe. Successful in my attempt to throw Jerome off of my previously used axe, I fought, with great difficulty, against both of Jerome’s weapons with only one hand.

My right arm tiring quickly, Jerome was gaining on me slowly. His swings refused to weaken, but where he was swinging weren’t the most effective points, and we both knew that. Nevertheless, Jerome’s attacks remained relentless and strong. Dodging an attack to my chest, I fell to my knees to duck under  his iron swords, my head pushed back with all of the flexibility in my body to keep from my own defeat.

Holding the handle of Betty in my mouth, I stabilized my weight with my left hand and swung my legs out from underneath me to kick Jerome in the legs, knocking him over.
Now in a Spider-Man like posture, I smirked at my boyfriend as I took Betty’s handle out from between my teeth with my right hand, which was still holding my iron sword. He laid on the floor, still panting breathlessly, before he slowly pushed himself up, the rubble around him shaking with the tension in the air.

Standing up before him, I tossed Betty into the air and caught her with my left hand. Running to meet each other in the middle, we prepared to clash weapons once again.

However, I was not ready for his next move.

Jumping over some rubble, Jerome grabbed a large, sturdy chunk of metal and used it to swing himself around, his legs now aimed at my chest. My eyes wide, I jumped up as high as I could and spun to avoid the attack, but I was far too late and Jerome’s foot nailed me in the knee, injuring it badly.

I cried out a bit and landed wobbly, noting to myself that he could tell that I was in pain. Heaving myself back up, I forced myself to stand even if my leg might be dislocated. Jerome momentarily glanced down at my leg before his eyes flickered back up to my eyes, calculating my next move. Knowing that there was no way for me to hold my ground, I looked around at my surroundings to seek any advantage that I could find, the trees swaying softly in the wind.

My brain thinking as quickly as possible, I resorted to throwing chunks of rubble at the bacca in front of me. The projectiles slowed Jerome down, but there wasn’t much some metal scraps can do against a human with super-strength and a lot of battle training. After sighing in bitter defeat, I clutched my iron sword tightly in one hand and quickly trading in Betty for a stone sword and stepped backwards with my right foot, my uninjured leg, to hold myself up.

Putting away one of his iron swords so that he could hold the other with both hands, Jerome brought down another mighty blow upon me, giving me mere seconds to block it with both of my own swords. Struggling to keep up my defences, I grunted in pain and pushed against Jerome’s sword lock, which was using up both of our energy rather quickly.

Bringing up my left foot, I kicked Jerome hard in the leg. My action caught him off guard and he hissed, reeling backwards and releasing me from the binds of his sword. Crying out in pain, I jumped at him and dropped one of my swords, wrapping one of my arms around his neck and swinging around behind him.

Holding my sword to his neck, I choked him with all of the strength in my arm. After a few minutes of both of us struggling relentlessly, he tapped out firmly.  Releasing him from my firm hold, I gasped for breath and stumbled into him. Swiftly turning around, Jerome grabbed my waist with one hand and caught himself with the other.

Once Jerome had fallen softly on the ground, he raised his other hand to my cheek and smiled. As he did this, a canon sounded, causing both of us to look up. Jerome’s profile shone down on our faces, declaring him eliminated. I looked back down at my boyfriend and smiled victoriously.

“What a handsome face up there,” I remarked, causing Jerome to laugh.

“Not as cute as your’s,” he retorted, making me blush.

“No, don’t make the Hunger Deens Champion blush. Bad bacca,” I huffed as he only smiled wider and the arena transformed into a plain, white room with the rest of the boys standing up casually. Rob, however, was sitting down next to Seto, both men having a tired look on their faces.

Preston was leaning against the wall next to Rob with Brice sat comfortably next to Seto. Lachlan stood up tall with an arm around a weary looking Vikk, while Sky stood watch to make sure that no one randomly passed out while standing up.
