At this, he began to wake up, making me smile lightly, before he blinked a few times to adjust to the light around him, smiling at me a little. After he sat up fully, Rob kissed me softly on the tips of my nose, causing me to pull back, blush, and giggle a little bit.

We turned our attention back to the battle in front of us after I was pulled onto my lover's familiar lap and had my hair nuzzled thoroughly while Vikk began to groan from his spot in Lachlan's arms. Mitch, panicking because he did not have a close range weapon with him at this moment, looked around and picked up an iron sword, probably figuring that when a better, more suitable weapon wanted to show up, he'd take that one.

Knowing that Mitch really was not the best with close combat yet was certainly a master of the bow and arrow, Ender Shadow flew directly at the boy in the checkered hoodie, his eyes widening before he rolled out of the way as to avoid the quickly approaching attack. However, the benja's menovers didn't last very long against the almighty Ender Shadow, Warrior Princess of the Ender Kingdom, and he was quickly knocked into Elizabeth right after she sat up.

Lucky's eyes immediately widened only moments before he went to help his girlfriend sit back up while Shadow shakily walked over to us. Gently picking up his boyfriend, Jerome lathered Mitch in small kisses, causing the Canadian to giggle and laugh. Liam walked in and wrapped an arm under Shadow's shoulders to help her walk as Seto and Brice jogged in with a bag of different healing potions.

"You guys definitely improved since last time considering the fact that there was two of us, but you still need more work. Then again, I gotta admit that you guys did a number to us, " Shadow chuckled nodding towards Elizabeth who appeared to be a little dizzy in her lover's arms, causing the rest of us to break into small giggles.

"Not funny," she replied, ducking her head into the crook of Lucky's neck.

"Little funny," Tyler replied over the intercom.

"Just little bit," Ty laughed.

"Your attack's are easy to predict and your agility isn't exactly the same as it was before, but that's normal for people who haven't had to fight a battle for over a year. You know what that means?" Shadow asked with just a small hint of teasing in her voice.

"More training?" I groaned, snuggling further into Rob's soft blue hoodie.

"Yep!" Beth replied, smirking a little.

"Not right now though. After that sparring match, both of you need a break, and hey! No uncontrolled Ender Shadow this time!" Jason joked playfully.

"Oh shut it Jay," Shadow rolled her eyes with a smile, her wings holding into her back once again and her tail wrapping around her body until it seemed to mold itself back into the girl.

"Make me," Jason taunted, his voice lower than normal so that it would seem a little more threatening.

~~Mitch's POV~~
"WAKE UP YOU HAVE TRAINING TO DO!!" Adam screamed, sprinting into the room and jumping on Jerome and mine's bed.

"And who's waking up the other four?" I groaned softly, pulling the covers over my head.

"Elizabeth should be doing backflips on the Bed of Vikklan and Ty is probably softly shaking Poofless awake, and if that doesn't work then he will shove them off of their bed," Sky shrugged casually. Come to think of it, this is normal for him, I'm sure of it. I thought to myself with a small mental chuckle.

"Jerome, Honey, we have to get up," I whispered fondly, starting to sit up slowly.

"Do we get food before training?" Jerome grumbled curiously.

"Oh not if you don't want to throw up," Adam laughed simply as Jerome pouted.

"Alright, I'm up," Jerome yawned. "Sort of,".

"Ok. I GOTTA GO WAKE UP MITHROSS NOW BYE!!" Adam screamed before he hurried out of our room. Grabbing a change of clothes and my bow and arrow, I took off my pajama shirt to get changed, causing a certain bac behind me to whistle playfully.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," I joked as I put on my creme colored long sleeve shirt.

"I don't need a picture if I'm never going to forget you," he replied cheesily, a blush rising onto my face, as he walked over to his own suitcase and pulled out a hoodie and some jeans. I threw on my own jeans along with my favorite checkered hoodie while Jerome finished putting on his outfit. I started walking to the door when I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pull me away from my destination.

Turning around, I wrapped my arms around my boyfriend's neck and kissed him passionately before we heard Max and Ross screaming for Adam's mercy.

"Heh, guess we better get going," I laughed, kissing Jerome on the cheek.

"Yeah, I guess so," he smiled.

"I HOLD NO MERCY NERDS!!!!!!!!" Adam screamed at Ross and Max, who were rushing to get him out of their bedroom or at least shut him up.

"TY!! YOUR LOVER BOY NEEDS TO BE CONTAINED!!" I screeched through the base, causing a short brunette in his favorite white hoodie and a pair of grey joggers.

"Honey? Let Mithross get their beauty sleep, ok? They worked hard yesterday with Dan in the security advancement lab. They were up late Babe," Ty reasoned. Upon hearing this from Ty, and only Ty, Sky froze in place and walked out the door, closed it, and wrapped his arm around Ty's waist to lead him to the kitchen, the hybrid couple seemingly long forgotten.

"Alright, training?" Jerome asked before I nodded and took his hand. Walking hand in hand to the training room, we met up with Poofless and a very bruised legged Vikklan.

"I am never sleeping in at this place ever again," Lachlan complained, lazily hanging his arms off of Vikk's shoulders. Nodding in agreement, Vikk, who was wearing shorts as if to prove his boyfriend's point, pointed to his uncovered, black and blue legs when Rob and Preston over looked at him with a confused glance.

"Preston, Roberto, I think that you two are the only ones who didn't wake up to loud yelling and lots of jumping," I chuckled, grateful for my currently intact legs.

"Yeah doods, you got Ty to wake you up. We got Elizabeth and Adam," Jerome yawned.

"Oh, that explains it," Preston laughed lightheartedly.

"Alright, what's going down today?" Vikk asked with a small sigh, being hugged tight to Lachlan's chest. We were literally blown to the floor by Adam's gasp into the microphone.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! TODAY, I PRESENT TO YOU, OUR FIRST NON-ANNUAL HUNGER GAMES!! MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!!!" screamed the adult as we were teleported onto six different podiums surrounding a pile of loot.

"Today, we have fifteen totally fully matured adults constantly watching all six contestants' every move on our monitors. They will create challenges when they see it necessary and Lucky will be our spectating commentator for everyone in their rooms or in the kitchen, so, Lucky, we're going to you!"

"Thank you so much for that lovely introduction Adam and yes everyone, you heard right, today we shall be hosting the world's first non-annual Hunger Games! Why we've decided to call it the Hunger Games when it has nothing to do with hunger and has very different strategies of preparation compared to the movie that we mostly know and love is a mystery to us all! Today, our six willing competitors who totally knew what they were getting themselves into will be fighting to the absolutely real death against each other in this arena using weapons and supplies that they find within the arena! There will be no sponsors. May the greatest tribute win and the odds be ever in your favor!" Lucky exclaimed cheerfully.

"3!" Ty and Shadow yelled.

"2!" Ian and Aphmau hollered.

"1!" Jason and Tyler cried.

"GO!!" Adam and Elizabeth bellowed.

Smiling to myself silently, grateful for this mini game, I sprinted away from the center as quickly as I could, Jerome having the same idea. I found seven chests within two minutes and simply took everything out of them before climbing up the trunk of a tree to scroll through my inventory.

I ended up with an iron sword with the sharp edge of the blade covered in rubber - which would break, rendering the sword 'useless', when it had taken the same amount of damage that it would take the sword to break - two stone swords with the same sharp edge treatment, a diamond, several iron ingots, a gold ingot, an iron chestplate, a budder helmet, leather leggings, iron boots, gold boots, a golden apple, some sticks, an iron axe with a rubber edge casing, an apple, some steak, a bow, and eleven safety tipped arrows.

I kept what I didn't need out of concern that someone who did need it would find it and part of my strategy after I decided that I needed to keep moving, running through the thick forest trees as silently as I could as to minimize my presence.

Eventually, I discovered a certain Aussie Boy climbing up a tree to reach a partially covered supply chest and proceeded to shoot an arrow towards his back, but Lachlan was way too quick and backflipped off of the tree trunk, grabbed the projectile, and landed smoothly on both feet, staring into my eyes as intimidatingly as he could, which wasn't and couldn't have been much considering that I had literally just seen him affectionately bury his face into Vikk's raven black hair, while cursing Elizabeth under his breath. He ran towards me with an iron sword in his left hand and a budder sword in his right hand before he slid towards me in an attempt to knock me off my feet. The move was so sudden that I barely had the time to yelp and jump out of the way, only to have my sword matched against both of his at the same time, causing me to reach into my inventory and call upon one of my stone weapons.

He swung towards my abdomen, but I blocked his strike just in time. He growled in a friendly but competitive manner and sent his strikes left and right, and if this was a real battle, Lachlan would be a very deadly opponent with his combined speed and strategy. Blocking his hits proved to be an incredibly difficult challenge for me, but I managed on my own by kicking him the gut so that I could catch my breath.

However, I only had a moment because Lachlan recovered incredibly quickly by pulling off a backflip, using the momentum that I had already created for him, and landing with grace before he swung both of his feet towards the left side of my knees, his left hand holding him up. Not anticipating this kind of attack from the blonde, I was knocked off my feet, which flew to the right, my body swaying to the left, so, without any hesistation, I reached to grab his legs and flipped him to the foundation, my back hurting the thick trunk of a large tree and my left hand loosing it's weapon.

"It seems we've got quite a fight here between Mitchell Hughes and Lachlan Power! It appears that both boys have been swept off of their feet and are very determined to win this fight for the sake of their distri- pride, and I honestly don't blame them, for they are both extremely legendary warriors," Lucky spoke into his microphone to our watching friends.

Groaning as quietly as I could as to not alert my opponent of my weaknesses, I rose from my crouch and ran towards Lachlan, who's ears sharply perked up at the sound of my movements almost immediately. Still lying on the floor, he threw his iron sword at my chest and threw himself into a fighting stance before I ducked under his flying blade and swung my left hand underneath myself to support my weight so that I could swing a kick towards Lachlan's side as quickly as humanly possible.

My unexpected maneuver connecting with its target, Lachlan yelped and rolled to the side to break his fall, but I was prepared. Pulling out my bow, I nocked an arrow and aimed it at Lachlan's head, its rubber tip sure to bounce off the Aussie's pale skin, which would then eliminate my rival from the game at hand. I released my shot, hoping for the best, but Lachlan caught the arrow with help from his superhuman speed and reflexes.

Jumping towards me once again, Lachlan tossed the projectile to the side and tackled me onto the ground, punching me in the face. I used one hand to protect my face while my other hand grabbed the Australian's shoulder and pulled him off of me and to the side so that I could roll in the other direction up onto my feet, my breath heavy and labored.

Wanting to make sure that Lachlan wouldn't recover before I did, I hurried over to his sweating body and placed the rubber covered edge of my iron sword on his neck, causing him to playfully 'tap out'. I let out a small breathy laugh and tossed my sword to the side so that one hand could support my weight on my knee while my other hand reached down to help Lachlan stand. He laughed a little as well and gratefully took my hand as he stood to his full height.

"Thanks Mate," he breathed out, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Any time dood. Cya in a bit," I replied, clapping him on the back in a friendly way.

"Cya mate," Lachlan breathed heavily, taking off his armor and slinging the swords he found across his back. Taking his leave, Lachlan stalked off into the trees towards the exit, which he would find eventually as long as he kept walking in the same direction."Now that's real friendship! I know multiple people who would've laughed in my face and playfully insulted me if I were in Lachlan's position... cough Elizabeth cough Shadow cough," Lucky announced, clearing his throat towards the end of his statement.

Elizabeth, in turn, shot a nice block of TNT at one of the cameras that Lucky was viewing the game through.

I smiled at the explosion sympathetically and heard the sound of a cannon fire, notifying everyone within the arena that a tribute has been defeated. As the cannon sounded, a picture of Lachlan in his Starbucks uniform at the register popped in front of me as a message of who was currently leaving the arena. Launching myself up the tree that Lachlan had been climbing when I found him, I stealthily dug my fairly short fingernails into the thick bark of the tall plant until I had reached the canopy. I can't climb into the leaves.

They'll make too much noise and Jerome's super hearing would surely inform him of my location... which wouldn't be that bad I guess... I thought to myself, amused that I was trying to hide from my beautiful boyfriend. I looked over the canopy as much as I could to look for any of my opponents before my arm bumped into a chest. HOW THE HECK DID THEY EVEN GET THIS THING HERE?! I shouted in my head, shaking it with amazement and a little humor, pleasantly running my thumb over the latch of the single chest.

Inside of the chest, I found a few more rubber tipped arrows, a rich steak, some thick rope, and a wooden axe with the same rubber covering as all of the others. It wasn't long before my hearing picked up on the quiet footsteps of a very closeby tribute.

After about half a minute of seeking, I found a sneaky little Robert sneaking through the sneaky little bushes. I debated on my next move for a few moments before I nocked my arrow, before I held my bow up to aim at his head, knowing that the arrow was crafted to act like a real arrow, but bounce of any target that it was to hit. That's the way training works here.

Once Rob had stopped showing signs of movement, I released my arrow to let it soar through the air, which I think is the most beautiful thing about arrows. They flow through the air with a sense of direction and purpose. The hands of a person chooses where the arrow flies, like destiny, and the bow and string guides it, like a friend or a lover. Rob perked up only a second after my arrow was fired and he dove for shelter at the very last moment, his eyes searching his surroundings for anything out of place.

Once his blindly wandering eyes finally rested on me, I waved at him, and he waved back before he pulled out a budder axe. Ok wait, what is he going to do with that? I asked myself as the blue hooded boy walked casually towards the large tree that I was perched in, taking off the rubber cover on the axe.

Making mischievous eye contact with me, Rob smiled and waved playfully before he hacked away at the base of the tree with as much force as he could muster, terrifying the heck out of me. I searched frantically for a way off the tree, seeing as I was on the tallest tree that I could find in the area, and, eventually, I found a tree that wasn't too far away, but it wasn't that close by either.

Gulping down my anxiety, I gripped the rope from my inventory and tied it to one of my arrows, glancing down to check on Woofless's progress every now and then. After I was sure that the knot was securely tied to the arrow, I took off its rubber cover and sent it flying into the trunk of the other tree, the rope just long enough for me to hold onto from my own tree that Robert is so rudely cutting down.

Gosh Robert don't you know that we need to save the trees?!

I screamed at my close friend in my own consciousness before I quietly chuckled at my own joke.

The arrow plunged itself deep into the trunk of the other tall tree, so I gripped the thick rope in my sweating hands and pushed off of the branch of the large living chunk of nature that I had been standing on for quite a while now, holding my breath so that I wouldn't scream and probably alert everyone in the arena of my location. I kept eyes open as much as I could so that I wouldn't slam directly into my target by accident.

My feet landed gently on the brown wood and I let my nails sink into the bark before I continued my trek to the ground, tugging on the rope so that I could bring it with me in case I needed it later. Slowly prowling down the tree, I watched Rob cut down the tree that I was creeping in earlier as he began to break into a sweat. Once approximately a minute and a half had past, Rob finally noticed that my weight had left the tall tree and he glanced around nervously for a few dreadful moments. Eventually, he laid his eyes upon me and threateningly narrowed his normally cheerful and comforting brown eyes. I swallowed the lump in my throat once again and hurriedly scrambled to meet the floor of the forest.

Unfortunately for my poor soul, my opponent reached the base of the thick tree before I did and was able to put the rubber covering of his weapon back on before the sound of a cannon fired. The two of us took a moment of peace to see who had been eliminated by who, and when I realized that Preston Arsement was eliminated by Jerome Aceti, my boyfriend, I also realized that I was stuck with a now bloodthirsty Robert Lately.

My toes only meters from the ground, I contemplated for a few seconds on whether I should run or climb back up the tree. I chose the first option. Sprinting as fast as I could, I used every advantage that I could find and every last drop of adrenalin left in my body to run for my life with Rob screaming in anger, which would soon fade after one of us was defeated since this is just a game but we both still want to win.

He was close on my trail and I had been using everything in sight that I could. Every survival skill and tip that I had ever been taught, by someone else or by experience, ran through my brain as I raced into the desert biome of the map. There's no losing him now... I thought angrily. I recalled everything in my inventory as sweat drizzled down my forehead, my feet pounding against the soft sand underneath me.

Rob, clearly not giving up anytime soon was roaring behind me, only fueling what little energy I had left in my body to clear my system of any leftover fat on me and turn it into more energy.

Somehow, I stumbled across a flower forest with a panicked look still plastered on my face. As much as I would love to stop and make a flower crown - and I know that Rob had an even stronger urge to do that just because he's Rob - I kept running, almost crying from how tired I was. Rob was still trailing close behind me when I spotted him, my savior.

My savior's name is Vikk.

When he first saw me, a look of panic flashed across his face due to how fast I was running towards him and also the fact that I'm supposed to be really good at this game, but he quickly readied his stance into one of battle. Seeing that he thought that it was me he thought he was going to be fighting, I shook my head violently, pushing through some bushes. It was after I was only feet in front of him when Vikk recognized Robert behind me and understood the message that I was trying to get across to him. He turned to run, but it was way too late for him. I grabbed him by the shoulders and set him directly behind me, right in Rob's path. He gasped and I ran off on my own, hearing nothing but the clash of rubber covered weapons in my wake.

I would have collapsed to the ground if Preston hadn't caught me and Jerome helped me stand.

"Whoa, Mitch, dude are you okay there? What happened? Are the cannons not working cause I didn't hear anything after mine?" Preston asked rapid fire hot questions.

"Jerome," I wheezed.

"Yeah Babe?" he asked with concern.

"Did you have to kill Preston at that exact moment? Come on man! We were just about to fight!" I choked out with slight amusement. They both blinked for a moment before realization struck them, and the three of us all burst into laughter. Another cannon fired off, causing us to look up to the sky, and we spotted a large picture of Vikk with Rob's name at the bottom.

Jerome and Preston looked at me questioningly and I briefly explained that Rob had been chasing me and I had pushed Vikk in his way as soon as I could, along with the fact that if we wanted to win this Hunger Games, Jerome and I were going to have to climb a tree. Even if there would be a two against one fight, this is bloodlust Rob we're talking about. There's no stopping him for now.

Preston, having no desire to follow us up the tree whatsoever, opened up his arms to the trees in the direction of Robert, who proceeded to burst through the tree line and almost fall on top of Preston. He skidded to a stop right before Preston, who then giggled giddily, before Rob practically melted into his arms. The taller brunette pressed a kiss into his lover's hair before they parted and Preston walked to the edge of the dome, Jerome explaining that he was walking Preston to the edge of the dome cause he was going in that general direction to look for loot when he had found Preston, who had gotten stuck in a tree and didn't want to start a forest fire because we need to save the trees.

"Hi Robby..." Preston whispered softly into Rob's neck, smiling oh so lovingly all the while.

"Hi Sweetheart," Rob laughed, his hands still firmly on Preston's hips. The two broke apart as Preston made his way to the exit and Rob started to walk off to find me, but that last one was quickly interrupted by my burst through a tree.

"HEEEEEEEEERE'S MITCHELL!!!" I hollered, scaring the heck out of Robert.

"MITCH WHAT THE HECK?!?!" he cried, holding his axe in front of him with a grin on his face. I shrugged playfully as I saw Jerome jump away from tree to tree to find more supplies within the arena. The boy in the blue hoodie chuckled before he swung his axe at my waist.

As quick on my feet as I could be when I raised my leg to kick my friend in the arm and punched him in the chest, my forearm in a bit of pain as I raised my bow and arrow and aimed it at Rob's chest. However, a few moments after I released the training arrow, the already tired boy reached up and caught it, his arm moving faster than I ever thought something that wasn't Lachlan, a sorcerer, or some other being of teleportation or speed or maybe even both ever could. He stared deep into my soul and swung a sword towards my chest, but I dodged and backed away.

Heaving my iron sword towards his shoulder, I ended up blocking his weapon from hitting me as I pulled out one of my two stone swords to strike at his stomach. He grabbed the sword carefully yet still swiftly out of my hands and tossed it to the side. We hacked away at each other's weapons, too wise to strike with our limbs in case our opponent takes advantage of that. We fought, evenly matched, for what seemed like an hour until we both knew that this was just going to wear ourselves down and become no match for Jerome. Because of this, we both took a moment to take a breath, drop our weapons, and beat each other up.

I was punched in the gut and kicked in the face multiple times until I had finally gotten him to given up. However, the relentless fighter had multiple bruises lining his jawline, a few on his sides, a few on his chest, a black eye, bruised up legs, and what was probably a broken rib or two before he gave up, which probably gives the viewers a good idea of what I look like.

(A/N That's not a fourth wall break. He means the viewers as in people watching the stream.)

My left hip had at least four bruises, my right side had a couple bruises as well, and my nose was probably broken while my legs were black and blue. I had a few bruises on each of my arms and a broken rib as well, my chest bruising nicely.

Rob laid on the floor, coughing up blood, as he tapped my arm, which was choking him, to signal his defeat. I released him immediately and helped him sit up, his healing ability kicking in as the bruise on his neck began to fade and the other visible bruises began to heal.

The creaking of his broken bones soon stopped, but by then Rob's eyes were drooping to a close. Wiping away the leftover blood from his mouth, I leaned Robert against a tree and sighed, unsure of how long it would take for Rob to be able to leave the arena on his own. The familiar sound of teleportation could be heard from behind me, causing me to turn around, and I found Sky standing casually standing behind me.

"He's not in good condition Mitch. I'll get him out. The contestants in the actual Hunger Games didn't have to leave by themselves when they were eliminated! Why should he?" he joked light-heartedly.

"Thanks dood," I replied, smiling.

"No problem man, you did a number to him," Sky joked.

"Hey man, look at what he did to me!" I chuckled, gesturing to the rest of my body. He let out a small laugh before he fist-bumped me and picked up Rob, teleporting away soon after.

"Wow, I don't think I've ever seen such a lengthy fight between two good friends! I've never even see an argument between Max and Elizabeth over the last serving of mac n' cheese last that long!" Lucky commented, laughing all the while.

Gosh, he could be a YouTuber. I thought to myself as I took a breather.

"Now, let's take a look at our second remaining tribute while Robert is healed, Preston panics, and Mitch suffers throughout all of eternity. Oh? What's this? Mitchell, it appears that Jerome is inviting you to meet him in the center for the final battle. Good luck."

Jerome, what are you planning? I wondered to myself quietly, sighing. He's a good sport.

~~ Roses are red, violets are blue, time skips are fun, and so are you! ~~

"That must have been a long fight," Jerome called out when he heard me coming.

"Yeah, I wish I had a big, strong bacca to help me," I laughed, making my way past a few bushes. We were still about half a mile away, but our improved senses really help when we're constantly listening for traps and springs. He laughed too and it was almost strange how clearly I could hear it.

"Come over here, I want a fair fight, no traps. Traps won't help us in the real fight unless we get a lot of time to prepare, so I don't see any point in using them in training," Jerome explained from half a mile away.

"Alright, I trust you," I replied, stumbling through another bush and hobbling past another tree, my legs almost too weak to keep me going. Eventually, I did make it but I was really tired by then. When I arrived, Jerome was smiling happily. However, when he actually saw my condition, his smile fell and ran over to me.

"I don't know whether I should call you stubborn or tough," he muttered under his breath as he helped me walk over to sit under the roof of a small shelter in the very center of the entire arena.

"Do I get to choose?" I joked, a small smile on my face. He smiled and pecked me on the lips, applying a healing potion to my wounds.

"No sweetheart, you don't," he chuckled, dabbing a piece of cloth soaked with healing potion on my nose softly. He smiled at me adoringly as he pressed the cloth to my aching legs and stomach. Once we were out of potions, the only thing that hurt was my mildly dry throat, but that could wait for now.

"Ready?"
