Brody's POV

The following days were simple just doing missions from the job and wanted boards after everyone morning meeting and getting rank points after every mission.

Today it looked like it was going to be the same "AND....THREE! SMILES GO FOR MILES!" We all said "Ok, pokemon! Time to get to work!" Chatot said "HOORAY!" We all said andneveryone went their ways "HEY, you two!" Loudred said walking over to us "We need your help with something today!" He said and we followed him to Diglett "Diglett, I brought them!" Loudred said "Thank you, Loudred" Diglett said "You two are doing sentry duty today!" Loudred said "Sorry. I'm usually the one to do sentry duty" Diglett said "But today, my dad gave me his duty of updating the boards" He said "That's why I can't man my post" He said "It would be great if someone could take over my sentry duty for today" He said "And that's why you're here. Please do a good job for me. Bye!" He said and left "....And that's THAT" Loudred said "Huh?! I didn't follow that at all! Why are we involved in this?" Sim asks "Shut your YAP!" Loudred shouted making us trip "NO MORE BELLYACHING! GO DO YOUR DUTY!" He said "Ow.....My head is pounding...." Sim said and after a bit we got up "What are we supposed to do?" Sim asks "Climb down this hole and stand guard. You're on sentry duty!" Loudred said "Sentry duty?" Sim asks confused "You heard right. Sentry duty" Loudred said "We can't have suspicious characters coming into the guild" He said "So we station a sentry below the guild entrance to evaluate pokemon visitors" He said "When you first came, you had your footprint evaluated, right?" He asks "My footprint? What do you....?" Sim asked and we remembered when we first got to the guild "Oh, now I remember! There was that weird hole in front of the gate...." Sim said "I stood on the grating, then someone shouted up at me. It was startling!" He said "Ok, you want us to climb down this hole. And then?" He asks "The tunnel down there leads to the sentry post" Loudred said "Diglett burrows through it and pops out underneath the sentry post" He said "From the sentry post, Diglett inspects the footprints of visitors, identifies them, then informs me" He said "Then I decide if the pokemon is suspicious or not and open the gate if he passes muster" He said "So we serve as the guild's gatekeepers. That's the gist of it" He said "Look, all you two have to do is inspect, the footprints of visitors, then tell me what pokemon they are" He said "All right? Understood?" He asks "Understood" I said "Good! Then let's get to WORK!" Loudred said "Buck up and do a GOOD job!" He said and Sim and I went down.

"Ack! It's pitch black in here, Brody...." Sim said "We'll have to feel our way..." He said "Well, we should be getting close to the sentry post..." He said "Oh! There! I see light, Brody!" He said and we look up to see the hole that's outside the guild "HOW'S IT GOING?! Have you taken position at the sentry post?!" Loudred asks "Yes! We're in position!" Sim said "GOOD! Pokemon visitors will step onto the grill above the sentry post!" Loudred said "Identify them by footprint, then inform me! Got that?!" He asks "Yes! Understood!" Sim said "GOOD! Let's get started!" Loudred said "Look at the footprint. Then identify the pokemon!" He said "You can only get two wrong, ok? Sim will keep an eye on things!" He said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Octillery's! The footprint is Octillery's!" I said "Heard ya! Come in, visitor!" Loudred said letting the pokemon in "...Yep! Looks like you're right!" He said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Lombre's! The footprint is Lombre's!" I said "....Yep! Looks like you're right!" Loudred said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Persian's! The footprint is Persian's!" I said ".....Yep! Looks like you're right!" Loudred said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Nidoking's! The footprint is Nidoking's!" I said "....Yep! Looks like you're right!" Loudred said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Totodile's! The footprint is Totodile's!" I said "...Yep! Looks like you're right!" Loudred said "Here comes a pokemon! Check its footprint and tell me what it is!" He said "Whose footprint is this?" Sim asked me "The footprint is Torterra's! The footprint is Torterra's!" I said "...Yep! Looks like you're right!" Loudred said "Sorry to keep you waiting" Diglett said "Sim and Brody! That'll do it! Now get back here!" Loudred said and we did.

"You've done an honest day's work!" Chatot said "Let me review your sentry-duty performance..." He said "Well, well! Your results were.... completely perfect!" Chatot said "You identified every visitor correctly!" He said excited "Excellent!" Loudred said "We did it!" Sim said to me happy "We'll reward your effort! Generously, I might add!" Chatot said "You all deserve an especially large reward!" He said. As a reward for a job perfectly done, our team...received 500 poke! In addition, we received a Joy seed! Not only that, our team also received a Ginseng! But that's not the end of it! Our team also received a Life Seed! So many rewards! Can you believe it? "Keep up the good work!" After another great dinner, Sim and I went to our room "We should get some sleep too" Sim said "Let's make tomorrow another good day, Brody!" He said "Ok, goodnight!" He said and we lay down cuddling up to each other going to sleep after our first time of doing sentry duty.
