"All right! Here we go today!" Chatot said "Our morning cheers! All together now!" He said "ONE! DON'T SHIRK WORK!" Everyone said "TWO! RUN AWAY AND PAY!" Everyone said "THREE! SMILES GO FOR MILES!" Everyone said "Ok, pokemon! Get to work!" Chatot said "HOORAY!" Everyone said and went their ways. "Brody! Lets do our best on our guild assignments today!" Sim said to Brody and Brody nodded. Watching them from the stairs was Bidoof "Brody's team...They're so happy today, yup yup!" Bidoof said "I'm....I'm not giving up either! Yup yup!" He said.

Bidoof's POV

My name's Bidoof. I'm an apprentice at the guild. Before Brody arrived, I was the newest apprentice here. Yup yup! My....my dream is...to do my best at the guild....study...And someday... Someday I'll be the best explorer ever! Yup yup!

That's right! My dream is to be the best explorer!

*At Bidoof's home*

To do that...I've come to the most famous place among explorers...I've come to train at Guildmaster Wigglytuff's Guild! Yup yup!

"Well, I'm off!" I said to my mom and siblings "Please say hello to everyone in the guild for me. Yup yup!" Mom said "Oh....And be careful!" She said "You're kind of a big eater...Don't you go eating anything weird!" She said "Remember....If you get in trouble, you can always come back home to us" She said and I sniff "M-Mama..." I said "Do your best, Big Bro!" My brother said "Take care!" My sister said making me sniff again "You guys..." I said and I nodded confident "I'm fine! Don't you worry about me! Yup yup!" I said "When I come home, I'll be big! I'll make you proud of me!" I said "Just wait and see!" I said starting to walk away "By golly, everyone! I'm off!" I said and I walk away "Do your best!" My family said as I see them waving goodbye.

So I left my hometown...And entered the Guildmaster's guild as an apprentices. But the training at the guild....For me, was...More difficult than I thought...

"HEY! Not YET?! You're SLOW, BIDOOF!" Loudred shouted "Yes! I'm here!" I said walking to Loudred "Whew...Sorry to keep you waiting. Here it is! Yup yup!" I said "Here's your Reviver Seed!" I said giving him the seed "Wh-what....IS this? HUH?!" Loudred asks "THIS is a DOOM Seed, ISN'T it?!" He asks "NO, GENIUS!! BRING me the RIGHT one!" He said "Eeeeeeeek!!" I said.

Sniff...Didn't matter what I did, I would always mess it up...And then another time...

I was eating an apple alone in the mess hall in the morning "I wonder what this is! It's so yummy! Chomp chomp!" I said "Oh? Bidoof? What are you doing here?" Chatot asks walking over "Huh?" I ask and look at Chatot "Oh....That?!" Chatot said "That is...The Guildmaster's important..." He said "P-Perfect Apple?!" He asks "Huh? Perfect Apple? Golly, is that what this thing here's called?" I asked "It's so tasty and impressive. Yup yup" I said and finished eating it happy "Thanks for the grub!" I said excited "W-wait...did you seriously eat all of them?" Chatot asks "Yup yup! Oh! Sorry! Did you want one too, Chatot?" I asked "If you would have told me, I would have left you one..." I said "What....what did you do...." Chatot said "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He asked "Uh-oh! Was it...Golly, did I do something wrong..." I said "More than wrong!!" Chatot said "If his favorite Perfect Apples are all gone..." He said "The Guildmaster...The Guildmaster!!" He said ".....Oh no....OOOOOOOH NOOOOO!!" He said "It will be horrific! As punishment, you'll go without dinner! Got it?!" He said angry "B-But....*sniff* Golly, I didn't mean it..." I said.

Sniff, my hunger just gets me into trouble...And I couldn't eat my favorite meal of the day...Sniff...

Golly, I thought I was doing my best... But I always mess things up, every time...I guess I just don't have what it takes to be an explorer...I'll never be the best explorer...I just can't do it....I was really beginning to think that...But...then...That...That... happened....

"THREE! SMILES GO FOR MILES!" We all said "Ok, pokemon! Get to work!" Chatot said "HOORAY!" We all said and everyone went their ways "Hey, Bidoof" Chatot said stopping me "Yes! What is it?" I asked "Today's assignment" Chatot said "Please go to Kecleon Market and find out how many Oran Berries they have for sale today" He said but I stay silent "......Huh? What's wrong, Bidoof?" Chatot asks "You're always doing little errands like this. It's nothing too difficult" He said "Golly, it's not that..." I said "Just that I seem to always be running errands..." I said "What I really want is to get exploration assignments. Yup yup..." I said "Don't you think I can do a job from the Bulletin Board sometime?" I asked "What? This isn't a joke!" Chatot said "If I let you do one of those assignments right now..." He said "How badly do you think you would mess it up?!" He asks "*sniff*...Then I'll just....I'll just..." I said "The story of my life...Yup yup..." I said "....Bidoof. Don't be so impatient" Chatot said "You're just a little slower than everyone else" He said "*sniff*....Golly, you don't have to be so direct...." Don't worry. Inventory inquiries are no problem. Really" He said perking up "....What have you come to check on?" Kecleon asks "Oran Berries. Really sorry to bother you....Sorry" I said "No, no. It's no bother at all" Kecleon said "Let's see...Oran Berries....We have two in stock today..." He said looking "Two of them. Ok, thanks!" I said "Do your best at your work!" Kecleon said but I didn't move "....Huh? Is there something else?" Kecleon asks "N-no. Well, there's nothing more I need to do..." I said "I just....have a little problem" I said "Oh...what kind of problem?" Kecleon asks "It's ok to ask me about it. Come on, spit it out!" The other kecleon said "....The truth is that no matter what I do...I always seem to mess it up..." I said "I'm always making mistakes at the guild...." Purple Kecleon said "But you think that's too expensive, right?" He asks "*Sniff*....No.... Please hold on a moment..." I said "*sniff*... what should I do....? Should I buy it? Shouldn't I? I don't know...." I said and turn around "To tell you the truth....I've got the money for it, but..." I muttered "I've got my own money.... I always carry it with me.....7000 poke" I mumbled "But....but this money...." I mumbled.

"Th-this money?!" I asked mom "Take this with you. It's a farewell gift" Mom said "I always knew this day would come....so I've been saving up, little by little" She said "Please use it in case of an emergency" She said "*sniff*... M-Mama..." "*sniff*....This is the emergency money I got from mama" I muttered "I can't just spend it carelessly...." I said and started to walk away when I saw a Snover stop by "Erk... scary..." He said "Umm.....Umm.... What should I do..." He said and walked over to me "Excuse me! H-hold this!" He said giving me something "Huh....Golly, what is this?" I asked and the pokemon runs off "Hey! You...wait!" I said "....Just now.... What was that, anyway....?" I asked and a Bagon walked over to me "Hey! You!" Bagon said "Yes?" I asks as a Gligar comes over too "Did you just see a lone pokemon run through here?" Bagon asks "A pokemon....? Let me see..." I said "Come on! We're in a hurry!" Gligar said "Quit taking your time and just spit it out already!" He said "Eee.....Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek! S-scary!" I said "Hey, hold on, Gligar" Bagon said "White body, looking kind of nervous. Did you see him?" He asks "Um....Uh...Th-that is..." I said "He went that way...." I said pointing "Let's go!" Gligar said "Yeah!" Bagon said and the two went that way "*sniff*... They were pretty scary" I said "I'm not very brave, so I don't want to have anything to do with pokemon like them...*sniff*..." I said.

*Later at the Guild*

"Everyone! Thanks for waiting!" Chimecho said floating over "I finished making dinner!" She said "YEAH!" We all said and went to have dinner.

*Later at Bidoof's room*

"Phew....Today was a really long day, yup yup..." I said and looked at my roomates Corpish and Loudred "Those two are already asleep" I said "I'll have to get up early tomorrow... Guess I should probably get to bed too, yup yup" I said "Good night, you all" I said and fall asleep.

....Not for long as Loudred kept me awake with his loud snores "*sniff*... He's snoring too loud...I can't sleep..." I said "...I could wake him up but he may get angry and that'd be scary..." I said "....Speaking of scary!" I said "Those two I met earlier today...Those pokemon sure were scary, yup yup..." I said "...Just before those two showed...there was that pokemon that seemed to be running away and then disappeared..." I said "That pokemon....He was probably being chased by those two scary pokemon..." I said "I hope he's alright..." I said "That's right! He gave me something" I said and took out what he gave me "This is pretty old....It looks like a map" I said "....Huh? There's some kind of mark. It looks like there's something written" I said "Star....Cave...?" I read "At this marked spot...seems there's place called Star Cave?" I asked "Somehow I just get a feeling...There has to be something really special there" I said "I have to sleep if I want to do any good at training tomorrow..." I said and slept as much as I could with Loudred's snores.

*Next Morning*

"HEY!! GET UUUUUUUPPPPP! IT'S MORNING!!" Loudred shouted "H-huh....?" I asked "How LATE will you SLEEP!" Loudred said and walks away "Oogh.....Whose fault do you think it is I can't get up in the first place....?" I asked getting up and walked over.

After the morning routine everyone went their way "Huh? Something wrong, Bidoof?" Chatot asks as I haven't moved "Quit staring off into space, and get to your assignments" He said "...Chatot....do you know anything about a place called Star Cave?" I asked "Star Cave? Hmmm.... Yes, I think I've heard of it" Chatot said "Huh?! Really?!" I asked "Yes. Of course I have" Chatot said "I am like an encyclopedia after all! Hee hee hee!" Chatot said "Well....Star Cave is a legendary place, but nobody knows where it is...." He said "N-nobody knows? Golly...." I said "That's right. It's a legend that's been passed down for generations" Chatot said "The truth is buried in history" He said "But according to the legend.... Deep within Star Cave..." He said "The rare pokemon Jirachi lies sleeping..." He said "It's said that if you can wake Jirachi...He'll grant you a wish" He said "Huh?! He'll grant you a wish?!" I asked "A wish....A wish-granting rare pokemon...." I said looking into the distance "His name is Jirachi?!" I asked "He...Hey, Hey! It's only a legend!" Chatot said "I already said that nobody knows where the cave is, didn't I?!...HEY!" He said "....Hey, Bidoof. Bidoof, what are you thinking of? Bidoof?" He asked 'If I meet Jirachi...He can grant my wish' I thought 'That could be my dream...' I thought 'My dream--to be the best explorer ever...Jirachi can make it come true, yup yup!' I thought 'And I've got that map with Star Cave marked on it...' I thought 'I've got that map in my possession now, yup yup!' I thought 'Roght now, I'm...I'm... I'm the only one who knows where Star Cave is! Just li'l ol' me!' I thought 'Th-this... this is...So cool! So awesome! Yup yup!' I thought 'I'm so happy, I could bust!' I thought smiling "Hey" Chatot said snapping me out of my thought "....Huh?!" I asked and looked at Chatot "Are you all right, Bidoof? You kind of spaced out for a while" Chatot said "And you were smiling to yourself" He said "Something happen?" He asks "Nope! Nope, nope, nope, nope!" I said quickly "N-nothin' at all! No sirree!" I said "I wasn't thinking of anything! Not about Star Cave! Golly, no!" I said "....Is that so?" Chatot asks "You say you weren't thinking of anything...But that's a bit suspicious...." He said "Eeek!" I said 'I gave myself away!' I thought "With that mischievous smirk, you had to be thinking of something, don't you agree?" Chatot asks "Like you were secretly excited about something...." He said "B-but...." I said 'Th-that was to the point!' I thought "Like you were so excited about somwthing that you thought you would just bust..." Chatot said "N-no, nuh-huh!" I said 'How in the world did he know about that!' I thought "HEEEEEY! BIDOOF!" Loudred shouted "Yes! What is it?!" I asked "You've GOT a VISITOR!" Loudred said "A visitor?" I asked walking to him "Yeah, THAT'S right. They're WAITING by the GUILD entrance" Loudred said and I went to the entrance.

At the entrace it was the pokemon I saw yesterday "You're from yesterday!" I said "....Y-yes. Nice to meet you. M-my name is Snover" Snover said "I'm really sorry to have caused you trouble yesterday" He said "Never mind that....What about those scary pokemon that were chasing you..." I said "A-are you all right?" I asked "Y-yes. I'm ok. But..." Snover said "Truth is I had a bit of a scary encounter..." He said "Whaaaat? Scary encounter...What happened?!" I asked "After we met, I tried my best to run away..." Snover siad and explained what happened.

"Eek! That sounds pretty scary!" I said "Oh! That reminds me!" I said "That thing that Bagon and Gligar were looking for....was it...." I said "That's right. That thing I gave you yesterday, Bidoof...The ancient map" Snover said "Yesterday, I was sure if I held on to that map, it would get stolen from me..." He said "So I decided that I had no choice but to hand it to someone..." He said "After I gave it to you. I asked around Treasure Town about you... They all said that it was probably Bidoof from this guild..." He said "And so I came here to thank you" He said "I'm really sorry....To have caused you so much trouble" He said "No, no! You don't have to apologize, by golly!" I said "I've been thinking...About that map you handed me..." I said "Is it really a map to Star Cave?" I asked "That's right" Snover said "It's said that's where the rare pokemon Jirachi lives..." Snover said "He can grant any wish. That's why those two pokemon chased me" He said "Speaking of which....I have a request to make..." He said "Yes? What is it?" I asked "W-would you....come with me to explore Star Cave?" Snover asks "Whaaaaat?! Really, you want little ol' me to come along?!" I asked "Yes. I really want to meet Jirachi and make a wish, but..." Snover said "But....I'm not strong enough to make it very far by myself...." He said "So I was hoping you would come with me, Bidoof!" He said "You seem dependable. There's nobody I'd rather go exploring with than Bidoof!" He said "It's a sudden request so I hope I'm not bothering you?" He asks "Not at all! Yup yup! The truth is I was thinking of making a wish too" I said "It's ok! I really want to go to Star Cave too, yup yup!" I said "Really?! YAY! I'm so happy!" Snover said "If we work together....We can definitely meet Jirachi!" I said.

So that's how Snover and I decided to go to Star Cave together. Yup yup! But... I had guild training to do, yup yup... So....

"Whaaaaat?!" Chatot asks "You want to take time off from guild training?!" He asks "By time off, I just mean a couple of days. Yup yup" I said "What is your reason for wanting to take time off?" Chatot asks "Huh? R-reason?" I asked "The reason I want to take time off...um....um..." I said "O-oh! I haven't been feeling good lately! Yup yup!" I said "My stomach really hurts....Ooogh..." I lied "Your stomach hurts? You, the one with the cast-iron stomach?" Chatot asks "Last night at dinner you were the only one to ask for seconds, am I right?" He asks "And now you're saying that your stomach hurts?" He asks "Ooogh....I ate too much..." I said "....I see. This seems really strange..." Chatot said "....All right. Your request for a day off is granted" He said "Just don't cause any trouble for other teams, ok?" He asks "*sniff*....Thank you...." I said.

Sniff...I ended up suddenly having to lie to Chatot...But...But...but it's all right. My dream....If I can make my dream of becoming the best explorer ever come true! If I can do that, then maybe I won't mess up guild assignments anymore....And I won't cause trouble for anyone anymore. Everyone will be so happy! Yup yup! This is a rare chance! I've got to take advantage of this chance! I've just gotta! Yup yup!

"We should make sure we prepare before going out exploring...." Snover said "But I don't really want to do anything that would draw attention to me..." He said "Bagon and Gligar are still looking for that map...." He said "They might be hanging around here. It's kind of scaring me...." He said "I've got it! You just leave the exploration preparations to me. I can do it...." I said "And you should hide somewhere, Snover. Stay out of sight" I said "I'm sorry. I'll find a hiding place right around here" Snover said "When you're ready...I'll slip away and join you" He said and walked away "Got it! All right, I need to head into Treasure Town and get ready to explore" I said "I'll do my best!" I said going into town.

*Some preparations later*

"Bidoof!" Snover said coming out of hiding "Looks like we're ready" He said "All rght, let's go explore Star Cave" He said "I'm a bit nervous..." He said "Its all right, yup yup! We don't have anything to worry about when we're together!" I said "Y-yeah!" Snover said "Let's do our best! Yup yup!" I said and we take off to Star Cave.

*Later*

It was tough cause Snover started hail everytime we entered a new floor but eventually we reached Deep Star Cave.

"....Huh? This...This looks like a dead end" I said "This looks like the deepest part...The depths of Star Cave..." I said "Where's Jirachi?" I asked "Heh-heh!" Someone laughez "Wh-who's there?!" I asked "Gwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!" Someone else laughed "Wh-who....is that?!" I asked "You really are gullible!" Someone said "To come trustingly all the way here!" He said and a bagon and a gligar revealed themselves landing infront of me "H-huhhhh?! Wh-who are you?!" I asked "Long time no see!" Bagon said "Haven't seen you since we met at Treasure Town!" Gligar said "Wh-what....are you doing here?!" I asked "Jirachis place in Star Cave is..." I said "I thought me and Snover were the only ones who had the map and knew how to get here...." I said "Wh-why are you... Why are you here?" I asked "Humph! Jirachi was never here" Snover said "Whaaaat?!" I asked "Star Cave, Jirachi, they were all made up" Snover said "They never were here from the start. That's what I'm saying" He said "You were tricked into coming here....by us...you see" Bagon said "Wh-whaaaaa?!.....U-us? What do you mean, 'us'?!" I asked "We're the band of thieves, Team Rogue!" Bagon said "We trick our marks and take what we want..." Gligar said "We're thieves! We're rogues! Do you get it yet? We're the bad guys! Gwah-ha-ha-ha!" Gligar said "And I'm their leader..." Snover said "The great Snover!" He said "Eeeeeeek!" I said shocked "That time...When you were standing in front of Kecleon's shop, stewing..." Snover said "Right then, we were watching you!" He said "When you pulled out that big wad of money....What a mark!" He said "I suddenly had an idea" He said "I thought that money was ours to take" He said "But....if we mugged you right then and there, there would have been an uproar" He said "That's why we put on this little show...to lure you out here..." He said "*sniff....then" I said "The story about Star Cave and Jirachi is...?" I asked "A conplete fabrication" Snover said "You see, we were pretty excited when we laid our hands on that Ancient Map..." He said "Wishes come true here, so we heard. We could get rich!" He said "So.....We came here to find out!" He said "But there's nothing here. It's just a dead end" He said "We were so disappointed. It's just a fake. The map, that is" He said "Still angry, we came to Treasure Town... and there you were" He said and the three walked closer cornering me with Bagon and Gligar infront of me and Snover behind me "Too bad...Your money...we're taking it!" Snover said "Prepare yourself!" He said and a fight started.

I tried to fight them but it was useless and Snover pushed me "*sniff*...It's too tough..." I said losing "Humph....Even though you're weak, you're going to resist and make us ask?" Bagon asks "Hurry up and give us your money!" Gligar said "N....no... That money....is very important to me..." I said "Who do you think you are...?" I asked "Argh! This one's really stubborn!" Snover said "Hey! You! We'll take it by force if we have to!" He said "YEAH!" Bagon and Gligar said "WAAAAAIT!!" Someone said and it got darker "Huh?! What?!" Snover asked "One! Don't shirk work! Two! Run away and pay! Three! Smiles go for miles!" I know that. It's!

The light was back to normal and I saw everyone from the guild here "Wigglytuff's Guild is here!" Chatot said "Uh-oh!" Bagon said "E-everyone..." I said "You! Don't you dare pick on our apprentice!" Chatot said angry "You BETTER be READY!" Loudred said "Huh! What do we do?!" Gligar asks "Going up against the famous Wigglytuff's Guild..." Bagon said "W-wait! Don't run away! Don't believe the worldwide reputation and rumors!" Snover said "Jirachi's not in this cave! Never has been!" He said "Y-you're just scared of Wigglytuff's reputation of being really strong!" He said "Let's go, you guys! We'll take them on too!" He said "YEAH!" Bagon and Gligar said "Let's go everyone!" Wigglytuff said "YOOM....TAH!" He said and we got ready.

With everyone's help Snover, Gligar and Bagon stood no chance and were taken out quickly.

"St..." Gligar said "Strong..." Bagon said "Eeee....Eeeeeek!" Snover said and the three run away "Maybe you should stop your wrongdoing! Hey, hey!" Corpish said "Are you all right, Bidoof?" Chimecho asks "*sniff*...Thanks, everyone" I said tearing up "It was because you all came to help that I'm all right..." I said "But...What are you all doing here?" I ask "Chatot told us about you acting strangely" Sunflora said "Ch-Chatot did?" I asked suprised "You were acting really strange..." Chatot said "Daydreaming..." He said "And then suddenly you wanted to take the day off" He said "So I talked to the Guildmaster..." He said "And secretly followed you to see what you were up to" He said "I-is that so....?" I asked "I...I will say this one thing..." Chatot said "It wasn't because I was worried about you...No, I didnt think I'd tag along because I was worried at all!" He said "You were acting really strange..." He said "I thought maybe you were deserting the guild...So I had to see for myself. That's it!" He said "Don't misunderstand!" He said "Meh-heh-heh! Well put!" Croagunk said "WELL said! TRULY!" Loudred said "Chatot, when you told everyone about Bidoof..." Corpish said "You really were worried about him. Hey, hey!" He said "B-be quiet!!" Chatot said angry "As for everyone coming along....At first, it was going to be myself and the guildmaster coming to your rescue, Bidoof..." He said "But in the end, everyone wanted to come along! HUMPH!" He said "Because..." Loudred said "Once we heard you were acting strange, Bidoof...." Corpish said "We couldn't ignore it" Sunflora said "We've always been strict teachers in your training..." He asks "They shouldn't have just given up and gone home! Hey, hey!" He said "Huh? But there's nothing here, right?" I asked "The cave just comes to a dead end right here..." I said "Jirachi's not here, right?" I asked "Hey, Bidoof. Did you FORGET? We're an EXPLORATION team" Loudred said as Wigglytuff looked around "Don't make fun of the Guildmaster's guild!" Chatot said "Hmmm...Probably... Right around here" Wigglytuff said "Oooooo....YOOOOOOOM... TAAAAAAAAH!" He shouted using hyper voice and the wall collapsed revealing a way further in "There's a huge opening there!" I said "Th-there's more to this cave?" I asked "All RIGHT! Let's GO!" Loudred said "I bet that the rare pokemon Jirachi is there!" Chatot said "We should all think about what we're going to ask for! Hey, hey!" Corpish said "Oh my gosh! I'm so excited!!" Sunflora said "Everyone....wait a moment" Wigglytuff said "It's too bad.... But not everyone can go ahead" He said "WHAAAT?!" Everyone asked "Wh-why NOT? Guildmaster?!" Loudred asked "This exploration.... This is Bidoof's exploration" Wigglytuff said "Whaaaat?! Mine?! By golly!!" I said "Yep. Bidoof's" Wigglytuff said "You're the one who's got this map, Bidoof.... And you're the one who's adventured all the way here" He said "That's why.... You should go ahead alone, Bidoof" He said "Yeah... When you say it like that..." Corpish said "That's the way it should be..." Sunflora said "We can only help you this far. The rest is up to you, Bidoof" Wigglytuff said "Use your own strength.... And do your best to have a successful exploration!" He said "*sniff*.... Guildmaster... Thank you so much, yup yup...." I said "Bidoof! Do your best!" Chimecho said "Be sure to tell us all about your exploration later!" Diglett said "Do your best! Meh-heh-heh!" Croagunk said "*sniff*....Everyone... Thank you all so much..." I said "Ok then...I'm off, yup yup!" I said and walked off.

Third Person's POV

Everyone watches Bidoof go in "...There he goes, hey hey...." Corpish said "Anyway, Guildmaster... You were cool today, as always..." Chimecho said "You think so?" Wigglytuff asked "YEAH. Handing OVER the EXPLORATION to Bidoof was a very GENEROUS gesture, I THINK" Loudred said "BECAUSE Jirachi WILL grant WISHES, you know?" He asks "SO... You COULD have made a WISH.... For all the PERFECT APPLES you CAN eat! HA HA HA!" He said "Oh..." Wigglytuff said thinking about it "Of course the Guildmaster is just wonderful!" Sunflora said "His personality and presence.... He has such a commanding aura...." Dugtrio said "We're all proud to say that we're apprentices in the guild! Hey, hey!" Corpish said "I also joined the guild because I admired you, Guildmaster!" Diglett said "Everyone.... Our wonderful Guildmaster's best pupil is..." Chatot said "...Me! And don't you forget it!" He said "....All right, I'm going" Wigglytuff said "Hey!" Diglett said "EVERYONE! Stop the GUILDMASTER!" Loudred said and everyone went to hold Wigglytuff back "Guildmaster! You can't do that!" Chatot said "Oh my gosh! It was challenging but I finally reached Star Cave Pit "I've come pretty far..." I said "Golly, this here looks like another dead end, yup yup..." I said "Is this here really.... really the deepest point in the cave?" I asked "......Phewwwwww..." Someone said "So sleepy..... Yaaaaaaaawn...." He said "Where is that voice...?" I asked looking around "W-wait a minute.... Is that voice....?" I asked ".....Whooo iis iit?" He asked "Whoooo's therrre?" He asked "You mean me? I-I'm Bidoof" I said "Who are you?" I asked "Meeee?" He asked "Fwaaaaahhhhhhh.... I'm... I'm..." He said and appeared infront of me suprising me "I'm Jirachi. Yaaaaaawn...." Jirachi said "J-Jirachi! You're THE Jirachi, aren't you?!" I asked excited "Mmmm-hmmm....That's right..." Jirachi said "Speaking of....Whoooo are yooooooou? Yaaaaaaawn..." He said "I'm Bidoof" I said '....Didn't I already say that....?' I thought "U-um" I said "Whaaaaaaaaaaat? Zzzzz.....Snorf..." Jirachi said "I heard that you.... That you can grant wishes, Jirachi..." I said "Is it really true?" I asked "Yep, it'sssss truuuuuue. Yaaaaaaawn...." Jirachi said "But right now, I'm pretty sleepy, so I can't really help you. Sorrrrrry... Zzz..... Zzzz.... Snorf...." He said "And... I usualy toss and turn in my sleep.... Zzzz....Snorf..." He said "So, if you're nearby.... I will probably attack you... Sorry if I do.... Zzzzz.... Snorf..." He said "Wh-whaaaaaaat?!" I asked "....Yaaaaaawn... I'm so sleepy..." Jirachi said and a battle started?

I manage to win.... I guess? It seems that fight woke up Jirachi at least "Wh-what's....going on?!" I asks as it started shaking and it stopped as Jirachi fully woke up "Hah! All right, I'm fully awake!" Jirachi said "So, si awake! Ahhh!" He said "My name is Jirachi. Um... Who are you?" He asks "I'm Bidoof" I said 'Golly, how many times do I have to tell him?' I thought "Okay. So, Bidoof . You better listen well" Jirachi said "I grant wishes for those who manage to wake me up" He said "Waah! All of a sudden!" I said "I-I'm not ready for this yet....!" I said "Ahem... All right, I'll listen" Jirachi said "What is your wish, Bidoof?" He asks "M-my wish...My wish is.... Ummmm... Uuuuuuummm..." I said thinking it 'That's right' I thought 'My dream. It was. To become the best explorer ever, yup yup' I thought "Huh? Something wrong?" Jirachi asks "What's your wish, Bidoof?" He asks but I stay silent "Something wrong? You don't have a wish?" Jirachi asks "M-my dream..." I said "Is to become the best explorer ever, yup yup" I said "The best explorer? Got it. That's pretty easy!" Jirachi said "Ok, here we go!" He said "Uwaaaaah! W-wait a moment, please!" I said "Huh? What is it?" Jirachi asks "Golly, well, my dream is to become the best explorer ever, that's true..." I said "At first I thought I'd come down here and ask you for that, yup yup" I said "B-but I'm giving up on that plan" I said "Truly? Why?" Jirachi asks confused "Because.... Because I've come to see it's not something you can wish for, by golly" I said "You've got to work hard.... Once you've really done your best...put in the effort, then you can feel like a worthy explorer" I said "You gotta have lots of experiences....lots of feelings and memories...." I said "Those are the ways you learn, grow, and get better, little by little. Yup yup" I said "Yes sirree, I got a lot clearer on all this stuff during this adventure" I said "So my wish to be the best explorer ever..." I said "Jirachi... I'm not asking you for that anymore" I said "....I see...." Jirachi said "Well spoken. So you don't have any wishes?" He said "What you've just said.... It shows something about you. Not everyone can resist being greedy" He said "You're a good pokemon, Bidoof. I've come to like you" He said "So, if you don't have a wish right now..." He said "Oh!.... W-wait just a moment, please! Yup yup!" I said "What is it?" Jirachi asks "You just said a nice thing about me not being greedy, Jirachi...So maybe I shouldn't ask...." I said "It's all right. Go ahead" Jirachi said "If...you'll still grant me a wish..." I said "I wish... I wish for a buddy who I could teach stuff to" I said smiling "A buddy? You're training at the guild, aren't you, Bidoof?" Jirachi asks "So... you want a buddy, Bidoof? Someone you can show around and give a helping hand to?" He asks "That's right. During this adventure, I..." I said "Golly, thanks to the Guildmaster and everyone in the guild caring about me... I feel so incredibly happy. Yup!" I said "But... I don't want to get used to it and start acting spoiled or anything" I said "That's why... That's the reason I'd like a pal or two" I said "If I had a buddy... A pal I could share what I learned with, I'd...." I said "Get better and better as I push forward, know what I mean?" I asked ".....Yes. Got it" Jirachi said "Your wish, Bidoof... I will make it come true" He said "R-really?!" I asked excited "Yep. Maybe it won't be soon..." Jirachi said "But sooner or later, you'll see some new faces at the guild" He said "You should look foward to it" He said "Thank you.... Jirachi...." I said "Thank you so much.... *sniff*...." I said.

And so.... And so my exploration of Star Cave came to an end, yup yup. And now...

"Huh? Brody" Sim said "Your eyes look a bit puffy, Brody... What's wrong? Couldn't sleep?" He asks "Your eyes are the same too" Brody said "Huh? Mine too?" Sim asked "I see. We're pretty busy every day with assignments, aren't we?" He asks and the two laugh "We've just entered the guild, and there's still so much we don't know, but..." Sim said "Let's keep at it!" He said smiling at Brody and Brody nodded.

Really...There really is a new apprentice! And not only that... There are two of them! Sniff...
