Third Person's POV

It was the middle of the night and everyone was asleep in the guild minus Chatot who looked around as he made his way to Wigglytuff's room "Guildmaster...It's Chatot" Chatot whispers "I'm coming in..." He whispers going inside.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting. Here's your Perfect Apple!" Chatot said putting the apple infront of Wigglytuff "Yay! Thank you!" Wigglytuff said grabbing it and balances it on his head "This is the last time!" Chatot said sweatdropping "Each night I sneak away from everyone and bring you a Perfect Apple from storage..." He said "I'm fed up with it!" He said "Please, let me stop doing this!" He said "I'm begging!" He said '....That is, the Guildmaster...would sneak in and eat one anyway if I didn't bring him one...' He thought and suddenly Wigglytuff dropped something "Oh!" Wiggytuff said worried "Is this....a Defend Globe?" Chatot asks "....It's all right. It's not damaged" Wigglytuff said grabbing it in relief "That's good. I thought it got chipped or broken when I dropped it" He said "Hee-hee! That's kind of a rare item for you, Guildmaster" Chatot said "You're usually pretty rough with items, Guildmaster..." He said "But it's nice to see there is an item that you take good care of" He said "Guildmaster is always taking care of Perfect Apples..." He said '...That is, he's like that again today' He thought "That is, it seems like that Defend Globe is a very precious exclusive item, isn't it?" He asks "But....This item only has an effect on Bug-type Pokemon..." He said "So even though you're holding on to it, Guildmaster, it's not very useful, is it?" He asks "Yes. I know you're right..." Wigglytuff said "But...But this is a special thing" He said "Special thing?" Chatot asks "Yep. Special thing" Wigglytuff said "It's why.... When I decided to become an explorer...." He said "The starting point" He said.

Wigglytuff's POV

Way back when...Yep that was back when I was still a small child...I wasn't Wigglytuff yet...This was back when I was still an Igglybuff.

Igglybuff's POV

Wigglytuff: There everyone lived an easy life...It was a very peaceful prairie...

Wigglytuff: I was raised in that little house...I lived happily there with my parents

I yawn waking up and Papa and Mama notice "Good morning, Igglybuff" Papa said "Yep, good morning! Papa. Mama" I said "Hey, Igglybuff" Mama said "You've got plans to play with your friends today, right?" She asks "I bought a bunch of Gummis. Take some to share" She said giving them to me "Yep. Thanks, Mama" I said happy "Igglybuff!" We hear from outside "Igglybuff. Let's play" They said "Look....Your friends are here" Mama said "Be careful...Come home before it's dark" She said "Yep. I'm off!" I said and walk out my house.

Outside, my friends Wooper, Smoochum and Budew were there "Oh! Igglybuff!" Wooper said "Hi, everyone!" I said "Yay! Let's go! Lets go!" Smoochum said and we walk to the small field close to my house "Hey, what should we play today?" Budew asks "Let's play in the mud!" Wooper said excited "Yuck! I don't want to!" Smoochum said angry "It's unladylike to get all muddy! Smooch!" She said "I brought some Gummis. Would you guys like one?" I asked "Yay!" Budew said happy "I want one!" Wooper said happy "I love Gummis! So, so much! Smoooooches!" Smoochum said happy and I handed some to the three "Hey! You guys!" Someone said and we look over to see Banette and Skorupi walking over "Th-them?!" Wooper said a he, Budew and Smoochum take a step back.

Third Person's POV

"The bullies, Banette and Skorupi!" Smoochum said "Oh" Banette said "Hey, Igglybuff. You've got gummis?" He asks "Give us some gummis too" Skorupi said "Lots. Bunches. Heaps of them" Banette said "Yep, sure! Friendly friends!" Igglybuff said innocently "Why is Igglybuff making friends with those bullies?" Smoochum asks "I sometimes play with Banette's group..." Wooper said "But they always boss me around...And if you cross them, they're really mean...*sniff*..." He said "Maybe Igglybuff isn't scared of those two?" Budew asks "Gummis are so delicious! Chew-chew..." Banette said 'It's kind of weird that this guy isn't the slightest bit scared of us...' He thought "Yeah, they are so yummy! Chew-chew.." Skorupi said '...But it's fine as long as we can boss him around! Heh-heh-heh!' He thought "Hey, gimme another Gummi!" Banette said "Me too!" Skorupi said "Yep!" Igglybuff said happy "Huh?" He asks "I'm all out of Gummis" He said "I had so many of them too...I wonder what happened" He said "Sorry. Hee-hee-hee" He said "It's all right" Banette said 'Wow! I mean, we ate up all of them. Didn't he notice?' He thought "It's all right... We'll forgive you" He said "Just bring more Gummis next time" He said "Yep. Friendly friends" Igglybuff said happy "Ah...doesn't Igglybuff realize he's being played by Banette?" Budew asks "I hate that! I won't forgive this!" Smoochum said trying to walk to them but Wooper and Budew get infront "Y-you shouldn't get involved!" Wooper said "They're big and scary!" He said "Hey, everyone" Budew said "We should go talk to Igglybuff's Mama. She'll kniw what to do" He said "Yep" Smoochum said "Yeah" Wooper said.

*Later at Night*

"Sleep now sweet, little child. You are truly adorable" Igglybuff's Mama said singing to Igglybuff "Sleep now sweet, little child" She said and stops once Igglybuff fell asleep "...All right, he's sleeping" She said "Hey, Papa. I've been worried about something..." Mama said "Huh? What is it, Mama?" Papa asks "I heard from Igglybuff's friends today..." Mama said "Igglybuff is being manipulated by some bullies" She said "Some bullies?" Papa asks "Yeah. Igglybuff's friends came to talk to me about it..." Mama said "Hey, Papa. You don't think hed become like them, do you?" She asks "Sometimes, I really have no clue what that child is thinking..." She said "So I'm a little worried..." She said "Yeah...That does seem troublesome..." Papa said "But... but I think it's all right" He said "Igglybuff is still so cheerful...." He said "No matter how he may seem, deep down, he has a good heart" He said "Besides...didn't we have this discussion before..." He said "Back when....I climbed that mountain with Igglybuff. On our way home..." He said .

*Flashback*

Papa's POV

When Igglybuff and I returned from climbing the mountain...We found ourselves stuck in a sudden storm...

"S-so...scary...." Igglybuff said in tears when a lightning struck "Are you all right?! Igglybuff?" I asked "Y-yeah..." Igglybuff said and some rocks fall "Can you feel that? The storm is causing the ground to shake!" I said "We need to get off this mountain quickly...." I said "It's too dangerous to be here. Let's hurry" I said "Yeah..." Igglybuff said and we started walking when another lighting struck making us stop "Waaaaaaahhh!!!" Igglybuff said scared "I...Igglybuff!" I said worried.

And right then! This huge boulder started to fall, right above me!

"W-waaaaaaaahhhhh!!" I said looking up seeing a boulder falling above me "P...Papa!!" Igglybuff said  and I closed my eyes bracong for the impact.

"It's no good!" "I'm going to be crushed!"....And just when I thought that!

"YOOM....TAH!!" Igglybuff shouted destroying the boulder.

Somehow the boulder was smashed to pieces...I wasn't crushed by the boulder....Somehow I was saved...

*End of flashback*

Third Person's POV

"I'm not sure what happened, and I still don't exactly know what it was..." Papa said "But I'm sure that it was Igglybuff that saved me" He said "Of that, I am certain" He said "That kid has some kind of mysterious power" He said "He doesn't just have some strong power" He said "When people are in trouble...That's when it appears..." He said "I get the feeling this power is full of his kindness for others" He said "I understand your concerns, Mama....But I think we should trust our child a little more, ok?" He asks "....Yes. You're right..." Mama said "I'm sorry, Papa" She said "He'll be ok. After all, he is our son" She said "Yeah. It's a good thing to be concerned about, Mama, so don't worry" Papa said "That is, the fact that you are concerned, Mama.... It just shows how much you truly care abput Igglybuff....right?" He asks "Yeah. Thank you, Papa" Mama said.

*The next Morning*

Igglybuff's POV

"Good morning! Papa. Mama" I said waking up "Good morning!" Papa said "Good morning! Igglybuff" Mama said "Ok, I'm off!" I said walking to the door "See you later!" Papa said "Take care!" Mama said and I walk out.

I walk over to Wooper, Smoochum and Budew who were looking at Banette and Skorupi "Huh?!" Smoochum asks "You want to play explorers?!" Wooper asks "Yeah, let's play explorers" Banette said "We want to become an exploration team in the future..." Skorupi said "So we should go out and explore unknown areas! What do you think? It's great, right?" He asks "So... This unknown place... Where are we going?" Budew asks "Hmm. That's a good question. You'd make a good apprentice explorer, Budew" Banette said "We decided on a place...Murky Forest" He said "Whaaat? M....Murky Forest? Is that what you said?" Wooper asks "Smooches! No way! I don't want to!" Smoochum said "Going to that forest is not allowed at all! My mommy even said so!" She said "There's even a rumor that a big, scary monster lives in the forest!" Budew said "Why do you want to go there?" He asks "Doesn't it seem like the type of place that exploration teams would go?" Banette asks "Don't tell me.... Does that mean that you're scared to go?" He asks "N-no.... I'm not scared!" Smoochum said "It's just that you shouldn't go places you've been told not to go!" She said "I-I don't like it! I'm not going!" She said and left "M-me neither. I'm staying out of it...." Wooper said "Same here!" Budew said and the two left "What's this? They're all a bunch of cowards" Banette said "They're scared and making up all these lame excuses. It's pathetic" He said "I doubt they'll ever be a real exploration team when they grow up. Not at all likely" Skorupi said "Hey, what's an exploration team?" I asked "What?! You don't know what an exploration team is?" Banette asks "Nope" I said "But you're still here, so that means....That means you've got the courage?" Banette asks "Yup. I do" I said happy "....All right. You'll do. Come along" Banette said "Yay, thanks! Friends" I said excited "All right! Everyone, line up!" Banette said "All right. From now on, we're an exploration team headed for Murky Forest" He said "Gather up your courage and let's go!" He said "Yeah!" Skorupi said "Yeah" I said and we left for Murky Forest.

We had fun going through all 7 floors and we go past it "We....We've come pretty far..." Banette said "It's a really dark place, this is..." He said "*sniff*... Ooohh...." Skorupi said "Huh? What's wrong, Skorupi?" Banette asks "B-but... This is that place that everyone says you're not supposed to go..." Skorupi said "The... The depths of this forest...." He said "And the rumor that there's a terrible monster living here..." He said "What is it..." Banette said "Are you suddenly afraif now that we're here? I've got no sympathy..." He said "I-if you say that....You... You're making me start to feel scared..." He said and we all look around "*sniff*...Scary..." Skorupi said "There's something here, though..." He said "Don't....Don't say that! You!" Banette said "You coward!" He said "Wh-what is it?! Now that you say it... Banette, you're really scared, aren't you!" Skorupi said "S-scared? Me.... Wh-what nonsense!" Banette said "Don't pretend to be tough!" Skorupi said "Even while you're talking, I can see tears welling up in your eyes!" Skorupi said "N-no, that's not true. That's just not true!" Banette said "I-I'll show you I'm not scared!" He said "Hey! Hey, you terrible monster! Can you hear me?!" He asks "Wh-what?!" Skorupi asks "I'm the great Banette! I'm an explorer!" Banette said "We've come to beat you! So quit hiding and come on out!" He said but nothing happened "....It's...not coming out..." Skorupi said "....Wh-what's this... Not here..." Banette said "I-I knew it. I knew it all along--from the start" He said "I knew that it was just a simple rumor, nothing more" He said "There was no momster here... There never was one. Ha ha...Ha ha ha" He said laughing and we laugh with him "Everyone, let's go home!" Banette said and we turned around and "GARURURURURURUHHHHHH...." We heard "....Did you just hear something?" Banette asks "Some... I think I heard some kind of growl..." Skorupi said "GARURURURUHHHH..." We heard it again "Hey, you over there!" Someone said "Didn't you say you're an exploration team?!" He asks "Get out of here!" He said "Coming in here..." He said and runs over revealing to be a big bug type pokemon "I don't know who in the world you think you are!" He said and roars making Banette and Skorupi run away "What's this? A bunch of kids..." He said "Huh? Weren't there more of you?" He asks "You too, Junior! You better run away quick!" He said "If you stay here, something bad will happen!" He said "....Hey, mister" I said "What are you doing here, mister?" I asked "Aren't...Aren't you scared? Aren't you scared of me?!" He asks confused "Nope. Not scared!" I said "So what are you doing here anyway, mister?" I asked "He.... he's a strange little fellow..." He said "Hey, tell me? Tell, tell...." I said getting closer "I told you to go home!" He said "If you answer me, I'll go home. Answer, answer..." I said "No way! Go home!" He said "A short answer is fine. Finally fine" I said "Ugh... You're persistent..." He said "...I guess I've got no choice. I'll tell you a little" He said "Come with me" He said walking to a cave "Yay!" I said and followed him.

Third Person's POV

"Wow! Amazing!" Igglybuff soad looking around "Secret base! Secret base!" He said "Not quite. It's not a secret base, it's just my home..." The pokemon said "My name is Armaldo" He said "I used to be an explorer.... But not anymore, because of one thing..." He said "I've taken a break from exploring... And so I spend my days here" He said "So, what's exploring?" Igglybuff asks "Huh? You don't know about exploring?" Armaldo asks "Exploring is....so much fun... It's incredibly exciting" He said "So much fun...Incredibly exciting?" Igglybuff asks "That's right" Armaldo said "Distand lands, uncharted territory..." He said "You visit many remarkable places.... And solve the mysteries you find there" He said "Really?" Igglybuff asks amazed "And you get to bring back treasure and fortune with you" Armaldo said "Oh?! That's so cool!" Igglybuff said excited "And.... You have to keep at it, working hard and overcoming difficulties, until you finally achieve your dreams" Armaldo said "For example" He said and handed Igglybuff a map "For example, this secret map" He said "Open it up and have a look" He said and Igglybuff did as told "This seems to be a map that indicates the location of some treasure...Study it closely" He said "It doesn't really make sense, does it?" He asks "If I don't figure out the cipher, then I'll never be able to uncover the location of the treasure" He said "But you're just a kid, you wouldn't know anything about this..." He said "I've been working on this one  for a long time, but haven't been able to figure it out yet" He said and turns around "However, I'm not giving up! I can't!" He said excited and Igglybuff rolls up the map and holds it close to the bonfire "I know that if I can overcome this challenge, there will be a future!" Armaldo said and the map caught on fire "Thats the adventure of exploration..." Armaldo said "It's thrill! Its essence! Its never-ending attraction!" He said and looks back at Igglybuff "....Hey!" He said "Ha ha ha! Burned it, burned it!" Igglybuff said happy "H-hey! Junior! What are you doing?! Knock it off!" Armaldo said then grabs the map and starts running back and forth screaming hot "Water! WATER!" Armaldo said "Oh yeah! Water Gun!!" He said throwing the map and uses water gun "Ah oh... Ah oh..." He said "My...My precious secret map..." He said "It's...It's charred...." He said "Look!" Igglybuff said "What?" Armaldo asks "Underneath the charred parts....You can see something" Igglybuff said "If you brush away the charred parts, can you see anything special?" He asks and brushed away the charred parts of the map "Wh-what?" Armaldo asks suprised "....Right here....Isn't there something written here? Right, written!" Igglybuff said "Eastern....Ca.. ve... Easter Cave?!" Armaldo asks "R-really?! Is it true there's treasure there?!" He asks "Yep! I knew it! Ha ha ha!" Igglybuff said "That is... How did you know? How did you figure out this map's secret?" Armaldo asks "When I looked at the map, I saw it was really thick" Igglybuff said "So I figured that there must be two layers to it" He said "But I didn't think there was any other way to peel off the top layer" He said "So I thought I'd burn it off!" He said 'Th-this kid....' Armaldo thought 'I've been working on that puzzle for so long, and he solved it, just like that...' He thought 'That is, this kid....Just like that....' He thought "Hey, if you go to this Eastern Cave, would you find treasure there?" Igglybuff asks "Please take me with you! I want to go and see!" He said "B-but I'm... I'm a retired explorer...." Armaldo said "I can't just jump back in..." He said "Huh? But don't you like exploring?" Igglybuff asks "I mean.... Earlier, it sounded like you really enjoyed talking about it" He said "And you were working so hard on the secret of that map..." He said "If you don't go, it will be a waste!" He said 'T-that's' Armaldo thought 'It's true that it would be a waste not to go after solving the map's riddle...' He thought 'But I'm hesitant to leave here...' He thought 'Maybe I wouldn't attract too much attention with a little trip to Eastern Cave' He thought 'All right!' He thought "Hey, Junior" He said "You made a good point. We'll go!" He said "R-really?" Igglybuff asks excited "Yes, really" Armaldo said "But it's a little too late to start today. Your mom and dad are probably worried" He said "Today, you should go on home..." He said "Tomorrow, we'll head out" He said "Yep! Thank you!" Igglybuff said happy "All right! Let's do our best tomorrow. Yeah!" He said.

*The Next Morning*

Igglybuff's POV

"Good morning, Papa. Good morning, Mama" I said waking up "Yep. Good morning!" Papa said "Good morning, Igglybuff!" Mama said "Ok, I'm off!" I said walking to the door "See you later!" Papa said "Take care!" Mama said and I walk out the house.

"Oh! Igglybuff!" Budew said as he, Wooper and Smoochum walk over "Igglybuff, I heard that you went out exploring with bullies..." Smoochum said "Was it all right?" She asks "Yeah. I was fine" I said "Everyone went home in the middle of it" I said "Smooches! That's good!" Smoochum said "We were worried about you" Budew said "Hey, Igglybuff! Let's play together today" Wooper said "Hmm... Sorry. I've already got plans for today" I said "Plans? Where are you going?" Budew asks "Murky Forest" I said happy "Whaat?! Murky Forest?!" Smoochum said "Yup. See you later!" I said happy and walk off and soon run into Banette and Skorupi "Hey! Igglybuff!" Banette said "W-were you ok after that?!" He asks "Yep" I said happy "I can't believe you got away!" Skorupi said "I thought maybe you got eaten by that monster..." He said "??? What monster? I don't know what you're talking about" I said "I made a friend" I said "F-friend?" Banette asks "Yep--a friend" I said "I'm headed out toplay with my friend again today. See you!" I said and walk away.

*Later at Armaldo's Shelter*

"Good morning!" I said "Hey, here you are, Junior" Armaldo said "Quick, let's go let's go!" I said "No need to be impatient" Armaldo said "Before exploring, you have to make sure you're well prepared" He said "Prepared?" I asked "Yes" Armaldo said "Look at this" He said pointing a statue "What....What's this?" I asks "This is called a Kangaskhan Rock.... Here you can make a record of your adventure and sort your items..." Armaldo said "It's something you shouldn't pass up on your explorations" He said "Really?" I ask and I walk over and around the statue "Oh! Hey! Stop hitting it like that!" Armaldo said and I stop "Anyhow" He said "You can go ahead and use any items you find at the Kangaskhan Rock as you see fit...." He said "So, let's use the Kangaskhan Rock to finish preparations for our adventure" He said "Yep! Got it!" I said and after doing so I walk to Armaldo "Huh? Junior, did you finish getting ready?" Armaldo asks "Yep" I said "All right! We're looking for the treasure in Eastern Cave!" Armaldo said "Got it, Junior? You're just a beginner when it comes to exploring" He said "Don't be so impertinent, and don't hold me back!" He said "Yep" I said excited and we left.

*Later in Eastern Cave*

It was lots of fun. We went through the cave's B10F.

"....We've come pretty far..." Armaldo said "The treasure....I wonder where it is..." He said "Oh! Can you see that light over there?!" I asked "Let's go check it out!" Armaldo said.

Third Person's POV

"Wooooooahhhh! Amaaaaazing!" Igglybuff said "Wh-what's....this?!" Armaldo said as they arrived to a room with lots of mechanism "Wow! This is so amazing!" Igglybuff said happy "There's a door on the front here" He said "I think the treasure's past that door, don't you?" He asks "Hurry! Let's go! Let's go!" He said "W-wait! Junior!" Armaldo said "Whaaaat?" Igglybuff asks "Didn't you notice the design of this room?" Armaldo asks "Look carefully! There's some kind of trick to it!" He said "Trick?" Igglybuff asks "Yes. I'm pretty sure that there will be treasure. Behind that door, but..." Armaldo said "The trouble is, we need to figure out how to open that door" He said "Look above the door. You see that symbol that kind of looks like an eye?" He asks "I think if we put some kind of rock or something in there, something will probably happen....But..." He said "There's those giant logs on both sides... And all these little openinhs in the floor have caught my attention..." He said "That pillar over there...and a weird switch along the groove..." He said "If we move that pillar along that track on top of the switch on the floor, something's gonna happen...." He said "This is a pretty common layout... This kind of trap is usually easy to identify" He said "And... These spikes here on the wall... Look at them--they've definitely caught my attention...." He said "What's this crystal here?" Igglybuff asks "If you hit this crystal, something's gonna happen" Armaldo said "The crystal's color will probably change and something will come up from the floor...or something..." He said "I think that's how it works" He said "And this... It looks like this contraption is important somehow..." He said "It's pretty suspicious to find such a puzzling thing in a place like this" He said "The more I think about it, the more it seems like someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to keep people out..." He said "It takes a trained eye to spy out all these devices" He said "I see! So, we should go around and try everything!" Igglybuff said "N-no! That might prevent the door from ever opening!" Armaldo said worried "There are traps too!" He said "Is that so? I see..." Igglybuff said "Anyway... This room is full of dangers" Armaldo said "We really need to proceed with caution here" He said "Yep. Got it!" Igglybuff said "Yay!" He said happy walking to the door "Aaaah! Huh....WHAT?!" Armaldo asks "YOOM...TAH!" Igglybuff said and bright light flashes and when its over the door is broken open "I did it! I opened it!" Igglybuff said happy "Wh-what the....?!" Armaldo said "Hurry! Let's go!" Igglybuff said 'What in the world IS this kid?!' Armaldo thought in disbelief "Hey, hurry!" Igglybuff said "G-got it" Armaldo said and the two go inside.

"Oh! There's a treasure chest over there!" Igglybuff said and they walk closer to it "Hey, open it and see! Hurry, hurry!" Igglybuff said excited and Armaldo opens the treasure chest. Inside was the Defend Globe "Th-this....is...!" Armaldo said "Wow! So cool!" Igglybuff said excited...though he didn't know what that was "What is this?" He asks "This is a Defend Globe" Armaldo said "A Defend Globe?" Igglybuff asks 'Yay! Yay!' He thought and walks a bit behind Armaldo and starts dancing and bouncing around "It's very valuable... It's a very hard to find item..." Armaldo said "It's an exclusive item for Bug-type pokemon" He said and turns around "....Hey!" He said "Aren't you listening to what I'm saying?!" He asks angry "It's all right. I heard you" Igglybuff said "I don't really understand... But it's really cool!" He said "We did it! Ah ha ha ha!" He said and laughs happily 'Wh-what is this....? He's so happy...' Armaldo thought 'He doesn't even know the value of this item, but he's just so ridiculously happy...' He thought "We did it, we did it! Yay, yay!" Igglybuff said happy 'Hmm... He showed a powerful intuition in getting that door open earlier...' Armaldo thought 'This kid is...' He thought 'I don't really get his personality...He radiates an unknown, unfathomable quality...' He thought 'I'm guessing...this kid has an amazing natural talent or something...' He thought 'For explorers... this is an unbelievable advantage...' He thought "Hey, exploring is so much fun!" Igglybuff said happy "Oh yeah! Master!" He said "? M-master? Me?!" Armaldo asks "Yep, that's right. The explorationnmaster" Igglybuff said "Master, I have a request! Please... Please take me on as your apprentice!" He said "M-my... apprentice?!" Armaldo asks "N-no! I'll pass. I don't really see myself taking care of someone else as an apprentice" He said "And besides, I quit exploring!" He said "It's too late for me to do anything like that!" He said "But.... Today you came out on this exploration, didn't you?" Igglybuff asks "You did, didn't you? Master..." He said "Eerr..." Armaldo said "This is the first time I've had so much fun. It's like I've changed somehow" Igglybuff said "I want to keep exploring!.... That is... I'd like to keep exploring" He said "Please! Take me on as your apprentice, Master!" He said "Master! Please!" He said "Umm..." Armaldo said 'Wow, he's even kneeling on the floor. He's sure intent on this request...' He thought 'However, he's so round... It's hard to tell if he's really kneeling on the floor or not...' He thought 'Wh-what should I do?' He thought 'It would be extremely risky if I were to start exploring as part of a team again...' He thought 'But this kid has so much potential, it's amazing' He thought 'I'd love to see just how far this kid could go as an explorer...' Thank you!" Igglybuff said "Yay, yay, yay!" He said running around Armaldo.

Igglybuff's POV

Wigglytuff: And so...Master recognized me as his apprentice...And he returned to being an explorer...

Wigglytuff: And so Master and I...went out on explorations together

"I'm looking forward to you taking care of me. Master" Igglybuff said "Taking care of you....Hey, wait!" Armaldo said "The way you're acting, I don't know if we'll be doing anything together..." He said "Don't be so strict, Master. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha!" I said happily "How are we going to be an exploration team if you start off acting like that? Hey!" Armaldo said "Ah ha ha! I'm so happy!" I said.

Wigglytuff: I've had so much fun since Master took me on as an apprentice

"Ok, I'm off" I said to Mama and Papa "See you!" Papa said "Take care!" Mama said and left.

Wigglytuff: I would head off to Master's house soon after I got up every morning...

Wigglytuff: We would open up the map and look for a place to explore

"Hey, Master...Let's explore this place today!" I said looking at the map "This place...labeled 'The End of the World!' " I said "Come on! There is no way we could go to such a place" Master said.

Wigglytuff: We'd decided where to go together like two old friends....

Wigglytuff: And then head out exploring right away...

"Wow! Treasure! Treasure!" I said happy "Don't be so happy-go-lucky! There migh be a trap!" Master said and we took a step forward but Master fell down a hole "Uwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" Master said "M-Master! Master!" I said worried "Master!!!" I said "It's all right. I can rescue him later" I said and I walk to the treasure chest opening it.

Wigglytuff: Master and I made a great team and we found a bunch of treasure!

Wigglytuff: Just like that, we....Went on one successful exploration after another

Wigglytuff: Then.... A few months later...

Third Person's POV

"Wow! Amazing!" Igglybuff said as he and Armaldo where in a room full of green treasure chests "There's so much treasure! Master!" Igglybuff said "All right. Let's take it all back with us" Armaldo said "All right!" Igglybuff said walking to the chests 'He's really something, this kid' Armaldo thought 'We've been exploring together for a while....' He thought 'I've never seen anyone with a natural sense for exploring like he has' He thought 'I'm sure that this kid... is some kind of exploration prodigy' He thought "Master, what are you doing? Hurry, hurry!" Igglybuff said "Y-yeah...I'm on my way" Armaldo said.

*Later, outside*

"We found a lot today, didn't we? Hee hee! Success, success!" Igglybuff said "Hey, Master" He said "Where are we going to explore tomorrow?" He asks "Wh-what? We just finished today's exploration, and already you're talking about tomorrow's?" Armaldo asks "You're getting a little ahead of yourself" He said "That said...I'll bet that tomorrow's location will be even better to us than today's" He said "R-really?!" Igglybuff asks excited "Yes. Tomorrow, we're going to Fortune Ravine...." Armaldo said "Rumor has it that there's a lot of treasure there" He said "A-amazing! I can't wait!" Igglybuff said "Lets go tomorrow! Definitely" He said "Yeah. Will you be all right getting home from here by yourself?" Armaldo asks "Yep. I'm fine" Igglybuff said "All right, see you at my place tomorrow" Armaldo said "And then we'll head out for Fortune Ravine" He said "Yep! Bye-bye, Master! See you tomorrow!" Igglybuff said happy and left "Phew. Same as ever...He's always so cheerful" Armaldo said watching him leave "Cheerful is good, but..." He said "He's so cheerful that it tires me right out. Phew...." He said "I should go home. I'm exhausted, but I have to admit cheerfulness is kind of contagious. Phew..." He said and walks away. Unaware to them a Nidoking was hiding watching the two leave "That pokemon..." He said reffering to Armaldo "That pokemon...was that..." He said.

*The next morning*

Igglybuff's POV

"Good morning, Papa. Mama" I said happy "Yep. Good morning!" Papa said "Good morning, Igglybuff!" Mama said "Ok, I'm off!" I said "See you later!" "Take care!" Papa and Mama said.

*At Armaldo's Shelter*

"Good morning, Master" I said "Oh hi, Junior" Master said "Before you got here, I was doing some research on Fortune Ravine..." He said "It's a lot harder than any of the dungeons we've visited so far" He said "Even with my strenght... it will probably be difficult" He said "Huh? Sl we're not going?" I ask worried "Maybe, maybe not. I'm concernee about what to do" Master said "Let's go! It'll be fine, I know" I said "Together, Master and I are invincible!" I said "It's all right, all right!" I said "...All right. I agree" Master said "Let's go. To Fortune Ravine" He said "M-Master!" I said happy "I knew we were going to go! Thats my Master" I said "Take care of your exploration preparations at the Kangaskhan Rock" Master said "Yep" I said and after I got things ready I walked to Master "Huh? Junior, did you finish getting ready?" Master asks "Yep" I said "Ok, let's go! To Fortune Ravine!" Master said and we left.

Just then...At Igglybuff's house on the prairie...

"Igglybuff! Let's play!" One of Igglybuff's friends said "Oh! It's Smoochum and everyone" Mama said and she and Papa walk out the house "Oh! It's Igglybuff's Mama!" Budew said "I'm sorry. Igglybuff isn't here today, either" Mama said "You're always inviting him to join you. It's not very nice of him to always be too busy" She said "By the way, Igglybuff's Mama" Smoochum said "What is it, Smoochum?" Mama asks "Is it true that Igglybuff goes to play in Murky Forest every day?" Smoochum asks "Whaaaat?! In Murky Forest?!" Mama asks "I-is that true, Smoochum?" She asks "We don't really know...But that's what we heard" Smoochum said "It looks like his Mama doesn't know, either" Wooper said "If it's true..." Budew said "I wonder if Igglybuff's OK...Going to that place to play all the time...." He said "Hey, Banette!" Wooper said as Banette and Skorupi walk over "Hey, Banette. Have you seen Igglybuff?" Smoochum asks "Igglybuff? Isn't he still going to Murky Forest?" Banette asks "WHAAAAAAAT?!" Everyone asks "We've seen him go in there several times" Skorupi said "To be going to that scary place...Honestly, I don't really get him. Igglybuff, I mean" He said "Oh...I just saw him a little while ago..." Banette said "That scary-looking guy deep in the forest....Igglybuff seems to have made friends with him or something?" He asks "WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Everyone asks "I wonder if he's all right. Being with that scary guy, I mean" Banette said "P-Papa....Papa...." Mama said worried "Can I talk to you for a moment?" Someone asks walking over revealing to be Nidoking from before "Your conversation...Can you tell me a bit more about it, please?" Nidoking asks "Hey, you" He said to Banette "M-me?" Banette asks "The part where you said there's a scary-looking guy living deep in the forest..." Nidoking said "What's he look like?" He asks "H-he looks like....He's got big claws...and a shell that looks like armor...." Banette said "I don't know, but he just looks really scary, you know?" He asks "....I'll bet it's him. It's gotta be" Nidoking said "Um...Who are you?" Papa asks "My apologies for not introducing myself" Nidoking said "I am Nidoking. I'm an explorer" He said "An explorer?" Papa asks "Yes. I should introduce myself properly" Nidoking said "The truth is, I am..." He said and explained "WHAAAAAAT?!" Everyone asked "R-really?!" Wooper asks "We...We've got a problem!!" Smoochum said.

*Meanwhile at Fortune Ravine*

Igglybuff's POV

"Master, where is this?" I asked "This is a dungeon waypoint..." Armaldo said "It connects to the depths of Fortune Ravine...It's a waypoint area" He said "I see. So we'll be in the depths soon, then" I said "That's right... I'm sure of it..." Master said "While we're on the subjects of waypoints in dungeons..." He said "Finding a waypoint usually means that something awaits you at the end" He said "Something awaits...Like what?" I ask "For example... the boss of this dungeon" Master said "If there's a boss in the dungeon, tread carefully" He said "They might misunderstand what you're doing here and wonder wheter you're trying to take over their territory..." I said "Torches are burning all around..." I said "Master, is there some kind of trick to opening the door here too?" I asked "You've really learned a lot, Junior" Master said "That's right. These torches must provide the solution to the puzzles of opening the door" He said "Furthermore, this is a very common type of puzzle" He said "What should we do?" I asked "It's simple" Master said "If we blow out all the torches, the door will open. Watch!" He said using water gun on the four torches and the floor started shaking "All right the door should open now!" He said but we fall down a hole.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow. My back hurts..." Master said "Master, are you ok?" I asked "Y-yeah. How are you, Junior?" Master asks "I'm ok" I said "Oh, for pity's sake...We seem to have fallen into a pit!" I said "P-pit...Is that what thiS is? This hole..." Master said "Hey, Master" I said "What is it?" Master asks "Those torches...It seems like they weren't there to open the door..." I said "Truth is, they were there to open the pit... It was some kind of trap!" I said "T-trap?" Master asks "But if this really is a trap...It's so dark, I can't see a thing..." I said "Truth is.... We seem to have landed ourselves in a difficult position" I said amd we hear noises "Hey! I can ehar something" I said "It seems like something's getting closer" I said "Y-you.... How can you stay so calm?" Master asks "I'm not calm" I said "I'm incredibly....excited!" I said and lights get back on to show a Yanmega, a Claydol, a Camerupt, an Exploud, a Vespiqueen and a Probopass surrounding us "UWAAAAaaaahhhh! It's a....Monster House!" Master said "They're here!" I said excited "Let's do our best, Master!" I said "Don't we always?!" Master said and we got ready to fight.

*After the fight*

"Phew... We just barely beat them..." Master said "I can see some kind of light over there" I said "Let's go check it out" Master said and we go out.

Third Person's POV

"Uwaaaaahhhh" Igglybuff said suprised as they were outside "Hey, Master. This is outside" He said "It looks like once you leave the ravine, it connects to this place" Armaldo said "Among the rocks and stones...I can see some crumbled pillars and what looks like a stone wall" He said "Don't tell me that this is..." He said "Oh! Master!" Igglybuff said "Look over there!" He said and they see some ruins in the distance "I can see some kind of ruins off in the distance..." Armaldo said "I knew it. This is....an ancient city that's been buried by time, I believe" He said "Hey, master!" Igglybuff said excited "I bet there's a bunch of treasure over there" He said "Hurry, let's go! So excited!" He said "Oh" Armaldo said 'Wait!" Someone said and it's Nidokinh walking over to them "I've finally found you, Armaldo!" Nidoking said "My name is Nidoking! I'm an explorer!" He said "What....What did you say?" Armaldo asks shocked and Mama, Papa, Wooper, Smoochum, Budew, Banette, Skorupi and Sheriff Magnezone and the magnemites "Oh! Papa! Mama!" Igglybuff said "And everyone!" He said "A-Are you all right, Igglybuff?!" Mama asks worried "You're not hurt?!" She asks "I'm fine, Mama. Why?" Igglybuff asks "Friends, friends...What's with everyone?" He asks "Igglybuff! Listen carefully!" Smoochum said "Over there...The pokemon next to you, Igglybuff, is..." She said "An outlaw!" She said "What? An outlaw?" Igglybuff asks confused "A bad guy! That's what that pokemon is!" Wooper said "Master is...a bad guy...?" Igglybuff asks confused "That's right" Nidoking said "This guy--Armaldo--is a pokemon we've been chasing for a while" He said "In order to catch Armaldo, I came here" He said "ZZZT! Nidoking is telling the truth. ZZZT!" Magnezone said "ZZZT! Armaldo id a 'B' rank outlaw..." He said "We've been searching the entire region for him. ZZZT!" He said "ZZZT! As soon as we heard from Nidoking, we came running. ZZZT!" He said "So. Let the kid go, Armaldo" Nidoking said and Armaldo stayed silent and just walks to Nidoking and Magnezone "...It's a lie..." Igglybuff said in denial "It can't be true..." He said "Kid. It's all right" Nidoking said "To drag a kid into this... You're the lowest" He said to Armaldo "N-no! I asked him!" Igglybuff defended him "And...Master isn't a bad pokemon!" He said tearing up "ZZZT! All right, let's finish this! ZZZT!" Magnezone said "S-stop..." Igglybuff said "Please... Listen to me..." He said and the two magnemites get on each side of Armaldo, Nidoking behind him and Magnezone infront "Hurry up! Move it!" Nidoking said and they start walking away "....OOOOoooooooo..... OOOOooooooooOOOOOoooooo..." Igglybuff said shaking and the ground started shaking making them stop and everyone looks around confused while Armaldo looks at Igglybuff "Whoa. What....What is this?!" Magnemite asks "Yooo.....Yooo...." Igglybuff said "Th-the ground....is it shaking?" Nidoking asks shocked and then small explosions happen around as the shaking gets worse and Nidoking steps to the side "WAWAWAWAWAH!" Magnezone said "YOOOOOOOOMMM....." Igglybuff said "WAIT!! STOP IT! JUNIOR!!" Armaldo said making Igglybuff stop.

Igglybuff's POV

"...Huh?" I ask confused "I'm asking you! Stop, please!" Master said "M-Master..." I said "If you blast Nidoking and Magnezone..." Master said "You'll become a bad guy too, and then what will you do?!" He asks "So please stop now!" He said "But--Master isn't a bad pokemon!" I said "I've been with you this long, I know that!" I said "Officer Magnezone" Master said "ZZZT! Yes? ZZZT!" Magnezone asks "Could you give me a minute?" Master asks "It's all right. I won't try to run" He said "ZZZT! ...Understood. ZZZT!" Magnezone said and Master walks to me "I'm sorry, Junior" Master said "Just like Nidoking said.... I'm an outlaw" He said "I'm a bad guy" He said "That...That's not true!" I shouted "Listen, Junior" Master said "I am an outlaw and they were searching the entire region for me" He said "To avoid getting caught...I've just been running, running, running" He said "And I took a break in Murky Forest" He said "I started that rumor about Murky Forest" He said "The rumor that a monster lurked deep in the darkness" He said "Because of that, nobody came out there... I said "Junior" Master said "I really enjoyed exploring with you these past few days" He said "I knew there was a danger of being caught like this..." He said "But.....despite that risk, we went on explorations..." He said "And when you were with me, I had a lot of fun" He said "This was the first time I ever really enjoyed exploring" He said "And you are the one who has shown me how fun it can be" He said "Thank you very much" He said "Ooooooohhhh.... "I see..." Chatot said "The story of your exploration goes back all the way back to your childhood..." He said "Yes. That's why this Defend Globe is my starting point" I said "....And, Guildmaster, your Master..." Chatot said "After that, what happened to him?" He asks "Oh, many things happened to him. After all..." I said "He is my only Master" I said "We'll save those stories for another time. I'm too tired for more today" I said happy "You know.... Whenever I look at this Defend Globe, I think of him" I said "It's my starting point in becoming an explorer" I said "And..." I said.
