Honestly, I could rant about the episode "The Power Inside Her" until the end of time, but it wouldn't make the episode change any, so I'll make this short.

Did anyone else notice that the episode had April (under the control of an evil alien, yes, I am aware) scatter Donnie into a million molecular pieces in front of his brothers and Casey, and then defeat the villain and just psychically resurrect/rebuild Donnie before everyone goes on with their evening like THAT DIDN'T JUST HAPPEN!?

The brothers have gone through so much and just barely dodge the grasp of death hundreds of times, so those kinda situations might become normal enough to easily walk away from, which is understandable. 

BUT! 

This wasn't an almost death or close call. Donnie was "molecularly scattered" ACROSS THE FREAKING CITY! 

He would have been DEAD to everyone he knew and loved if April hadn't realized that she could still bring him back. The turtles would have LOST A BROTHER and yet everyone is just COOL with this!?! 

Not to mention the fact that Donnie was oddly chill about the whole his-crush-tearing-him-into-molecular-pieces-and-then-bringing-him-back SITUATION.

I cannot be the only one who watched this episode and walked away feeling like there was something missing, or something the directors could have slipped into the next episode? 

Leo or Raph acting a tad more protective, Mikey being a clingy turtle, or even Donnie just acting a LITTLE uncomfortable or antsy when April's name is brought up? Even a thirty-second convo where someone asks if he's doing okay and he offers a nervous smile and an affirmative would have made me satisfied. 

BUT NO! 

Instead, we're going to sit here and "Is April okay?" and "What's up with her powers now?" and act like there isn't a potentially traumatized turtle in their mists. 

I could be mistaken, BUT DYING ISN'T EXACTLY SOMETHING YOU JUST WALK AWAY FROM!

The writers have greatly disappointed me, and so I have fixed the problem in the only way that I am able.
