You smile at the town happily, skipping beside Smoker. "I want icecream!" You smile before looking back at Sabo and Law. Sabo was looking around with a small smile. Law seemed very uneasy on the other hand. You pause and slow down to touch the demon's shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." He smiles carefully. You frown in worry before an arguing couple catches your attention. Law winces slightly and brushes past, quickly moving to keep up with Smoker. You frown after him lightly, was this already too much for the demon?

"You coming?" Sabo's voice makes you blink back. With a nod, you step to the vampire's side. He studies your face for a bit before touching your shoulder. "It'll be alright..." He breathes. You peer at him before hugging his side.

"You're so sweet Sabo." You murmur, closing your eyes. He swallows lightly, pink dusting his cheeks before putting an arm around you and peering around with a small smile.

"Here's the butchers." Smoker speaks up, making you look up and hurry into the building, peering at the meats they had on display.

"What can I do for you little miss?" The butcher greets. You start to list off what you needed, looking over your list to make sure you didn't need anything else. Smoker and Sabo grab the bags and you look over as Law quickly goes out. You frown lightly, giving Sabo the list.

"I'm going to check on him, he's not feeling well." You murmur to the vampire before hurrying after Law, searching for him, and soon finding him in the alleyway, holding his head. "Law..."

"S-Stay back... I don't want to hurt..." He pants. You frown, the emotions around him must be too much. You take a step forward reaching out and placing hand on his cheek.

"It's okay Law... I'm here." You breathe gently. His eyes open, focusing on you.

"Sorry... I thought I could handle it...." He murmurs. You offer a soft smile.

"Do you want to leave?" You ask.

"No... This helps..." He touches your hand. You search his face before stepping closer and pulling him into a hug.

"Can you focus on me?"

"I'll try..." He murmurs, hugging you shakily. You tighten your arms around him.

"I'm here." You breathe softly. He soon relaxes, nuzzling your shoulder.

"Thanks... For not being afraid..." He pulls back to look at you.

"Cant be afraid of your best friend." You smile. "Come on."

"Wait..." He takes your hand, "Can I hold your hand? It's easier to focus on you like this..."

"Of course." You smile, leading him away.

"There you are." Smoker hums when you find them again.

"Sorry. Law had to take a break." You smile. He nods, glancing at Law briefly.

"Just a bit longer, we'll be done soon enough." He assures carrying on.

Once you had returned home, you stop to smile at Smoker. "Will you stay for dinner?" You ask lightly.

"... Sure, I am hungry after being solid for so long." He touches his chest as his smokey strands escape him, making his form return to it's shifty way.

"I'll let Sanji know." Sabo tells you before carrying the groceries in. Smoker goes past, probably to find Shanks. You look at Law and smile lightly.

"Better?" You hum.

"Better." He smiles and gives you a hug, nuzzling your hair gently.

"You're finally back." Kid's voice makes him pull away and you look over.

"Hey Kid." You smile going over to him and hugging him.

"Missed ya, and we got the harvests in." Kid gives you a warm smile.

"Wow! Thanks! I'm going to eat a berry salad then!" You chime. He chuckles softly ruffling your hair before glancing at Law.

"Come on, lets go." He steers you inside. Law frowns at his back in annoyance before following after you.

"You're feeling better now?" You ask Kid.

"Yeah... I shouldn't be in a bad mood before I change tonight...You were worried?" He frowns slightly.

"Of course I was. You've been... Off lately. I miss you being in a good mood. Not so annoyed all the time." You look down. He watches you for a moment before looking ahead.

"Shit... I have been an asshole lately..." He murmurs in realization.

"I didn't say that." You say quickly.

"Doesn't mean it's not true." He scratches his cheek. "Sorry." You blink at him before leaning on him.

"Come on. I need help in the kitchen. Got some good meats." You smile before moving ahead to the kitchen.

After dinner is made and served, you and Kid head to the basement and down a specific tunnel to a large cage.

"We should hurry, I can feel it." He murmurs. You nod, helping chain him up. He shifts as you adjust the chains around his neck. You pause, meeting his troubled gaze.

"What's wrong Kid?" You ask, touching his cheek.

"I'm still not happy with myself... Making you worry so much... You deal with enough without my ego weighing on you." He looks down with a frown.

"Eh, its not that heavy. Dont be so down please. I'm still here." You smile softly. He relaxes slightly before his muscles start jolting. You move away to give him room to transform. Soon the bipedal wolfish beast towered over you even in it's crouched stance, blood red fur smoothing down over it's powerful muscles. It's orange tinted amber gaze soon focus on you.

"Hey big guy. You gonna be good tonight?" You greet lightly. He pulls on the chains slightly, tail swishing behind it slightly as he gives a soft rumble. You take a step forward holding your hand up carefully. He hunkers down, pressing his cheek to your hand. You smile more and move closer, letting the creature scoop you up and cuddle you warmly.

Kid was so sweet in this form but a bit possessive. He wouldn't let anyone near you til sunrise. Last time Shanks got too close, the vampire almost lost his arm.

"Maybe this is just how you are Kid. A selfish wolf." You comment, petting his massive head. His ears flicker and he peers at you as you frown a bit. "It's a bit troublesome sometimes, but I still love you." You murmur. He rumbles cuddling you more. You doubted he understood you in this stage, or even remember anything you say. You shift, cuddling his fur more.

You're woken by a monstrous snarl from Kid and try to sit up but he holds you tighter, glaring at the cage door.

"You're definitely not a normal werewolf..." Law comments, looking at the beast.

"Law? What are you doing here?" You ask him over Kid's snarling.

"I missed you." He pouts slightly. "We just got back from school and the sun will rise soon..."

"Really? Thanks for coming to get me." You smile at the demon and Kid growls louder at that. "Hey. Stop that." You huff to the beast with a frown. He grumbles unhappily, still glaring at the demon. Before much longer, Kid starts to return to his original size. You roll out of his arms, waiting for him to return to normal. "Morning Kid. Lets get those chains off." You hum as he shifts groggily.

"... Kay..." He murmurs as you free him. Law comes over to help you take the werewolf back to his room.

"Sleep well Kid." You smile as you cover him up. He hums sleepily in response, rolling over. You go out with Law and stretch. "I think I want a bubble bath now." You hum dropping your arms. He pauses, eyes unfocusing briefly.

"Alright, have fun with that." He says looking away. You pause at that, watching him for a moment.

"Want to join me?" You murmur smirking. His eyes widen at that and he swiftly looks back at you turning red before glowering at you.

"You just wanted to see my reaction..." He grumbles.

"Yes. It was a good one too." You chuckle. He rolls his eyes and smirks.

"And they say demons are trouble." He teases. You chuckle and go to your bathroom to start your bubble bath to relax.

You must've fallen asleep, because you woke up to someone knocking on your bathroom door. "Hm?" You hum in response, sitting up.

"If you stay in there much longer you'll shrivel up." Law's voice sounds.

"Yeah... I fell asleep." You hum sheepishly, getting out and drying off. "Were you waiting for me to come out?"

"Yes. You need to sleep." He responds simply. You smile and get dressed before heading out with a yawn.

"Youre right." You say crawling into bed and settling in. He stands next to it, watching you quietly.

"May I crawl in with you?" He inquires.

"Since when do you feel the need to ask?" You murmur opening your arms to him. He smiles and gets in, cuddling up to you and wraps his tail around your leg.

"I thought you would be tired of being cuddlee today." He breathes. You look him in the eye, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Never." You hiss. He chuckles at that and nuzzles your hair.

"You're an odd one..."

"Welcome back ___!" The class's greeting surprised you, making you freeze.

"Oh... Hi guys?" You wave awkwardly in confusion.

"We missed you. You weren't sick were you?" Kaya frowns in concern giving you a box. You blink at the gift, cheeks warming slightly.

"Oh, no.... I-I just wanted to take some time after that.... Display..." You admit lightly, not looking up.

"But you were awesome!" Perona bursts floating over. "I looked into it, Sel was a seasoned monster hunter! He should've never been able to teach here! But you took him down like a boss." She offers a smile and wink.

"In other words. You saved the rest of us from his hate." Wiper pupes up. You just look at all of them as they offer smiles and nods. Your eyes widen and tears rise to them. They accepted you, all of them. You never felt so happy as tears escape your eyes and you smile widely.

"Thank you guys... Im so glad... I never thought..." You try to wipe your tears away but more just came out. Law smiles, starting to help you.

"Why are you crying?" Kaya frowns softly.

"She's happy. She has always wanted to be accepted by everyone. Even if she's what most creatures hate." Law informs easily, eyes not leaving you. There's a pause and a majority of the class come over to hug you and assure you that you were on of them.

After a bit you feel a hand at the small of your back and look over to meet Mihawk's soft and happy gaze. You relax and smile, looking down at the box thoughtfully before opening it up.

"I-I thought you were sick so we gathered some things that will help cure humans." Kaya says sheepishly. You blink and giggle lightly, smiling at the herbs and snacks inside.

"Thank you. Everyone."

After class you decide to stop by the library and see if there were anymore books on different species. Entering you smile at the fennec ninetails. "Hello ___. I heard you've been away for a bit. Did you come to catch up?" Crocodile greets.

"No my new friend has been helping me keep up. I finished the books I checked out." You place them on the counter. "Is there any new species books?" You ask him.

"Actually. I recommend these to you." He sets three books before you.

"Demons, hybrids, and demigods?" You read aloud the titles in curiosity before looking up at him. He leans on the counter, peering about briefly.

"I heard there's a family of hybrids that will be attending the school soon. And I automatically thought you would like to study." He smiles thoughtfully. Your eyes widen and you light up.

"Really? A family?" You gasp.

"Yes. A big family too." He nods, stamping the time cards.

"I'm excited now. Thanks Crocodile! You should come have dinner with us some time." You grin, scooping up the books.

"I'll ask Mihawk to invite me next time." He rumbles.

"I'll make sure he does! See you later." You chime before going out. You peer at the books thoughtfully. "Another demon book... Does that mean there will be more demons then..?" You mutter.

"Excuse me." A deep and rugged voice makes you freeze. You look back to find a rather large creature with argali horns. "It appears I've lost my way. Could you take me to the office? Im late for the tour." He steps closer and you almost fall back from his presence.

'Amazing...' You think in awe. "Uh... Yeah, the office is right this way sir." You smile, taking the lead as you look over him from the corner of your eye. Beside him you stood just above his waist. Kind of felt like you were a kid again. He couldn't be a full demon, he didn't have wings. Was he a hybrid? Your head turns to peer at his trident tipped tail as it swayed behind him.

"You're not afraid of me. That could be troublesome for you." His voice makes you look up at him again.

"Maybe." You smile sheepishly looking ahead. "But it'll be fine."

"Optimistic too." He mutters. You stop in front of the office. "Thank you."

"No problem... Im ___ by the way. I hope you like it here." You smile and back up.

"Its best if you hope we dont." He says, red eyes looking down on you. You pause and frown slightly.

"I don't like to lie though." You murmur. He sighs quietly and puts a hand on your head briefly.

"Im aware."
