Paul's P.O.V.:

I was waiting where me and Kodi planned to meet up. When suddenly I heard heavey panting from behind me. I turned around and saw her standing there breathing heavily. "So you finally showed up huh?" I teased. She continued to breath heavily all throughout her sentence.

"..... I'm sorry..... I..... Slept in....." She said. I chuckled.

"Who sleeps in til 12:50!?" I said and chuckled some more. She blushed. Then she punched me lightly on the arm.

"It wasn't my fault! My alarm didn't go off and I have trouble waking up on my own!" She said angrily. But even if she was angry she was adorable. I chuckled some more.

"It's alright I was just teasing." I said. She smiled a beautiful smile. And giggled. Her laugh was one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. Second only to her singing. "So what do you want to do?" I asked. She started thinking real hard. I kept looking around then I saw an ice cream truck. "'ow 'bout ice cream?" I asked. Her face brightened up with another breath taking smile. She rapidly clapped her hands.

"YES! YES! I LOVE ICE CREAM!" She said excitedly. I smiled.

"Well there's an ice cream truck over there. Want some?" I said. She nodded. Then we walked over to the truck together. "What would you like love?" I asked.

"Um... Chocolate vanilla twist." She said. I smiled and nodded.

"One chocolate and one chocolate vanilla twist please." I said. The man in the truck nodded and hands us our ice cream.

"Half off for such a cute couple." Said the man in the ice cream truck. Kodi's face became completely red.

"N-No we're-" She started. But I interrupted her.

"You really think we're cute together. That's so nice of you." I said then winked at Kodi. I handed the man the money and walked away with Kodi by my side. Once we were a good distance away Kodi looked at me funny. "Something wrong love?" I asked. She nodded.

"WHY DID YOU TELL HIM WE WERE A COUPLE!!! WHEN WE ACTUALLY AREN'T!?!?!?" She said her face still red. I chuckled.

"''ey. A refund's a refund." I said. She stared at my for a few seconds then burst out into beautiful laughter.

"Alright." She said smiling sweetly and stared to eat her ice cream.

"Hey why don't we eat it in the park?" I asked. She nodded. When we got to the park there weren't to many people there so we were able to have some alone time.

"This has been really fun Paul. I really enjoyed it." She said. I smiled.

"I had fun too. We should do this again some time." I said. She smiled sweetly.

"Yeah. I'd really like that." She said.

"Wait hold still there's some ice cream on your cheek." I said and wiped off the ice cream with my finger. Then I licked the ice cream off my finger. Kodi blushed. "Can you get home on your own love?" I asked. She nodded.

"Yeah I can." She said I nodded. And we went ourseoerate ways.

Kodi's P.O.V.:

When I got home a sat down on my couch and just stared at the wall. I just couldn't get Paul out of my mind. He was absolutely perfect. His dark colored hair. His hazel eyes. His perfectly shaped eyebrows. All of it was perfect. I'd never felt this way before but I was afraid. Afraid he'd never love me back. Why would a perfect guy like him love plain old me? "I'll keep my feelings to myself. To avoid being heartbroken in the end." I said.
