"It's not like that." y/n says defensively while looking around at everyone with wide eyes.

"It's true, it's not." Namjoon confirms and she nods agreeing.

Her eyes landed on me then she quickly looked away as her face turned red.

I knew exactly why seeing as I was the one who initiated the kiss.

The reason why is because I wanted to confirm what Namjoon had accused me of and well, he was right.

I guess I had liked (y/n) this whole time and never knew.

I guess I really am clueless.

I look over at Namjoon who looks a little worried but also a bit content.

I'm sure he didn't mind something like this happening because it meant he was "dating (y/n)"

I shake my head and snap back to reality.

"We need to talk to PD nim." I say, standing up but (y/n) turns to me and stops me.

"It's just a rumor right? It'll blow over. We don't need to do anything and if the rumor gets bigger whatever it's not a big deal." she says and before I can stop myself I object to the idea.

"No. we should go." I say and they all look over at me and Jin's eyes seem to widen a bit then he smiles.

"Yeah, you should get that rumor dissolved before it gets bigger and you two have to fake date or something. That could be awkward." he says and she looks at him then nods and I feel myself release a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"The four of us should go." Hoseok says as he stands up.

Y/n let's out a breath and walks towards the door.

"Why did I have to get brought into this?" She mumbles.

"Because you were crying in public." I say as if it were obvious.

"Well who's fault do you think that is." she snaps and gets into the car.

I sigh and follow behind her.

"Well it's obvious as to what we have to do." PD Nim says, rubbing the back of his head.

"This rumor has gotten huge. Army isn't the happiest but most fans are liking it meaning, if (y/n) is willing of course, you two will need to fake a relationship and make it public then later on we can have a big break up then problem solved." he says and my eyes widen a little.

"I can't I'm sorry." (y/n) says looking up at PD Nim.

"Is there a reason?" He asks.

"Because she's in love with me." I say without thinking, later realizing the cringe behind it.

They both turn to me but (y/n) doesn't make eye contact and Namjoon looks me in the eyes then they widen.

He knew.

"It wouldn't be for very long, plus Yoongi doesn't feel the same way right so it shouldn't be a problem." he says and I see her eyes becoming glossy.

That was a bit too harsh.

"No she's right, if she's in love with someone else she shouldn't do this. Just please find another way to stop the rumor." Namjoon says and I look over at him to see his face was serious.

"Alright, I'll try my best." he says and with that, we leave.

"Is the problem solved?" Jin asks once we get back and Namjoon says nothing as he walks straight to his room and shuts the door.

"Yeah, it's solved." I say and (y/n) let's out a breath and heads to her room.

I walk after her with a stride of confidence.

It was now or never.
