I'm not saying wear the colors you are to show that you are proud you are sick, because that's just stupid. What I'm saying is, show awareness! I wear my purple and light gray pajamas a lot. That doesn't mean I don't wash them! I wash them! Just wear your awareness colors as a style. Bring your illness down and bring yourself up to the challenge! Yes I know it's hard with cancer, but come on! You have to have some laughter and fun. Make fun of your illness, do whatever you want with your color. Just by doing what you do now is an accomplishment. Why? Because you are going through hell itself, and here you are standing, fighting your way back to heaven. To live with god. You stare into the devil's eyes every day. I don't think this is considered worship of the devil because you are staring it down, but if you actually want to look up the picture of the devil and decide to stare it down then there we go. The devil is the hate and weariness you get when you think god has betrayed you for giving you this illness. Don't let the devil consume you.
