Its a beautiful day in Paris the sun is shinning and the birds are chirping. The children are having fun in the park and are having the time of their lives.

On the other side of town Marinette was helping out in the bakery. In the past month her parents got a bigger space for a new bakery so they had so many customers.

"Manon, can i get 5 croissants for table 6." asked Marinette

"Coming right up." responded Manon

While Manon was getting the croissants the door bell rang which ment there were new customers. Marinette went over to the counter to get menus and went to give them to the girls that just entered.

"Hey girl." greeted Alya

"Oh hey girls. What are you guys doing here?" Marinette asked her friends.

"Well we wanted to see you before you go off to college." Rose said with a big smile on her face

"So do you have time to hang with us?" Alix questioned.

"I would really love to but sorry I can't. I promised my parents that I would help them before I leave so..." Marinette said but was cut off by Juleka.

"Its okay Mari, at least we got to hang out yesterday.

The other girls agreed

"Thanks for understanding girls, so what can i get you guys?"Marinette asked.

"The usual please." the four girls replyed

Marinette just giggled and turned to Mylene.

"What about you Mylene?"

"I'll have the strawberry short cake and chocolate milkshake please." Mylene responded with a smile.

"Okay your orders will be ready in ten minutes." Marinette said and she went off.

Rose sighed sadly

"What's wrong Rose?" Alya questioned

"Its just that we are all going to college soon and Marinette already got a head start so I am going to miss all of you guys alot."

"We are going to miss you too Rose." Juleka said.

"Yeah but we can still stay in contact and we have highschool memories of eachother." Mylene said with a small smile.

"Yeah like remember that time when Mari had a massive crush on Adrien and she couldn't even utter a full sentence infront of him." Alix laughed.

They all burst into laughter, remembering the countless times Mari did that.

After the laughter died down and Alya spoke.

"I still wish that Marinette and Adrien got together though."

As soon as she said that Marinette came to with their orders.

"Here's your food and enjoy"

"Thanks Mari." Alya said. Marinette was about to leave but Alya called her back.

"Say Mari what time is your shift ending." Alya asked

"Its ending at one o'clock." Mari responded.

"And what are you leaving for college."

"I am leaving at two o'clock. Why?"

"Oh, no reason" Alya said with a sly smile on her lips as Marinette walked away.

"I know that look. What are you planning Alya?" Mylene questioned.

"Well Nino and the boys are having a little 'get together' at Adrien's house so I am simply going to text Nino to get Adrien out of the house so we can set up date to get Marinette and Adrien together before she leaves."

"Sneaky, I'm in." Juleka said.

The rest of the girls agreed, so Alya texted Nino telling him her plan and the girls ate their lunch.

At the Agreste Mansion, Adrien was hanging out with his friends. Nino, Max and him were playing video games, Ivan and Kim were playing at the foosball table.

After hours of playing Nino felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.

"Dudes can we pause the game for a sec." Nino asked

After they paused Nino took out his phone and read the text from Alya and he responded with an 'okay'.

"I'm going to take a break, can i use your computer Adrien?" Max asked while stretching.

"Sure." Adrien responded and turned to Nino and asked

"What was that all about?" he referred to the text Nino got.

"It was just Alya, anyway have you decided which college you are going to." Nino questioned

"No not yet, I still have to choose between the two." Adrien responded with a sigh

"I heard Marinette was going to one of them." Nino said

"Really, which one?" Adrien asked

"I think it's Harvard." Nino said

"Oh okay, I haven't seen much of her though since our graduation party." Adrien said with a sad smile.

"You do know that she had a major crush on you, right." Kim asked

Nino quickly shot him a glare but Kim shrugged him off.

Adrien was so surprised that his eyes went wide open.

"Wait what? She had a crush on me? When was this?" he asked a bit confused.

"Wow you are 99.9% oblivious Adrien." Max said

"She's liked you since highschool man." Ivan said.

"I really didn't know. Is that why she always jumbled her words around me?"

"Yeah it was dude." Nino said trying to hide a smirk.

The boys carried on talking but Adrien wasn't really paying attention. He was still stunned that Marinette had liked him all these years. At some point he stood up and told his friends that he was going for a walk.

As soon as he left Nino texted Alya and told her that Adrien was out of the house.

Marinette just finished serving the last customer and she said bye to her parents and Manon. She left at one because she wanted to get the rest of her stuff at her arpartment.

After she got the last bag in her car she went to the owner of the building and went to hand in her keys

As she was walking to her car while looking into her purse a picture fell out from it. She picked it up and looked at it with a sad smile. It was a picture of her and Adrien.

"I wish I had the courage to tell you" Marinette said to herself.

She went to her car and started driving while thinking about what might have been if she told Adrien she liked him. She approached a billboard that said: 'You are now leaving Paris. Come back soon'.

Marinette turned the car around and drove off to one specific place.

Adrien quickly ran inside the bakery when he saw it.

"Hello Adrien." Sabine said

"Hi Mrs Dupain-Cheng is Marinette still here?" Adrien said while trying to catch his breath.

"I'm sorry dear but you just missed her." Sabine responded

"Oh, I really wanted to talk to her." Adrien said with a sad expression on his face.

"You know she had this big crush on you in highschool." Sabine said with playfull smirk.

"I wish I knew, anyway buy Mrs Dupain-Cheng." Adrien said very sadly.

Adrien walked home and was very sad. He kept on questioning why he didn't see Marinette's crush on him sooner.

When he got to the front gate he saw a pink car he knew all too well, and to his surprise he saw Marinette sitting on the stairs. They made eye contact for about a minute or two but then Adrien went to sit next to her

"Hey" he said

"Hey" Marinette responded.

"What are you doing here i thought you left?" Adrien asked

"I actually came by to say...goodbye to you." Marinette said

"Off to school huh?" Adrien questioned

"Yeah, I'm leaving two weeks earlier because my parents will be out of town next week so they won't be able to drop me off."

"Oh. I haven't seen you all summer." Adrien said

"I've been busy." Marinette said sadly

There was a brief moment of silence before Adrien spoke again.

"You know Kim said somthing funny, he said you had a crush on me back in highschool." He said with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh,yeah I had a big crush on you."

"Well I had no idea." Adrien said 

"Really, I thought i was being so obvious." Marinette responded

"Absolutely, clueless... sorry." Adrien said while feeling sad.

"I sort of gave up when we got to 11th grade."

"Yeah, I think thats when I started to have a thing for you." Adrien said without looking at her.

Marinette's eyes went wide open then she spoke.

"Well thats unfortunate timing." She said sadly.

Adrien sighed

"Yeah it is, you off to college." He stated.

"Yep, Harvard university. Have you decided which school you are going to?" Marinette asked him.

"You know what I think I just did." Adrien said as he took out an envelope from his pocket and gave it to Marinette.

"Oh."Marinette said sadly.

"Whats wrong." Adrien asked while looking over Marinette's shoulder."oh shoot wrong letter sorry." He said as he took out the right letter from his pocket and gave it to Marinette.

"Well then I guess l will see you in two weeks." Marinette said and stood up Adrien did the same but asked Marinette to wait a second.

He went to his room to get a small box and was surprised to see that his friends weren't in there but didn't care.

He went back to Marinette outside.

"I got this for you on Valentines but I was shy to give it to you. I'm really  sorry that I never recognized your feelings I guess after my mom died I never let my heart love in fear of it getting broken again. Anyway I really do like you Marinette, so would you be my girlfriend." Adrien said as he opened the box in his hand.

Insied was a beautiful bracelet.

Marinette was in total shock she didn't know what to say. When she came back to reality she spoke.

"I would love to." She said with a big smile on her face.

Adrien put the bracelet on her wrist and hugged her. As they were huggging they heared people clapping around them so they pulled away and saw their friends clapping.

"Its about time." Alya said with a smirk on her face.

"We have been trying to get you two together all day." Max said.

"Thanks guys." Adrien said.

"I will miss you guys." Marinette said while hugging all her friends. Chloe was also there. Lastly she went to Adrien and gave him a big hug. When they pulled away they stared at each other and blushed. Marinette then walked to her car and looked at Adrien.

"See you in two weeks." Adrien said

Marinette shrugged playfully and said

"Eh, I've waited this long." And giggled. She got into her car and drove off.

A few seconds after Marinette drove off a blue car came and stopped in front of the house.

"Hey Chloe. Ready to go?" said the guy in the car.

Chloe went inside and gave the guy in the car a kiss.

"Hey Adrien.' The guy in the car greeted him.

"Hey Chad. Where are you guys going?" Adrien questioned.

Chad is Chloe's boyfriend. He has black hair and ocean blue eyes.

"Chad's taking me out for ucraniun food." Chloe responded

"Can we drop you anywhere?" asked Chad.

Adrien looked in the distance where Marinette drove off and smiled.

"As a matter of fact.....

Marinette stopped at a red light, looked at her bracelet and smiled. She didn't notice the blue car that stopped next to hers.

Adrien jumped out of Chad's car and went to Marinette's window and knocked.

Marinette got out of her car and turned to Adrien.

"Adrien what are you doing." She asked.

"This." he said while putting one of his hands on Marinette's cheek and kissed her. Marinette was surprised at first but wrapped her arms around his neck.

Chloe quickly took a picture and send it to all of their friends

"I never knew she had a thing for him." Chad said. Chloe looked at him and said.

"What really."

"Just messing with you, everyone knew." Chad said as he drove away.

"Well that was worth a wait." Marinette said after they pulled away.

"Yes it was." Adrien said and gave ker one last kiss.

That day both Marinette and Adrien went to bed with a smile on their faces.
