Third person POV

A sob echoed through the four walls of the room as the only male sitting on the bed sniffled, wiping his tears away from his cheek, leaving the skin red.

His knees pressed together tightly with his chest, hiding his face in between them, another cry escaped his mouth, looking up at the ceiling in a failed attempt to stop his tears.

The man's surroundings only made him sob louder, his lower lip wobbling in pain and with heartbreak, the wound of betrayal fresh on his chest. He raised his palm again to wipe his tears away, accidentally brushing it over the corner of his lips, he hissed.

The pain and the little droplets of blood on his fingers remind Taehyung of the past horrible events that happened in the early afternoon.

** few hours ago **

The blonde haired male stirred awake from his sleep, sighing with distress at his third day in the same room without any human presence.

His eyesight travelled to the fresh clothes and food kept on the bedside table as he forced his heart to calm down. Burning himself with his thoughts.

“Thankfully they are giving me food and fresh clothes, Tae. Father would have just kept me alive on tap water.” Taehyung chuckled to himself, shaking his head as he felt his eyes burn. Forcing himself to take the shower and chug the meat down his throat.

Hours passed as the male stuck to his bed after breakfast, roaming his head around the room, the four walls painted in white with no window, the only furniture being there was the bed and a side stool with a small cabinet by the corner.

The blonde haired male let his brain wander at the memories of the past night, where Jungkook paid him the visit. His head hurt from thinking about what could the mafia actually mean by his words and what did his father do to make him so mad.

Taehyung shivered at the thought of getting hurt by the mafia, as he bit on his lip nervously remembering how the raven had almost choked him to death.

Taehyung loves his Jungkookie but he was terrified of the mafia Jeon Jungkook, the blonde was picking on the bedsheets with his thoughts when the door of his room snapped open.

The male had thought the same guard would have brought him lunch but turning his head to the side, he flinched backward at finding an unfamiliar male.

Taehyung stood up hurriedly, stepping back when the unfamiliar male in front of him stepped forward, his heart going wild in his heart, strangers were always scary.

And he almost screamed when his wrist was held by the other, trying with his other hand to soften the grip. But he was weak as his body was dragged without his consent.

“W-what— where are you taking me?” The male asked, receiving no response from the guard, his eyes teared with fear as he struggled to get free, looking around the hallway for help but none spared him a glance.

“Pl-please, leave me! J-jungkook..” Taehyung stammered, his tongue rolling out the name without his knowledge, the man he was most familiar and unknown with.

The Male's heart rate continued to swallow his soul as he let himself dragged to an unfamiliar room, his petite figure was pushed inside, hardly balancing his body, he faced forward.

Eyes going wet at the male standing in front of him, only his back visible to Taehyung's eyes. With his sight blurry the male took a step forward only to gasp when the mafia's elder brother stepped in front of him, blocking his view.

Taehyung flinched back from Yoongi, now taking in his surroundings, the room occupied by Yoongi, Jimin who was standing in the corner with his hands crossed and the mafia himself.

Yoongi glared at the blonde mop as he raised his angry fist at the younger who widened his eyes, clenching them tighter, expecting the hard blow but a stern voice made his way to his ears—

“Hyung— No.” Opening his eyes, he once again met with the mafia's back, the elder in front of him stepped back, glaring at Taehyung who gulped.

Later, Taehyung's petite figure was pushed back onto the couch as he looked worried at Yoongi and Jungkook, his eyes shining longingly at his back.

“You might have lots of questions, Taehyung?” Jimin's rough voice made him flinch out of his trance. As he raised his sight to meet with the other's angry gaze.

The man in front of him smirked at his tiny nod as he leaned down toward the younger with his arms still closed, Taehyung's heart leaping in his throat, his eyes widening.

“But we should never keep the pawn in confusion, right?” Taehyung's eyes blurred as he forced them to not shed tears, his sight travelling to the mafia's broad back.

The blonde clenched the fabric of his pants in his fist, shutting his eyes in fear of whatever the next words of Jimin held for him. He had stayed strong since his birth,

But today he needed to be stronger.

As he looked up at Jimin's glare, the walls surrounding his pupils leaving the man in front of him hesitated. Taehyung nodded his head, the other smirking.

《《 Flashback 》》

“Hyung!” The thirteen year old exclaimed in excitement as he watched the seventeen year old and his family walked toward his direction.

His round doe eyes and soft features beaming with happiness, making a run toward the elder. But the boy's eyes widened when he felt himself tripped over his legs, his figure falling forward.

The coconut head boy panicked, closing his eyes, waiting to meet face first with the ground, but his figure collided with something softer, opening his eyelids, he felt giddy in his bones.

The hard glare thrown toward him made him giggle loudly, the other displeased at the shameless act of his brother.

“Jeon Jungkook!” He exclaimed, straightening the said boy on his feet as he felt himself tugged in a bone crushing hug.

“Yes Yoongi hyung-nim.” The younger smiled, bunny tooth in front poking from behind his upper lip. Arms still wrapped around the other's figure.

A soft smile occurred on Yoongi's face, his gums slightly visible but the boy pressed his lips into a thin line, eyes narrowing almost like an offended cat, he struggled to push the other away.

“Go away, you are making me eww!” The elder exclaimed, cheeks tinting in pink when heard his and Jungkook's parents laugh at them. The younger bun in his embrace cackling at his tries to get free.

Letting him go as he watched his brother shy away from them. Their parents standing far away from them, his dad on a phone call and Yoongi's parents setting up food at a distance while grinning from ear to ear.

As he watched his mother standing alone at a distance, the boy made a run toward her, the sea ahead of him shaded in the colour of sky. Loud waves crashing against the shore.

“I love Jeju mom! Everything here's so pretty.” The teen looked at his mother, who was grinning from ear to ear, caressing her son's head with love.

“But everytime Dada makes the area private where we are visiting and I get bored, there's no one.” The kid pouted, whining low in his throat, the sound made his mother laugh as she smiled.

“It's for safety, sweetheart.” His mother answered. The boy looked ahead at the wide sea with his locks bouncing in the air.

“But still— You both have each other. I don't have anyone.” The boy mumbled, his mother laughing as she leaned down to the level of her teen's shoulder.

The pretty sea ahead of them, standing on the top of Jusangjeolli cliff, she whispered into his ear.

“It's alright, love. When you get older, you can also bring your companion here, we all will have lots of fun.” The lady laughed as her son pushed her away softly, his round cheeks tinted in pink.

“Mom..” He whined, glaring at his mom. When his sight travelled behind his mother, widening with terror. Jungkook's lips trembled, his mother frowning as she turned around.

But a scream made its way out of her lips when saw three men standing at a distance, their hands carrying heavy weapons, her husband unknown to the danger.

The scream caught everybody's attention, her husband matching his lover's sight as he smiled, stepping forward only to gasp in pain and shock when numerous bullets pierced through his back.

She made a run toward her husband, worried. Scared. Many tears in her eyes but her steps were stopped by Yoongi's father clashing onto her. He looked panicked at his sister.

“We, we need to run, Hyuna! T-this is..” His words were inaudible, her angry gaze travelled to her brother's face. More men rushed toward them.

Her heart broke as she cried out, her husband on his stomach, red crimson blood surrounding him as he let his orbs meet with his wife. Shaking his head softly, he put a bunny smile on his lips, blinking his eyes as his lips moved.

Jeon Hyuna felt her body dragged in the opposite direction, tears slipping down her cheeks, she sobbed watching his husband whisper “I love you, both” to her. Closing his eyes as he slipped to a forever slumber.

Yoongi held Jungkook's hand, who hadn't moved an inch from his place, his orbs fixed at his father's dead figure, tears gathered in the elder's eyes as he dragged the other.

His feet refused to move as he kept looking in the direction of his father, Yoongi's mom covering his sight, her cheeks wet with water droplets.

Jungkook looked up at his aunt, big doe eyes confused and lips trembling, “Dada..” He whispered. Finally realising his body being dragged he struggled to get free from his brother's tight grip, a yell following.

“Let me go, Hyung! Dada!” The teenager yelled, angry at his brother. Yoongi looked at him sadly. When he heard his father curse.

“I left my gun in the cottage, shit!” He watched his father look behind at the attackers, his eyebrows frowning. The expressions scare Yoongi to the core.

As he watched, his father handed his phone to his mother, the lady looking at her partner with horrored eyes.

“Keep this, love. And run as fast as you can. There's no signal but maybe if you could go down the cliff! Run away.” He whispered the last part, his eyes wetting as both the kids and the females widened their eyes.

Protesting, but they were shushed by the elder male. His heart broke painfully inside his chest as he placed a token of love on his lover's head and another peck of affection on his sister's crown of head.

Bending down, he looked at Yoongi with pride, the father inside him crying as a lone tear slipped down his chin, the boy hugged his father tightly, a sob ripping through his throat.

Jungkook's eyes didn't blink, his orbs meeting with his favourite uncle's sight, who smiled while hugging a crying Yoongi to his chest.

“Kook-ah, you are strong. Hmm?” The boy nodded in a faze, his stiff figure pulled by the elder as he hugged him closer, Jungkook's fist curling around his shirt.

“You both are strongest. Take care of each other, boys. And don't fight, I'll keep a watch, okay.” The man laughed, breaking the hug as he pushed all four of them away. Wiping his face he rolled his shoulder back, ready to fight the intruders scaring his family.

The four of them made a run toward the stairs going down, only to cry in terror and worry when watched a lot of men coming toward them from the same path, as they turned around.

Faces messy with tears when the bullets being shot, Yoongi's father's body falling on the ground with a thud. His mother panicked as she ran toward her husband. Yoongi followed, his forearm grabbed by the other lady.

Who shook her head, the seventeen year old cried out, sobbing as he struggled to break free from a crying Hyuna, only to have his face pressed against a smaller figure.

Looking down he hiccuped, Jungkook's big doe orbs fixed over his face, warm water droplets adoring his sight. The younger shook his head,

“Y-yoongi hyung is strong. Uncle said to be strong.” He whispered, his mother pulling them to run as Yoongi watched his mother crying hugging his father's dead body, his eyes watering but he flinched as an inaudible gasp left his lips when watched a man hit his mother on the head.

His parents disappeared from his sight.

A frustrated curse left Hyuna's lips, watching that they had run to the end of the cliff, the wide dangerous sea in front and those murderers behind. She cried out, looking around in fear.

When a thought made its way to her brain, pulling the boys toward the side, she looked at them with her wide bambi eyes. Biting on her lower lip, she closed her eyes.

If they all hide in there, those men would do a search to find them but if— the lady opened her eyelashes, Jungkook's big eyes fixed on her. As she looked at Yoongi and made him hold Jungkook's hand.

The boy looked scared at her, “You both will p-protect each other, right? Yoongi-ah, J-Jungkook-ah please t-take care of each other.”

They both looked confused at her, holding onto her sleeve tightly, Jungkook shifted toward her mother. As she first pulled Yoongi into a hug, pecking his forehead, the boy cried into her embrace, his loud sobs muffled.

Breaking the hug, her caramel brown orbs travelled to his son's, who was looking at him with wide eyes. Expressions scared and worried.

“M-mom..” He stuttered, pulling the teenager to herself, she cried, her shoulders shaking. Many tears slipped down her cheeks. She kissed the boy repeatedly over his raven locks, caressing them and feeling the touch after one last time.

“Promise me, Jungkook, you will be a good boy and stick with Yoongi. Do whatever Yoongi says. O-Okay?” She patted her son's back, who nodded his head, hiding in her warm embrace.

“Your father and I-I both love you the most. Hunny bunny, do not cry after I am g-gone. You are strong.” She uttered, her child's fist tightening on the piece of cloth she wore.

She felt her eyelids turn heavy with overwhelming emotions, looking down at the boy in her embrace, she remembered the time she had held her pink bundle of joy for the first time. Those big doe bambi eyes and those bunny teeth.

The female broke the hug as she looked at Jungkook's face with longing eyes, treasuring the sight deeper into her heart, her throat burning with the choked syllables she wanted to cry out.

And even though her thirteen year old kid hadn't shed a tear, she read those eyes like an open book, sparkling with fear and pain. she smiled softly wiping her face;

As she raised her palm and took off the chain pendant hanging around her neck, she made it wear to Jungkook, the boy looking confused. Staring at both the kids, her expressions fell.

“Do you both know about uncle Jung?” Hyuna looked at both the children as they nodded their heads. Pulling both of them closer, she lowered her voice.

“Find him. He— he's my brother—” She watched the kid's widen their eyes, “— He's the only one now who can help us. Jungkook-ah, this necklace will help you both get into his states. I can trust you, right?” She looked at them seriously, Yoongi taking Jungkook's hand in his hold as they both nodded determinedly.

As she hugged them once again, tears decorating her face. Making Jungkook look at her, she proceeded to let go but the boy held tighter onto her hand, her breath choking in her throat. Jungkook looked up at his mom pleading.

“D-don't go.” He uttered, the lady in front of him crying silently as she tried getting his fingers free from Jungkook's tight grip.

Taking a step back, she clenched her eyes, Jungkook stumbling forward, “Pl-please, d-don't go.” The boy held tightly onto her mother's hand who struggled to muffle a sob.

Watching his mother turn away from him, his feet unconsciously moving toward her, when Yoongi held his figure. Hiding the stressed younger in his warm embrace. Fat water droplets over his cheeks.

The lady stepped away from the place, her heart heavy in her chest as she hurriedly grabbed two big rocks, rolling one after another into the sea from the height of the cliff. The sound of water splash resonating throughout the cliff.

Jungkook watched her mother throw the stones in the sea, his eyes fixed at the scene happening at a far distance from them, his figure hidden behind trees and bushes. His heart sinking deeper into his chest with every passing second.

As he watched those men shoot bullets toward her, Jungkook's eyes didn't blink as he watched his mother's soft skin pierced, his mother's blood oozing out. The thirteen year old watched his mother's dead body fall back, hitting her head over the big rock, pain on her face as she took her last breath, her petite figure falling down in the sea.

Both the boys sat there without moving an inch, until the sun had disappeared behind the clouds, the bright moon adoring in the sky. Their eyes were void of any tears as they continued staring in one direction, their parent's figures, those smiles, their life flashing in front of them.

Yoongi moved his head as he looked up at the night sky, the stars shining so bright. His eyes watered. Glancing at the boy beside him, the elder pulled Jungkook toward him, the thirteen old flinching at the sudden action.

His voice heavy, “W-we should leave, Jungkook. T-this is b-best time.” Yoongi spoke, the younger nodding his head slightly as they both stood up on their way to leave.

But their steps came to an immediate halt watching a few people, walking toward the edge of the cliff, bending down. They hid, eyebrows frowned, staring at each other confused.

“Did you really see them jumping off the cliff?” The man in his early thirty asked, dressed in a three piece suit. The man behind him answering in hushed voice,

“Yes sir. She fell off the cliff with her two kids.” The man lied for the sake of his life. The male in front of him laughed loudly.

As he stepped forward chuckling, “It was so easy to take you down, Jeon.” His words made both Jungkook and Yoongi gasp, their eyes widening with shock and terror.

The voice. The man. He was—

The male took a step forward, his attention diverted when he felt something under his feet, picking the jewellery piece up. He smirked at the blood stain over it. He chuckled.

Snapping his finger toward one of his men, he walked back. Yoongi's eyes darkened at the scene in front of him. Jungkook's fist tightening at the fabric of his clothes, the jewellery piece belonging to his mother, stained in his mother's blood.

His eyes followed the sight, when the men brought an almost ten year old boy with him, stopping in front of the murderer of their parents.

The younger kid hesitantly looked up at his father as he hid his figure behind the minion. His father smiled, his eyes darkening as he cleaned the blood away from the bracelet. Pulling the boy forward who flinched, he made him wear the jewellery.

The boy looked up at him with eyes blown wide, his puppy caramel orbs shining at the pretty piece adoring his wrist. “For you.”

Glancing up at his father, he blinked twice. “F-for me?” He asked in disbelief, the man smiled. Nodding as the ten year old smiled widely.

Everything I do is for you, my son.”

Jungkook's fist turned white as his twinkling orbs hardened, the thirteen year old boy's heart beating with rage and hatred for the smile sticking on his face. His wide smile and fingers tracing the silver jewellery as he watched them disappeared from their sight.

Jungkook's jaw clenched so his brother behind him was glaring into the thin air with eyes spitting fire, the man's words echoing in both of their ears.

“Nobody can win over, Kim Hyungsik.”

《《 Flashback end 》》

The gasp that Taehyung let out was louder than anyone and anything in the room, his eyes blown wide at the reveal. Big, fat water droplets on his face as he felt his fingers shake gripping his hood.

The silence in the room was thick, so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Jimin who had recited the past was feeling his throat burn with emotions. Yoongi's eyes were lost in the trance of thin air.

And the mafia refused to turn around and face anybody. His heart was beating with anger that could burn the place. Knuckles turned white by his clenched fist, nails digging into his palm as they drew blood.

A loud sob echoed throughout the room breaking the silence to the series of loud cries and hiccups. Taehyung's heart hurt.

As he sobbed and looked at his own wrist, the silver, diamond jewellery piece adored, shining in the light of the room. He let out another cry, wet orbs resting on Jungkook's back. The clouds of sadness surrounding them.

His words were choked in his throat as he let out a low, “I-i am sorry..” The blonde cried out, proceeding to stand up on his shaking legs as he took a step closer to the mafia.

But the next moment, his petite figure was flying across the room, back hitting the wall with the force to make Taehyung let out a shocked and painful scream. His eyes shut out of pain.

The younger whimpered in pain, opening his eyelashes to look at Yoongi's raised fist and glaring eyes fixed at him. His heart sank deeper into his stomach when he watched the elder step forward, his collar into his hold.

Scared and sad caramel orbs meeting with Yoongi's dark one, as the other male hissed at his face angrily.

“Sorry? You are fucking what!?” Once again, an angry punch was thrown at his jaw, making him gasp in pain and Taehyung cried out tears when his lower lip hit the hard ground, his jaw hurting and lip bleeding.

“After your father ruined our life! Killed our parents! Just for you— You are fucking sorry!?” The man screamed angry, furiously walking toward the crying blonde, who flinched back, covering his head in a failed attempt to get hurt.

As his blonde locks were fisted by Yoongi, pulling his figure to stand up in his place, soft pleas escaped Taehyung's mouth. The angry Male's hand raises to hit the younger once again as he burns in anger;

“That's enough, hyung.” The mafia's voice resonated throughout the room, stopping his elder brother in between his action as Taehyung flinched at the waves of anger sounding in the words. His blurred sight travelled to Jungkook's broad back.

Yoongi glared at Jungkook, watching the raven nodding his head slightly as he let go of Taehyung's locks, the blonde crying out from the pain. The elder pushed the blonde away harshly as Taehyung's eyes widened, tripping over his feet. The glass table in front.

But his figure crashed into another person, the guard who had dragged him to here as he tried shuffling back from his stiff figure but he wouldn't let go. The mafia's orders filling the blonde's ears.

“Take him away, Jackson.” The guard nodded silently as he continued to drag Taehyung with him, the younger's tears slipping down from his eyes as they rolled down his cheeks. The mafia's back slowly disappeared from his sight.

《《 Flashback end 》》

Taehyung's eyes watered as he remembered the past events, his heart hurting behind his limbs. His orbs travelling to his own wrist, the silver jewellery piece, the male felt a sob resting on the tip of his tongue.

Imagining the same jewellery adoring Jungkook's mother's hand, later stained with her blood. The blood that was caused by his own father— the cry finally ripping out his throat.

As he curled his hand on his chest, closer to her heart. Hugging it tighter with his other hand as painful hiccups left his lips, broken apology on his lips.

I-i am sorry, s-so sorry. Pl-please forgive me, I-i am sorry.” He cried out, shoulders shaking with each of his syllables. Deep guilt tightening his chest as Taehyung cried out his loud apologies
