Vivian Pov

We were all walking towards one direction( not the band). I knew that if we kept going at the same direction as a group, it will take awhile. Thankfully the indigo one( eventho she's purple) caught on and said that we need to split up as two group. She will go will Gold while I have to take the weird one. Before we were separated, we found some lanterns. Now we can see better

To be honest, I was kinda bummed out. I wanna go with Gold. And I saw that she was talking with him. The weird one looked at me. She emits a menacing aura. It made my guard stand up. We walked the opposite way from Gold and the hedgehog.

It was kinda quiet the whole time until she spoke. " Ya know, that reaction was weird" she said while her eyes are still on the road. " What'd you mean?" I asked confused. It was confusing of what she said. What does she mean by that?

She turned to stare at me. " You know what I mean" she said with a serious face. She gave me a death glare. She then turned her head to the road.

I don't wanna die! I was panicking in my head cuz she seemed serious to kill me. Oh, how I wish she wasn't my partner.

Lailani Pov

I manage to get Gold away from Vivian. That girl was getting too close. I don't want her to have my man. But wait, we're alone now. Uh oh.

Um, this is kinda awkward. I don't know what to do. Usually, Ari would be grinning or hyping the mood or smt. But we're both alone now

I didn't realize that Gold was looking at me. My face was a tomato and I didn't realize it.

Gold Pov

I was teamed up with Lailani. I was kinda glad. I don't want to pair up with Ari. That girl gave me the chills. Vivian was a bit clingy. I turned to look at Lailani. It must be pretty hot cuz she was as red as a tomato.

Then, I realize we were alone. I started blushing. I was a bit flustered cuz Lailani was also blushing and that we were alone, separated from the hooligans (hey that's rude. I'm no hooligan!).

It was getting more and more awkward so I popped up a conversation.

"So, how's Sarah and Sonic?" I said, trying to change the mood.

"Oh, um, they're alright. Sonic keeps going on adventures though. Well, I guess a hero is always busy huh" she said. She seems quite upset that she couldn't spend time with her brother-in-law.

"Maybe, after all of this is over. You could catch him and finally spend time together" I said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, maybe. Thanks for helping Gold" She said while a smile formed on her face.

"Anytime, Lai" I said while smiling.

Little did I know, after that conversation. It would be the last time we have a friendly conversation.
