Gold and I was walking through the woods, still looking for the parts needed for Tails's tornado. It was quite weird though. How come we can't find any basic parts like scrap metal in this area?

It felt as if my pocket was vibrating. I checked it and the blue gem was glowing. Faintly but still a dim light at the center of it. I wanted to tell Gold about the sapphire. But I didn't want to worry him further.

We searched the area and found a clearing. There in the middle was something we believe we will find in a forest, a generator. It was one of the items needed to repair the tornado.

I was going to approach the generator when Gold stopped me. He pointed out that it was very fishy that a generator of all things was in the middle of a forest and is in good condition too. He threw a rock at the generator and shockingly, it went through and hit a trap that would turned me into mushed meat if he didn't stop me.

Just as I turned around to thank him, a kunai flew right pass me. I was able to easily dodge it cuz of my speed but Gold wasn't fast enough. It missed him by a millimeter and scratch his face. Now he has that look like a movie character that has a scratch on their face.

I was a bit angry at this but I didn't want Gold to see. I turned and saw a hooded figure standing in the area where the generator was. It was obviously a wolf since the ears are poking out.

"Who are you?!" Gold yelled at the figure. But they just stood there, motionless.

Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, the figure lunges at me and Gold. They fought in the style of a ninja. For a moment, I thought I was in Naruto.

Gold was trying to fight the figure but he wasn't fast enough. While I was able to dodge almost all of they're attacks, I was a tad bit injured from all of the scars from their knives.

Gold had an idea and search something in his belt. He later pulled out a cube.

"Get outta the way, Lai!" He yelled at me. I immediately moved to the side before he threw the cube infront of the wolf. The cube formed a sort of barrier around the wolf.

I stopped attacking and stood outside the barrier facing the wolf. The wolf attacked the barrier multiple times but failed. Finally after awhile, she stops. I cautiously approach the barrier and spoke to them.

"Uh, hey, you. Why did you attack us?" I cautiously ask my question. I made sure not to sound offensive.

The figure stood there motionless. They didn't say anything. Now that the figure was standing still I can tell what gender they are. They're a girl. Bit she still didn't say anything. I was about to force my way through when Gold stopped me.

"Lai, look, she's talking" he pointed out at the wolf. Indeed she was infact talking. But more like whispering. And in that moment, I immediately knew who she was.

It was Whisper the wolf. I immediately lowered the barrier despite Gold's warnings. Whisper had been wondering the woods for a while now. She explained that she and the wisps were attacked by 'the man in the mask'. He sounded almost familiar but it could be anyone. The man attacked the wisps and captured them. Whisper couldn't do anything about it as she was powerless without the wisps. She roamed the forest for days and recently got hired to kill two hedgehogs that looked sus.

Gold Pov

Lailani was being very talkative around Whisper. I'm still quite wary around her though since she just tried to kill us just a second ago. But then again she did got promised that the masked man will free the wisps.

Speaking of the mask man, he sounded quite familiar. Like, I've heard of him before... I wonder why...

We teamed up with Whisper and she agreed to help us look for the missing parts for the Tornado. But I can't help but feel like we're being watched by something or rather... Someone...

(Sorry for the hiatus, was busy with school and stuff. You know how it is for a 14 year old girl. Also, I have writer's block so don't blame me. Everyone gets them!)
