What the hell just happened?

I stood there starring in the direction Alex ran. My dads car lurched to a stop next to me and he jumped out, checking me for any sort of marks or scratches.

"Jenna, WHAT HAPPENED?" He asked shaking me back into reality.

I blinked a couple times and looked at him. Should I tell him?...

"I'm fine dad, don't worry. I think it was just a squatter or something..." He gave me the look and we got into his truck.

We talked about what happened for a little while but dropped it right before we got back home.

I need to tell the group this! And hopefully Alex doesn't see it....

We got back inside and I asked if I could be left alone for a little while, and surprisingly, they let me. I went into the room I shared with my little sister and locked the door. I jumped onto my facebook and quickly messaged Reanna and Cat.

Cats P.O.V 

Did Jenna really see Alex? I mean, She has been gone for over a week and then, poof, she's back? It doesn't make sense...

There was a lot of tension in the group before Alex disappeared and it was taking a toll on all of us. Alex and Jenna were fighting a lot and Alex said somethings that really upset Jenna. I just tried to stay calm through it all. I tried to make them both happy and to not choose a side but things got out of hand. And as soon as they work something out Alex disappears. I don't understand this anymore...but I guess I just have to keep calm and be there...

I walked inside of Jenna's house and her dog Tucker pounced on my shoes barking like mad. I smiled and scratched him behind his ears. I kicked my shoes off and walked into Jenna's room after talking to her parents. I knocked and she looked up from her tablet and jumped up and hugged me.

We both heard a knock at the outside door and we rushed over to it. After seeing it was only Reanna we let her in and she took her shoes off as well.

Reanna's P.O.V

I was greeted by Jenna and Cattie and I smiled. We all walked into Jenna's room and sat on her bed.

"So whats wrong? What's going on?" I asked

We both looked at Jenna waiting for a reply.

"Well, you know how I saw Alex?" We nodded

"Well...she looked, different."

"What do you mean different?" Cattie asked

"I mean she was different! More serious, She didn't have that whole playful aura that she use to have. And when she ran off, she was a whole lot quicker." I listened carefully

"Did she say anything?" Jenna nodded.

"She said that she's sorry that the group isn't coming back together for a while, and that if I say anything to anyone but you guys, she wouldn't be so merciful the next time I saw her..." Jenna looked down, most likely thinking.

"Well, don't worry! You've got us to help!" I said determined.

"My heroes." Jenna chuckled meekly.

Don't worry Jenna. If I see Alex hurt you I'll be the one that she answers to.

3rd person P.O.V

The group stayed up late that night. Not knowing people were listening in from close by. The strangers frowned and walked off. They walked to the forest line and vowed that from this point on they would stop here every night.

(TIME SKIP)

The group woke up early that morning and made the decision to go out that morning. And again the strangers watched them from the treeline. Waiting, hoping silently that they would be seen and not have to hide anymore. But that wasn't the case. No. Just like all the other times, they were over looked. Thrown to the side never to be seen again. But that was about to change. They took the chance and the three girls were grabbed by the strange people that have been following them for the longest time now. They had already grabbed the first one. With these three, the requirements were filled and they could move on to the next stage of the plan.

"Do you think they fit the description?"

"Who the hell cares? lets just grab 'em and go!"

The strangers disappeared into the trees
