Chapter 17
Chat Noir's POV
I watched in amusement to Alya's reaction as she found out Ladybugs identity. Nino looked over at me, somehow managing to sneak up next to us without anyone noticing.
"Nice to meet you Ladybug." Nino chuckled looking at Marinette.
"And who could Chat Noir be..." Alya mused, looking at me and smirking. She turned back to Marinette before pointing at me, "Him?"
"Well, looks like you're not as dense as I thought." I joked.
"Says the cat who couldn't figure out who his partner in crime was, even though she sat behind him in class." Alya retorted, "Same hair color and style! Same eyes, same voice." She smirked.
"And you were the blogger, dedicating most of your time to finding her identity, and she's your best friend!" I answered back, smirking at my victory.
"So summing it up..." Nino decided, looking at all of us, "We're all dense."
We all laughed and Nino smiled in triumph.
"Why don't we all go to my bakery." Marinette offered.
"But the park..." Alya trailed off thinking.
"Croissants." It was one word but that was all it took to get Alya to agree.
"Only if I get all of them!" Alya joked, grinning at the thought.
"Nope! Mine." I pouted playfully.
We headed off towards Mari's house, me and Alya still arguing about the croissants.
"Well, I'm her best friend." Alya teased, "And she promised me croissants!"
"You will give them to me, won't you bugaboo?" I turned towards Mari.
"Ugh!" She groaned.
"See!" Alya took the opportunity to prove her point, "I am her favorite."
Just then we approached Mari's house and she went up to unlock the door.
"Hi mom." She called as she entered the bakery, "I brought some friends over."
"Ok sweetie." Her mom called back as we entered the bakery.
Marinette walked over to the counter and grabbed a plate, putting four croissants on the red ceramic. She walked over to us and I smiled in amusement at Alya.
"What!" She exclaimed in mock surprise, "Only four? Those had better be all for me."
I laughed as she continued the debate, "Nope, there for meh!" I smirked, snatching the plate from Mari and stuffing one of the croissants in my mouth.
"Hey!" Alya exclaimed before snatching a croissant from the plate I held.
I turned to see Nino watching us in amusement as we fought over our two croissants.
"Well, I know not to give them a plate of croissants next time." Mari laughed as we ate our victory. I looked up in surprise as the plate was slid out of my grasp and I turned to see Mari holding the remaining two croissants. "Here you go Nino." She smiled and held out the plate, taking one of the two for herself.
Nino reached out and took one of the croissants, looking back at Alya who had already finished hers and smiled. Taking his croissant he tore off a little piece and tossed it towards her.
"Oooh!" She exclaimed, stepping forward and catching it in her mouth. I looked over to see Mari applauding her best friends talents.
We headed upstairs to Mari's room and she walked over to her computer, turning it on.
"Aww!" I purred as her screensaver popped up, watching as her face paled, it was of course a picture of Adrien Agreste... me. I walked over to her, draping my arm on her shoulder and heard Alya giggle.
"So you took all the pictures of him down from your walls, but you left your screen saver." She giggled again.
"You had pictures of me all over you wall?" I asked in amusement and watched her face turn from pale to bright red.
Alya covered her mouth, realizing what she had said and continued to giggle.
Ok... Maybe I should do a new akuma attack. My friend came up with a pretty good idea, The Zombinator! So maybe I'll do that.
I just got some camembert and its pretty good! sorry...
Bye bye mon petit papillons
