Serena's POV
After that stupid King, ran away, me and Ash are walking through Lumiose City. We have heard about some kind of rebellion that has come together.

I'm 16 since yesterday. Ash was 17. Well, I guess he is kinda charming... again exactly why am I thinking about this? Oh well. Maybe I actually have a huge crush on him.

As we walk past an alley, Me and Ash get hit over the head, and we both pass out.

When I wake up, I see Ash next to me, on the ground in a small room, beginning to wake up.

"Welcome back.....My granddaughter." I hear a familiar voice say.

I look to the left as I sit up. I see a man with gray hair. He's looking at me with a small smile, and I can see light blue eyes.

"Grandfather?!" I shout.

"Hello Serena. It's been far to long." He replied happily. My grandfather comes and gives me a hug.

"W-Why..h-how?! How did you escape!?" I shout

"Simple. I was never captured darling." He replies.

"What about Grandmother? Is she alright?"

"Serena? What's going on." Ash says as he wakes up.

Grandfather sighs. "Let me explain to you both, what has happened to both your regions in the year you've been away."

Me and Ash look at each other, and get up to follow my grandpa. Ash picks up Pikachu, and we grab all our Pokeballs.

As we walk down a hall I start a conversation. "Grandfather? Why did you knock us out earlier?"

"Well, we couldn't take the chance that you both weren't actually Prince Ash and Princess Serena. The rebellion agreed to it."

"Wait....rebellion? What rebellion?" Ash asks.

"Well, ever since July 1st of last year, Professor Sycamore and Professor Oak, began a rebellion in Kalos and Kanto." Grandfather replies.

"Your highness!" I hear from behind me. I turn around to see someone I thought dead.

"J-Jackson!? Your alive!" I shout. "But how?!"

"I'll tell you later. Right now, your grandfather has to show you around. It's great to see you again princess."

"Oh, so he can call you princess, but I can't?" Ash asks.

"Please, I never said you couldn't, at least not for a year." I answer

"You are to much to handle sometimes." Ash adds.

"Just shut up" I say rolling my eyes.

"I only shut up, when I want to, miss Serena." He says smirking.

I sigh. I then hear a little chuckling from in front of us. I turn to see grandfather with a huge smile on his face.

"What's so funny?" I ask

"Oh nothing Serena. You two just remind me of your mother and your father before they got...." Grandfather starts.

I cover his mouth with my hand blushing. "And what's that about huh Princess?" Ash asks.

"N-Nothing!! It's about nothing!!" I yell.

Ash's POV
Serena quickly covers her grandfathers mouth before he finishes saying something about us and her parents. I see her blushing.

"And what's that about huh Princess?" I ask.

"N-Nothing!! It's about nothing!!" She yells.

I roll my eyes. As Serena's grandfather walks forward through a door, we enter an office.

"Welcome to the rebellion underground base Prince Ash and Princess Serena!" Professor Sycamore shouts. "It's marvelous isn't it?"

Me and Serena just look at him. "Some things never change...." Serena mutters.

"Anyway, now that your both back, we can finally end this Tyranny!" Sycamore yells.

"Hey. Professor? Do you know who this guy's name is?" I ask.

"I don't, but everyone in the rebellion calls him Shadow. Princess, you were lucky to escape."

"Why? Because I was going to be executed?"

"No. Well yes, that, after he would've forced you to marry him." Sycamore responds

"Oh...."

"Yeah. So I hear you both have legendary Pokémon. May I see them all?" Sycamore asks.

Me and Serena look at each other before pulling out two master balls each. We both throw them into the air.

Yveltal and Lunala appear in the tall room. Hovering overhead. Then Latios and Latias come out and zip around the room.

"Amazing! Now what about your royal Pokémon?" Sycamore asks.

"What?"

"The two that you started with!" Sycamore shouts.

"Sorry!" Me and Serena shout throwing our other two Pokeballs. They reveal Greninja, Pikachu, Sylveon, and Braixen.

"Wow! After an entire year of living away from civilization, these 4 are at perfect health!"

"Thank you Professor. But we aren't joining a rebellion! We can do this on our own. We both have scores to settle with the Shadow guy." I say enthusiastically.

"That's right. Sorry Professor, we aren't joining." Serena adds.

"Princess. We should leave. We are putting these people in a lot of danger." Lunala says telepathically to Serena.

"Your right....sorry Professor, we must leave. We are putting everyone here at risk." Serena says strictly.

"If you feel that way, Fine...you may leave. Gregory, show them out." Sycamore says to Serena's grandfather.

On the way down another hall, Gregory starts a conversation.

"To answer your earlier question Serena, your grandmother is safe. I sent her off to Sinnoh before it got to bad."

"Oh thank god. Do you know anything about Ash's family?" Serena asks.

"Actually yes I do. Professor Oak usually tells me that his grandparents are doing really well. Also want to know what's pretty nice?" Gregory asks.

"What is it?" I ask curiously.

"Your old friend, Gary Oak? He's the General for the rebellion in Kanto. At such a young age. 18 years old."

"Really? Well that is pretty sweet."

As I say that an alarm goes off. Someone starts speaking over the intercom of the base.

"Alert all personnel, A large number of enemy soldiers are on the march to Lumiose city. We have reason to believe General Cyrus is leading the Attack. Good luck!" After that the intercom shuts off and Gregory is looking at us.

"We need your help...no one has ever beaten his Dialga. You two can. Together."

"I won't. It's your fight, not ours." Serena says coldly.

"Every single bit of this is your fight Princess!! This is your region, your kingdom! You need to help! It's your duty!" Gregory shouts. "Even though this isn't your Ash, you need to help as well!"

This time Serena nods and looks towards me. "Together....Ash...." she says silently.

"Yes Serena...we'll finish this fight!" I shout confidently. "I hate this just as much as you, but we have to help."

"Right...let's go...." Serena responds quietly.

45 minutes later....
Me and Serena are in front of everyone of the rebels. Serena was shaking. She hated that she was doing this. And honestly so was I.

The next thing I see is a massive Pokémon. It was Dialga. And that's when me and Serena throw both of our four Pokeballs. All of our Pokémon appear.

"Serena are you sure you want to?" I ask.

"Yes Ash..It is my duty to protect people..."

"Ok...then let's finish this battle quickly..."
