"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!" Jack asked once he realized what he had done.

"Yeah I'm okay, are you okay? Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up with such a start." Aiden said as he looked at the stranger in front of him.

He was a rather pretty-looking boy, he had short curly, light brown hair, hazelnut eyes that glimmered in the sunlight, extremely pale skin like he hadn't seen the light of day in years, and a small stud piercing in each one of his ears.

"Yeah, I'm fine... Do you know where we are?" Jack answered as his eyes scanned their surroundings before landing back on Aiden.

He was quite an attractive-looking boy, he had short black hair that was going in every direction as if he had just rolled out of bed, light gray eyes that looked like a cloudy sky before a bad storm, tan skin, and a large pink scar that ran from his left eyebrow to the right side of his jaw.

"No, I don't, I don't know anything now that I think about it," Aiden answered, worry and confusion quickly filling his tone.

He tried to think back in his mind anything but he couldn't even remember his own name.

"Do you remember or know anything?" He asked, his eyes filled with panic though his body tried to show that he was calm and collected, not wanting to scare the boy in front of him.

Jack took a minute to reply, also trying to remember anything but he too came up blank.

"I don't, sorry." He answered as he looked down, just now seeing something poking out of his pocket.

He pulled it out and saw that it was a phone, it was at 100% battery confusing him.

He didn't remember charging his phone nor did he really remember having a phone at all.

"If this is my phone then it says my name is 'Jack Jane'. I mean this kid kind of looks like me right?" Jack asked as he showed Aiden a photo of a younger looking boy that heavily resembeled Jack.

"Yeah I would say so, unless you have a little brother?" Aiden answered as he searched his own pockets for a phone.

He wasn't so lucky because when he found his it was completely shattered and wouldn't even turn on.

"Do you have anyone you can call to get you?" He asked with a sigh as he put the shattered phone back into his pocket.

"Yeah I do, I have a bunch of contacts actually." Jack answered, his eyes widening at the amount of people he had in his contacts.

"I have someone labeled mom but then another person labeled mum but nobody named dad so I think I just have two moms. I also have a bunch of other people here but I don't recognise any of the names so I'm going to try calling the one labeled 'mom'." Jack said as he scrolled through the names of people.

He clicked the call button and put it on speaker as  he waited to see if they would reply.

It rang twice before someone answered.

"Hello?! Jack baby is that you?! If this is the person that took him, please, we'll give you anything you want, please just give us our baby back." A lady begged after answering confusing and shocking both boys.

"Oh um, yeah this is Jack. I don't know where I am but I turned my location on, do you think you can come pick me up please?" Jack answered instantly hearing a loud sob from the other side of the phone.

"Yes! Yes, we're on our way right now, let me call your mum Amy and tell her that you're safe after all this time. You are safe right?" Cassie asked as she rushed around the house trying to grab her keys and get out the house as quickly as possible.

"I think so, I'm in a field with another boy but he's nice so I think I'm safe, just confused." Jack answered honestly as he looked up at Aiden, giving him a small smile before looking back down at the phone.

"That's good, maybe stay away from him unless you know for a fact that he isn't in on the kidnapping. I'm going to the police right now and we should be able to come and get you really soon baby, don't worry. Just hang in for a little longer." Cassie said, her voice cracked and was full of a mix of worry and joy.

"Okay, thank you." Jack said as he heard the sound of Cassie's car pulling out of the driveway.

"Of course baby, I'm going to hang up now so I can call mum but call me back the second you think something bad might happen okay?" She stated more then asked.

"Okay, thank you again." Jack answered as his free hand played with the grass around him.

"I love you so much, I'll see you soon." She said, letting out another sob before trying to calm herself and focus on driving.

"Love you too." Jack said, cringing at his words before he hung up.

"So are you part of the people that kidnapped me?" He asked as he put his phone back in his pocket.

"Not that I'm aware of but I honestly don't know. I don't even rember my own name so for all we know I might have been." Aiden answered honestly with a bitter smile.

He was happy for Jack. He knew his name and had a family that clearly loved and worried about him.

Jack looked at Aiden before smiling.

"I don't think you've done anything bad. I trust you, I don't know why but I do. I think you're also a victim in this like I am. If mom or mum or whoever, allows it and youre comfortable with it then I think it would be best for you to come with me. I think we went through a similar thing and that's why neither of us rember anything. We can try and help you figure out who your parents are or who any of your family is with the police." He said as he looked into Aiden's stormy gray eyes.

"Only if you want to though, I'm sure the police will have a suggestion of their own if you don't want to. I just figured it might be nice to stay together because we're in the same boat." Jack cut his rambling off as he blushed in embarrassment making Aiden smile softly at him.

"I would really appreciate that actually, thank you." He answered making Jack smile brightly back at him.

"How about we try and find out some more about you off of your phone now?" Aiden suggested as he pointed to the pocket Jack had his phone in.

"Sounds like a good idea." He hummed before pulling his phone out.
