Conan's POV

"You ready," Ai ask me.

"Yup. So are you sure about staying Ai," I ask her as she gives me the antidote for the drug.

"Yes. I think it would be best. It would be like I'm given a second chance. Besides, the Detective Boys need me to keep them out of trouble," Ai tells me.

"Alright. I'm going to go change back," I tell her as I head to the bathroom.

It's been a year since I was turned into Conan. We were finally able to stop the Black Organization. Ai was able to get the notes from the project and she was able to make a working antidote that will reverse the effect of the drug Gin and Vodka gave me. I enter the bathroom with a change of clothing. I swallow the pill, with the help of water. I gasp as I hold the sink to keep myself from falling over. My heart starts to burn and I can feel my bones start to melt. I fall to the ground and breath heavily. I then scream out and pass out.

Shinichi's POV

I open my eyes to see that I'm in the bathroom. I groan and sit up as I look around. I stand up and look into he mirror to see, well...me! I smile and I quickly gets my clothing on. I then leave the bathroom to look for Ai.

"So I see it worked," I hear Heiji says.

"Heiji! When did you get here," I ask him.

"A few minutes ago. Ai told me where you were so I decided to see how you were," he explains as we head where Ai is sitting.

"So it works," she says.

"Yeah. Thanks for everything you've done," I tell her.

"It's not a problem. It was my fault you were struck so I was fixing my mistake," Ai says.

"Ok. Anyways, I'm going to go see Ran."

"Alright. See you later Kudo-Kun," Heiji says as I leave my house.

I walk towards Ran's place, knowing that she would be there. I wonder what's going to happen. I'm going to explain what exactly happened and how I was Conan Edogawa. Hopefully she won't be too angry at me. I soon reach her place. I smile and walk up the steps as I knock on the door.

"Coming," I hear Ran say.

She opens the door and gasp as I smile at her.

"Hey Ran! Long time no see," I say.

"Shinichi you're back," she says as she hugs me.

I hug her back and smile. She invites me in and she close the door behind me.

"So you back for good? Or are you just checking in on me," she says.

"I'm done with the case. I'm back for good. Though I got to explain what happened while I was away. And please wait until I finish explain to do what you might do," I tell her.

"Ok? What's this about Shinichi?"

I look at her as she sits down.

"I was Conan," I tell her.

I soon start to explain everyone about the Black Organization and the drug I was force to take. I explain how I became Conan Edogawa to keep them from knowing I was alive and to protect everyone I care for. I then explain how I helped her father solve all of the mysteries and everything that happened. I soon finish and silence falls over us.

"So you were so close...yet so far away," Ran says.

"Yeah. I'm sorry I didn't tell you Ran. I didn't want you to get hurt because of me. There was so many times I wanted to tell you. And you can pretty close a couple of times," I tell her. "I'll give you some space if you want me to. I understand if you need time alone."

"No. I'm good Shinichi. I'm just glade to know everything worked out and that you are safe. So are you going to tell the Conan's friends the truth," she ask me.

"Yeah. I was thinking about being a mentor to them," I tell her as I lean against the wall. "Without Conan they will need someone to try and keep them out of trouble. Ai can help them too so I know they are safe in some way. Though I'm not sure who else to tell this big secret. Maybe you can help me with that."

"Yeah sure. We can probably just tell my dad that Conan went to live with his parents in America. Though you should tell Inspector Megure what happened. Since I believe he is still in the dark," Ran says.

"Good idea. I wanted to tell you first, because honestly, I didn't know how you would react to this whole thing. Professor Agasa is going to make some of the gadgets I have into something I can wear on a daily basis. Like the power shoes. The sleeping watch still works and fits my wrist, so I'm wearing that right now. I don't really need the glasses so he might make something else," I tell Ran.

"Alright. So what's going to happen now," she ask me.

"I'm coming back to school. Life will go back to normal before the Black Organization became my year long case," I tell her.

"Yeah I know that. But what's going to happen between us?"

I look at her as she looks back at me.

"Well I was thinking...."
