Jess' pov-

I was in my house, grabbing celeste's collar to take her for a walk.I put on my mask,and continued searching. Once I found it, we headed out the door. Unfortunately, we crashed into someone. "Oh, my lord, I am sooooo soooorrryyy!!", exclaimed a high voice. "No, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going. My name is Aphmau, or Jess.", I apologized. She introduced herself, shyly saying her name was Shelby. Hmmmm.....cute name. We talked for a while, then I said my good-bye and headed to the park.

I saw something shiny on my counter. I examined it carefully. It was blue, white, and lilac. The colors of winter. It was a necklace, with a silver chain. It had a diamond imbedded in the center. Around it, a stone, the colors I said before. The necklace was beautiful, and I could never afford it.

I noticed something on the counter. A note. It read:

JESSICA APHMAU PHOENIX, YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN AS THE ELEMENT OF ICE. YOU SHALL GO TO A HOUSE NORTH, THROUGH THE WOODS. IF YOU LIVE WITH FAMILY, DO NOT WORRY. BY TOUCHING YOUR 'ACCESORY', AN INVISIBLE MIST WAS RELEASED, REACHING YOUR FAMILY. THE MIST HYPNOTIZES YOUR FAMILY TO THINKING THAT YOU ARE TRAVELING FOR A FEW YEARS. MAKE NO HASTE, FOR AT MIDNIGHT, YOU ARE TO GO TO THE HOUSE, WHERE YOU WILL TRAIN WITH YOUR NEW-FOUND POWERS. GOOD LUCK, AND SEE YOU THERE.

WHAT?! Oh, god. Why me?! Well, no one will miss me.... I guess I should go.....

I go to my room, and start packing. After that, I took a nap. This is gonna be interesting...
