Shelby's POV

We were all talking in the livimg room. I was talking to Cory, Adam was talking to Alesa, and Jin was talking to Jess. Max and Ross were in the kitchen.
Red was outside, planning to make us spar later.
"Hey, Shelby?",Cory asked, startling me.
"What's up?"
"Do you ever think about...what we are going up against? I mean, like, we can't fight all evil. Do you think we are going after the Source?"

I thought about it for a minute.
"Well, I don't really know, Cory!" I replied cheerfully.
He chuckled. I tilted my head, confused.
"What?"
"It's just... you are so happy to be here, while some others are just plain nervous. It's quite refreshing." He laughed. Red came back into the living room. "Welp, I have an announcement."
We gave Red questioning glances.
"Let's go spar!"

We cheered, and went outside. We got paired up as the same people who were talking to each other.

Jin and Jess went first.

"Start!", yelled Red.

And they did. Jess ran towards Jin. He side-stepped to avoid her, and shot a fire ball towards her. She made a shield of ice, which made the flames die down. She did a round-house kick, and Jin was sent flying 2 feet away. He ran towards her, and grabbed her arms, pinning her back. What happened next makes me feel bad for Jin. Jess gave him a glare. A death-meant one. She pushed her arm backwards, jabbing Jin. She made a ice sword, pushed Jin to the floor, and held her sword up to his neck. Then...she smiled. "Well, we know who won." She panted. "I SHIP IT!!" Me and Alesa said in unison. She gave us a death stare, which us coward in fear. She held out her hand to Jin, and helped him up. Adam was giving her a proud look, while the other guys had an 'O' on their faces. Jin laughed, clearly not bothered being beaten by a girl. "GG!" Red exclaimed. "Now, go Shelby and Cory!"
Greeeeaaaaaaattttt...
We went up to the field, and got in our battle stances.

"START!"

All of this is embarassing. Cory looked at me, in a way that made me feel bad for both of us."KICK HIS ASS, SHELBY!", Luna yelled. Adam put his hand over her mouth as if to say  "LANGUAGE!!".  Cory seemed distracted, so I naturally charged. He was caught off gaurd, so he stumbled back. But....a black flash of light appeared. When it cleared, all I saw was a shadow on the ground. Of course, the shadow disappeared. I was looking around, but couldn't see it. Then, a force tackled me to the ground, their arm against my neck, keeping me from struggling. Cory's image faded in, color returning. "I win.", he said triumphantly. I pouted and crossed my arms after helped me get up. "Aww, don't be like that", he said, lifting my chin. "OI! TAKE YO' HANDS OFF SHELBY/MY COUSIN!", yelled Alesa and Ross. I rolled my eyes.

Red, looking overhead, said: "We should head inside. It will rain soon."

Sure enough, we looked up and saw dark gloomy clouds gathering, waiting to release it's water down to Earth. 

I looked to Ross, who was pale. I knew he had a fear of lightning, so I grabbed his arm and together, we ran towards the house.

Adam's POV

I remember when Jess was little and she adored the rain. We would often head outside and play when we were little. I saw Jess smiling at the corner of my eye. An idea formed in my head. A crazy one. "Jess, wanna stay here?" I asked her. She looked at me with wide eyes, but nodded.

The rain came pouring down on us like a sack of potatoes. Jess and I ran as fast as we could into the rain. The rest of the team looked at us like we were crazy, but as long as my sis was smiling, I would follow her into a volcano. Jin didn't hesitate to join us. Soon, all of the team was in the rain, even Ross, who went in because he was afraid of being alone.  The rain slowed, and eventually stopped. Jess looked like she won the lottery. Then she started giggling. I laughed. The team, even Ross, was happy beyond wonder. We went inside and dried up. All of the guys were sharing a room, and the girls were, too. Max broke the silence by asking," You really love your sis, don't you?". I nodded and grinned. We went downstairs to see the girls looking at Jess in wonder as she played the guitar. She was playing 'Sweater Weather', a song we loved when we were kids. I sat beside her, and began singing.

Luna's POV-

I was panting... I forgot how much air I lost when I sang that song.

Red started clapping. Then Jin. Then everyone started cheering.

I locked my gaze at Adam.

I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Thanks, Sky."

He was obviously caught off gaurd by his middle name.

He smiled and said,"No prob, bob."

I playfully punched him, and went to talk to Jin.

He hugged me.

"You did great!"

"WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!"

He turned pale.

"Oh, no."

We turned, only to see:

Adam glaring at Jin.

Shelby and Alesa fangirling.

And the rest of the guys smirking.

They were in for a world of pain.

I quickly tackled everyone, summoned a scythe, and pointed it at everyone. Max started, "Come on, Aph-" I knocked him out in a punch.

"Only friends call me that, shithead."

I de-summoned my scythe, and smiled.

"Anyone else?" I asked sweetly.

They nodded so much it looked like they were having a seizure.

"Good" I smirked.

I set Max down on the couch, and went to bed.
